Google Pixel 4 Recorder Thread - Redmi K20 / Xiaomi Mi 9T Questions & Answers

I thought we can have a thread that follows this, as there seems to be some interest around it. None of the current versions out there seems to work properly on the 9T yet.
Please share your experiences and if you found a working APK/workaround.

FM Tuner G2 discussion. Is it possible to activate?

One of the main selling points of the G2 was the FM Tuner which I saw several references to in my research on various spec and unboxing sites (will try to add links). I was dimayed to find it removed on my carrier and had seen conflicting info about its history after purchase. I had stopped thinking about it until today when a service discovery program listed a non-started s3ervice called: .com.broadcom.fm.fmreciever.Fmservice
This renewed my hope that it could be reenabled through software, that it might be built into the radio module. I'm aware carriers use different radio bands but when comparing specs I saw no indication they used a different module, just turned on some bands. I know the images and reviews I saw may have been from a global or dev version or an early showoff release, but I was hoping this thread could help to sort this out. I will try to update with links when I know I won't lose what I typed. I have searched through this forum and threads and found nothing specific on this topic, I am pretty new here so thank you.
Questions should be in Q and A... assuming it's a question.
Perhaps you could be more clear what you are asking for.

[Q] Camera mod for G2 running CM12?

Please excuse this post if this has been answered before, I've searched around but can't seem to find anything definitive on XDA, Reddit, Androidforums, Google, etc.
Hi all - I got one of the cheap G2s as posted on Phandroid a week or so ago, and so far I'm VERY disappointed with the camera in low light. I've Googled around and searched XDA as well as Reddit, and there's several camera fix posts but very few zips or otherwise files to download and get started that I've been able to find. I'm also confused as apparently people are accusing the authors of stealing work and the files I need are difficult to find as a result.
Has anyone flashed a working camera fix on CM12 or something similar?
I'm not new to rooting/flashing/etc, and I already have been successful in both flashing CM12 and returning the phone to stock via TOT flash. I don't care about the work involved getting the camera up to snuff as long as the results are there and I can actually obtain the files I need. Just got the phone Friday and it was such a steal that I'd hate to return it, but I need a camera that gets 30fps clearly in low light. I also bought the phone specifically to run CM or similar on it so anything for stock ROMs isn't of any real value for me.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

[GUIDE] 60Hz YouTube Fix! [G928/N920]

Wrote a guide in the T-Mobile edge+ forum, check it out! Not sure how many of you are still having problems with this, but just in case you are:

Thanks for the post, but can you add ROOT somewhere in your thread title, since that's required for this to work? Thanks.
"I'm aware that many people have recently been having a problem on their S6 edge+ and Note 5 units where YouTube will display all supported resolutions (up to 1440p), but only in 30Hz."
how did you even test this?

Sign for Project treble for the oneplus 5t!!!! change.org.

Hello everyone,
As i am sure you're aware, Oneplus recently told the public that they weren't going to support project treble with their devices. This only concerns the oneplus 5t but maybe with a bit of luck and community support, they shall do the same for their other devices on oreo.
Let's hope this works!!

Am I the only one laughing right now. We have a forum for the Oneplus 5T if you are not aware. also why is the project treble so important to you when Oneplus is already doing a good job providing regular updates to the OP5 and OP5T

As I mentioned above, I have posted this to spread the word about the poll. You DON'T have to sign it if you don't want to but it would greatly help us if you did.
Please post on the 5T forums if this is regarding your device. There are already 2 threads concerning the change.org petition in the 3/3T forums. Please do a search before spamming with repeat posts.
OnePlus also confirmed that they took the petition into account, and they said they still will not implement Project Treble into the 3/3T/5/5T.
Appreciate the effort but they are not going to do it. Had they changed the partition tables before release, might have worked out. As things stand and they will since they care about giving the 18 months life support and nothing more as such, Project Treble is a dead end. We can hope with the 6. If there is a 6 that is.
But then I still feel Oneplus is a way better OEM than many others out there that promise things and don't deliver without even mentioning anything to their customers. At least Oneplus talks, even if its sometimes to tell us we are screwed. Appreciate the honesty.
In the meantime, enjoy your 5T and support it gets till the release of P.

Looking forward to get OP 8PRO

Hello . im on the market for a new phone and most likely will be the 8Pro,
Any common problems ?
I'd recommend browsing through the questions here in this topic section for common items but, honestly, google is your friend here. I know there's a rundown on AndroidAuthority of some common problems and possible solutions, so that may also be a good place to start.
Yes, there are numerous similar threads around over the last year that can assist you...
