Another clue to battery and shutdown problem

It seems I have the same prob with the mda pro shutting down at a set battery level.
I followed the recommendations on the other threads:
<quote>
1. Fully charge the device with the "wall charger" not USB.
2. Put device into bootloader mode (backlight+power+reset) and run until device goes dead.
3. Charge the device completely with the “wall charger” not USB again.
4. Set screen brightness to MAX and turn off ALL power saving features.
5. Unplug the device from charger and run until completely dead again.
6. Repeat step 3, then restore custom screen brightness and power saving features.
7. Finished.</quote>
I did the drain method above about 5 times, and let it charge up for about 12+ hours each time to full.
I also flashed back to official T-Mobile UK Rom and this didn't make much difference.
Now my battery drains normally if the MDA pro is left idle- it goes from 100% all the way until 30%.
But as soon as I use a battery intensive task, such as connect to the internet, put the screen brightness up to full... it again just shuts down as before.
The only thing i haven't tried is getting a new battery... then I'm calling T-Mobile to get it replaced.
Just thought I'd add a clue to help solve this weird problem.
I had a similar problem with my jasjar - only thing that helped was a new battery. I'm not more cautious of ensuring I fully drain the battery regularly, and it seems to be working well...

L7 II Battery drain

Hello.
I want to know if there's someone else having this issue.
I charge my phone (p712) to 100%, and when I restart it/shut it down and start it without being pluged to charger wire it starts at 94% and it goes to 89% in less than a minute, after that it get slowing down a little but still goes down quickly till 50% and then it takes longer to decrease the %.
I already calibrated the battery.
¿Maybe it's a rom problem? ¿or it's not optimized for battery visualization?
Thanks for comments.

Slow charging

Hey guys,
I have just bought a used Note 4, I upgraded from Note 3 and I am facing an issue while charging it, I'm using fast charging and it goes fast from 0 to about 70% in approximately an hour, but after that, it takes forever to reach 100% maybe two extra hours, I tried calibrating the battery but it didn't work. I noticed that it sometimes gets stucked for a while at 85+ and when I take off the battery and put it in again, the phone becomes fully charged.
And also my battery only offers me 2h30 or 3h max SOT which is very poor compared to the Note 3 I used to have.
Should I replace the battery or what is the problem?
Thank you.
First do a factory data reset, or setting reset. Or try to update the firmware.

Nexus 6p suddenly shuts down at ~20% battery left

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my nexus 6p's battery. My phone is always shutting down as soon as it reaches around 20% left. I tried a full factory reset, different roms but the problem is still present.
The strange thing: I can't boot into android after it shut down. But: I can boot into twrp. I could run my phone for 2hours in recovery mode. I made about 10 backups and deleted them immediately.
The display was on and on 100% brightness.
Is it possible to recalibrate the battery? This is so annoying!
You probably need a new battery. Download AccuBattery from the Play Store, and use it to check the health of the battery.
Yeah definitely the battery I had similar issue. For now you could just keep the battery topped up but in time will start doing it at random times.

Sounds like a battery that's done...get a replacement...they're not that expensive.

Once you emptied it in recovery, try charging and quickly (with fast charge like 10s should be sufficient) booting then without using the phone, letting the phone charge and stay 1h30 at 100%.
Then let it discharge and when you reach the 20%, you need to have the minimum discharge rate (airplane mode, no heavy app, screen off). Every like, 30mn, check your percentage and screen off again.
Has anyone had an issue similar to mine? My issue is that the phone never shuts off when i'm using it. Randomly, a couple of times a week, i lock the phone after using it, and when i go back to turn it on, i see that the phone has shut off. I can turn the phone back on without needing to put it on a charger. Running PN + EX kernel if that matters.

moto g4 Automatically shuttling down

Battery draining much faster than before.. at certain% of battery the phone automatically shuts down itself..and shows no charge.after plugging in.it shows 46% .. I'm getting sick of this issue..everytime i charge upto 100% within 20 mins the phone gets shut down.. battery replacement is not the solution.pls help
Did you try changing the ROM or reflashing the current ROM?
If the issue is still present then it is a hardware issue, and battery replacement is the solution.
