Black screen bootloader and constant hard freezes - Moto G6 Plus Questions & Answers

If I have my phone off, and power it on it will boot straight into the bootloader but have a black screen, if I press the powerbutton I assume I am choosing "resume poweron" because the phone restarts and then powers up with a black screen for 30 seconds before the animated part of the boot animation starts.
I have done a full reflash(afaik) from LOLINET using my device model file XT1926-5 and my region RETAPAC and when I reboot it still has the black screen.
I have Magisk installed and I believe my bootloader is unlocked, the only thing I remember doing was trying to flash TWRP but I have done a full restore since then using LOLINET.
Usually a black screen like this wouldn't be a problem, however the real annoyance is my phone constantly will freeze up for no reason, I will be mid way writing a message and the whole phone will hard freeze, I have tried doing another restore to see if this will fix it and alas it has not, so I am at a loss to what is going on, I have booted into TWRP and tried repairing partitons thinking something could be flipped and it was angry but no.
So I am a tad bit out of ideas unless anyone has anything for me? Logcat doesn't turn up anything interesting reguarding the crashes, I haven't found any events that are logged with ERROR,ASSERT or WARNING at the time of crash.
Anyone got something for me?

Are you able to get in recovery mode, or the bootloader just freeze.

If I try go to recovery it falls through tight away to the boot loader

Even if I use adb reboot recovery it just reboots into the black screen fastboot.

[Q] htc g2 tmobile no hard reboot

used gingerbreak on g2. Got superuser and everything was great. Now (don't know why) no splash screen, no recovery even holding down volume and power on boot, random screen blackout. tried to re-gingerbreak with no effect. tried hard reset with no effect. stuck in hell please help. phone is stock rom and has no modifications even has all bloat-ware.
p.s. initial problem upon booting screen black but have lights at bottom after stock boot sound hit power twice and phone is active like normal. now stuck like this after each boot and couldn't find anything about the problem after searching. I hope this hasn't been covered before. Any thoughts? I am at my wits end about to get out the light saber and take out my frustrations on the mutt
If your phone is this: http://www.htc.com/us/products/t-mobile-g2/ then you're in the wrong place.

Phone does not boot

Hello,
my friend has a problem with his phone. He neither installed a custom rom, nor he rooted it. He updated OTA and after a week, while he was talking, the phone shut down.
When he powers it on the screen lights up and nothing else happens. Sometimes the vodafone splash came up, but nothing more.
I don't know if the phone boots into recovery as I don't see anything on the screen.
I tried booting to fastboot mode, and the pc detects it. But I whatever I try to do, (flash, erase etc) I get the error: Remote not allowed...
Any ideas how to fix it?
Have you considered hardware problem?
Yes I have but first i want to make sure that it isn't any software problem

Nexus 7 Super Brick? HELP

Hello I am trying to fix a friend nexus 7 first gen
the problem is that it keeps flashing the white google logo like its boot looping , the system doesn't even seem to be restarting just a flash on flash off google logo , no nexus logo or anything else at all.
I cannot get into recovery it will just shutoff everytime i try even from the bootloader menu
tablet doesn't have debugging mode on so only thing I can do is work via fastboot
already tried to flash like 5 different versions of android and everytime it finish (succesfully) and goes to restart it just keep doing the same on the google screen.
any help is greatly appriciated, and I have been searching all around the internet for hours now and have seen many solutions to bootlooping which I have pratice before on many of my other android devices but nothing like this problem.
thank you and pardon my english.
When you turn on the tablet with the power button and the screen's backlit turns up, press the VolDown button. This way you can boot into bootloader and flash a factory image provided by Google.
yup like I said before I did got into bootloader and flashed factory stock images like 10 times now and still having the same problem, this is what i usually do when I get into bootloops with any other android device but for some reason this time is different.
its not idle at google and I dont even get to see the nexus logo it just shows the google logo for one second and screen goes black then again the google logo and black screen like infinite restarts with one second delay.
Then it maybe hardware related (corrupted nand/partition/etc) so you might consider to send it to Asus/Google to repair.

Nexus 10 powers off during boot screen

Hey all,
Just some details before the background.
I was running a stock with a unlocked bootloader for a while now. I basically only use my nexus now to watch netflixs and HBOgo. Got the tablet over four years ago.
This morning after it's nightly charge I went to unlock it and it froze up. I rebooted it, noticed the date was off (Jan 1st) and froze after I unlocked it. Reboot again, it made it to the screen where it was optimizing my apps but the screen starting flickering and having artifacts, and powered off. Now it will power itself off 5 or so seconds into the boot animation.
I've tried going into recovery via the bootloader but when I select it and hit the power button it just turns it self off. I then used the nexus toolbox to reflash a stock rom (along with a factory reset), and TWRP. I tried booting up again and same thing. I then went into TWRP and start troubleshooting, but the screen is starting to flicker and have artifacts, then powers off.
Is the hardware dead on this?
Sorry for the jumbled mess of details, i've been bouncing around trying to troubleshoot/fix this.
PIT files
PIT files
My nexus 10 has the boot loop problem and I think I have been left with the only option of Re-Partition but I need the PIT file. Can anybody help or provide this file?
I have tried everything else (fastboot, adb, temporary custom recoveries, Nexus Root Toolkit) with no success.
Is the battery original? If so, it's possible the battery could be reaching its end.

Stuck on encryption lock screen, won't boot PLEASE HELP

Hey everyone,
So my phone died and then I got it charged and turned on and it booted up to the encryption lock screen where it says to start up your device, enter your pin. So I enter my pin and then its says, "verified" and then "starting android". and then a padlock appears on the screen, it opens, and there's like a load up circle going around it. At first, I let the phone sit to see if it would do anything but after an hour, I figured something is wrong. I dont know why this happened, I think I might have accidentally turned on the secondary encryption, but this really sucks, I don't want to have to factory reset and lose all my pictures and data. I can boot into recovery mode but sometimes when i turn it on it shows a screen that says installing update and has like a google ring looking thing that should be spinning around but it looks like its glitching out, after that screen it will go to a no command screen, and then it will eventually reach recovery mode. I really hope someone can help or knows what is going on because, I really dont want to lose all my stuff.
Thanks for your time
I tried posting link but im new, if you look up s7 edge frozen encryption, its the first link , another person describes the same issue.
I had this issue. In recovery, tell it to clear the delvic cache. Then try a reboot.
It too a few attempts before the phone would not boot directly into recovery. But once i got it to do a normal boot, it started normally.
Then after it's running, back it all up, boot into recovery, and do a system restore.
Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I restarted my phone, it asks for my pin which I enter correctly. It then gets stuck on spinning padlock. I've tried a soft reset (I think that's what it's called, holding down power and volume keys). It restarts, I enter pin, it says starting android then gets stuck again. I'm not very tech minded (typical girl). Can anyone help. I'd rather not lose all my photos and apps. Thank you so so much in advance. Toni x
I am facing the same issue, but with a Samsung Galaxy S8.
- Safe mode: doesn't boot
- Recovery mode: works, clear cache doesn't solve the problem.
So since nothing worked to make it work (except the Factory Reset, but I didn't tried this option), I decided to wait in the padlock screen. After 3 hours the phone started.
I guess that the phone is decrypting some big file during startup. Indeed, some days before before this problem happens, I downloaded some big files via torrent (~2-4 GB video files).
I'll delete these files and make some tests to understand the source of this problem.
Have same issue after recent update, tried clearing cache and safe mode but didn't help, been on padlock for about 10 hours now, any solutions/experiences?
ps: on stock rom with stock recovery, no root or anything of that sort at all.
Have exactly the same issue..Please help
