Are there 3rd party qi chargers that can do 15w? - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Accessories

I've seen some on amazon that list 15w, so i'm curious if those work or not, or is this a similar situation as 25/45w chargers that need some specific configuration for the note to confirm.

I have tried 2, and no, just 7.5~10 W, but that is enough for me

This one from Ebay works at 15W, plus it's foldable and at a great price.

I asked them about Note 10 in the comments section and they confirmed it will be using 15W charging.

Problem with all above is you need the correct wall charger that can out 15w

Legit 2.1A Car USB Charger for Android?

The only legit fast chargers I've found were the free ones that came with Motorola bluetooth headsets. But the wires would fray after a few months.
I see many 2.1A chargers online but only for Apple devices. I'm having a hard time figuring out which chargers deliver 2.1A to Android devices, Nexus 4 in this case.
Can someone point me to something that will deliver 2.1A to our N4s?
Thanks.

i have this charger under a different brand and can confirm it charges a bit faster than the motorola rapid charger(mine broke too). You can get this same charger under the powergen or mediabride brand.
also 2.1 amp chargers are usually specifically designed for the ipad and will not work well with android devices, it's just that this one has a 1amp socket that works well with android.
If I understand what you guys are implying, the Nexus 4 won't charge any different whether on a 2.1A or 1A output charger?
The Anker description says it will output 2.1A to an iPad and 1A to an Android device simultaneously.
It charges at 2.1a without an issue. Its older android phones that have problems with high speed charging. Nexus 4 charges very quickly with my car charger (Anker) and my home charger, 1.8a blackberry charger.
**this one is not specifically designed for the iPad. Its actually designed for android hence the microusb output. It just has an extra USB out that if connected to an iPad, can also charge it at 2.1a but if both devices are connected at the same time, it gives priority to the iPad. OP wants it for his nexus 4. No issue, it'll charge at 2.1a

no android phone can accept 2.1a, only tablets specifically the ipad can accept this much current. 2.1a is the default current for the ipad. I've tried lots of 2.1a chargers and very few can actually deliver more than 6-700mA to an android phone.
this is the same as the mediabridge/powergen one just with a cable attached, the micro usb cord attach is coming from the 1a socket. If you plug a micro usb into the 2.1a socket you will get the same current(probable less since that socket is designed for the ipad) as the attached cable.
the fastest rate is 800 or 900 mA for the nexus 4 with the factory adapter. you can check using battery monitor widget. i have the ankor charger(mediabridge version) and it gives about the same current as the factory adapter.
Hey Neo,
You're right. I downloaded "current widget" and see that it maxes out at a little over 800mA.
Learned something new today..

Does anyone know where to get a good 1piece wall charger with a longer cord. Or maybe even a good data/charging cable that can handle higher amps of our chargers. I'm looking for something longer than the small cord they gave us with ours phones charger. I know that not call cables are created equally though.

Thank u just picked one up on eBay for 9.99 shipped to replace my old car charger that's acting up. I'm in my truck all day for work so a good USB charger is essential.

get the monoprice 28/24AWG 6ft cable. It will still charge a bit slower than the factory cable since it's so much longer but it's better than most other cables.

I bought a 10ft usb extender cable. My girlfriend is is love with it. Adds resistance so it'll charge slower than the normal plug, but it's good for when you sleep or are doing stuff around the house. Best $4 ever spent lol.

This car charger freaking rocks. It charged my N4 in 1 1/2 hours from 2% to 100% I highly recommend it. I never thought ID ever find a car charger that's faster than my old Motorola rapid charge but this charger takes the cake. Plus it has an extra usb port so I can charge my N7 or another phone at the same time and its a 3.1 amp charger to plenty of juice.

I use Avantek for my Nexus 4 and my iPad. Dual USB ports with one 1.0A and another 2.1A. Dunno if the specs were right but it does give full charge to my N4 when I'm using the navigation app.

QuickCharge works fine with powerbanks

I have an Anker Astro 3 12000mah powerbank as well as Xiaomi 10400 & 16000mah. All seem to charge the S6 as fast as the stock Adaptive Fast Charger. I usually charge when I'm down to 40% and all these powerbanks when connected to the S6 show as cable charging. The time to hit 100% though is exactly the same as the fast charger.
So guys don't throw away your existing powerbanks and dole monies out for some unknown brands that claim to be QC2.0 compliant.
PS: I have a two year old Samsung 9000mah powerbank that released along with the S4. Will try if that QuickCharges the S6 tonight. The S6 is picky with the cables though. I get the QuickCharge only with good quality cables. I use an original Samsung cable that came with a spare 2amp charger and an Anker cable. Work perfect.

No. As I mentioned it says Cable Charging. But the time taken to charge is the same as the stock charger. Fast.

I've been using this 10,000mAh power bank from Aukey, which supports Quick Charge 2.0 and the S6 does display Fast Charging Connected. I just haven't compared charge time between this and the stock charger yet. All I can say is they're both blazing fast. According to this other thread, the stock charger has 5V and 9V outputs, just like any QC 2.0 charger, therefore, they should work the same. I'm not sure about non-QC2.0 compatible power banks though.

Amazon aukey or anker are excellent alternatives. Quick charge 2.0 is what you must get.

Any issues with using Samsung USB C cables/chargers on V20?

With all the returns and obtaining of phones I've amassed a nice stockpile of Samsung fast chargers and a few Samsung USB C cables(and adapters).
I've read before that USB C allows for non standard use of cables by manufacturers so I'm wondering if anyone has tried or knows if it will be an issue using the said chargers/cables (yes I know the Samsung chargers are only QC 2.0 spec).
I have a QC 3.0 car charger I got from Aukey during a sale. I have some Aukey USB A to USB C cables too that work fine with my Note 7 too.
Trying to see if I need to slowly replace my Samsung chargers with official QC 3.0 wall chargers (will need at least 2)
Here at work I am using my Note 7 charger setup. Left LG flat cable at home.

Thanks for the reply, that puts me a bit at ease. I'll probably still get some QC 3.0 wall chargers but wait until I see a sale from Aukey for one.
Sorry. Side question.
What's the wattage for the US Samsung fast charger?

It's adaptive fast charger and does either 5.0v @ 2A or 9.0v @ 1.67A so 10w or 15w respectively
All QC are backwards compatible. QC 3 will know you are using QC 2 and charge at the rate of QC 2. If you use a QC 3 charger and have a QC 2 device the device will only draw QC 2. So you have nothing to worry about as long as they are QC compliant

Alternative charger?

Sorry if this has been asked. Can I use the OEM/stock charger of the Nexus 6p on the LG V20?
I use it and my old charger from note 7 also

Thank you sir.
Mine works with variety of QC2.0 chargers
Note 7 one (with retail package)
Anker
Tronsmart.
I have charged mine with my brothers stock nexus 6p charger and it charges pretty fast. Havent timed them or anything but its definitely as fast as the stock v20 one. Only problem is if its safe or not since there is that whole debate about Qualcomm's QC 3 not being compliant with the USB Type-C charging standard.
