You will love it.
My favorite IM program is Palringo. http://www.palringo.com
It connects to everything. It doesn't use up that much memory. It plays nicely if you want it to run all the time. You have to sign up with them, but I've gotten 0 emails from them and they work on the concept of freeware. Check it out.
i'm trying palringo, it seems like it will be nice, but it will not let me sign on to AIM. it says that i have been connecting and disconnecting too frequently. but i have never even signed on. every time i click on AIM then change my status to online it says logging in then that i've been connecting and disconnecting too frequently. any suggestions?
keep trying.. after 3 or 4 attempts, it should connect
palringo requires you to have a browser connection to be online.
sooo
does the free aim program on the wing run from the wifi network... or does it charge u on the edge network?? because i was using webmessenger on the wifi i think and wasnt sure if it was actually usuing it on the edge network... and i really dont wanna be charged for the edge network so can i jus use wifi whenever i wanna use aol instant messenger with a free program downloaded to my wing.. ?
u dnt get charge for edge unless you u have a data plan. dnt listen to tmobile. their internet is not like other networks pay-for-use instead it get a data plan or get dnt get sh!t. i recommend getting tzones 5.99 dnt worry wat tmobile say about it (than i help you set it up so u can use it with the best software like im+ & aim 2.0 "offical aol software") pm me
i posted this but someone took it down what i said before is the OZ im suite that comes with the tmobile wing you can find it in the .cabs for wing thread i think just reinstall that .cab i use it for aim alone. it also offers icq and yahoo but i prefer to just use the text version of yahoo... All over a gprs connection which means no added charges ( if you have unlimited texts that is )

about msn can't online through gprs

hi,everyone .this bother me for a long time I ask many times to get some help but no one can tell me how to resolve this.
I am in USA and use as T-MOBILE I have T-ZONE service I can use my phone online watch news you tube etc.but just msn can't online.anyone know how to fix that problem? please help on this one.thank you
no one know??! anyone live in usa have same problem??
dont know about USA. But for Vodafone NL you need to add a proxy server to your connection settings in order to get MSN to work. Maybe something like that is also needed for your provider
Some phone operators have blocked a lot of ports in order to limit capabilities of the lines. Perhaps only http port is open so MSN can't connect as it uses a specific port range to access its servers.
In France, SFR operator is acting like this, so I can't use MSN Messenger, except if I use its own specific software, which is not very attractive.
In my case MSN, Skype, don't work with proxy.
When I deleted proxy server everything works ok.

Market connection/download at university

Hi all.. When I connect to my university's wifi connection I'm not able to download anything from the market.. It says "I'm starting the download" but it remains stuck on that..
Also I'm not able to connect to gTalk or to use the voice search.. For sure they are all related..
Do you know if it's possible to avoid that kind of protection setted up from my university?
Thankx
Does your university require you to use proxy?
Does it block HTTPS traffic?
Is there a sort of MAC address control on its network (you have to subscribe to the network from each MAC you're using)?
What does the browser show when you try to browse the internet?
No I don't have to use any proxy.. I think that https is not blocked (98% sure, how can I test?)
Yes, they require me to subscribe the mac adress of my device (mobile phone or pc).
When I browse the web nothing special happens
Test https - for example, try any secure site from the phone's browser (Gmail, banking, etc).
They work..
