just receiving OTA 227.62 mb, dont know what changes it has.
It's strange that after the update, the DETAIL menu from Battery can't be pressed. So no Auto Stop Apps after 10 minutes anymore...

I was previously on 5.0.2 on my UK S6 Edge sim free and yesterday I got this 5.1.1 update.
No idea if it's the standard 5.1.1 or the updated one that fixes the memory and battery leaks.

That's BOGB, so the latest 5.1.1.
Too early to say for sure if this fixes all my issues with my S6E but, after 24 hours running it, it does seem better than any of the other S6E builds I've used.

Dave

That's cool. It's difficult for me to say as I never got the update to the first 5.1.1 and was stuck on 5.0.2 and only yesterday did i get the update to 5.1.1
But so far battery life seems to be on par with 5.0.2 and I do notice that unlocking the lock screen and going into the home screen seems a tad faster.
is it worth to loose root? cos i'm still on 5.02 with Root Exploit [email protected] and i use Titanium Backup a lot
Battery seems to be better on mine since the update

Yeah, same for me.
I'm not finding much different than BOFJ. Battery maybe better but too early to say yet.
Just a question to participators, what version of Android were you all on prior to the update..I'm trying to get my head around this update as there's another news that Samsung has released another update of about 120mb in France...

I don't think anyone except Samsung can understand their Rom updates (maybe even they can't!)

Hey all, I just used my invite to buy a oneplus 2, has anyone else ordered one? how long does it take to arrive?
also is there an ETA on my shareable invites? I have googled around but I cant find anything as of yet.
cheers
@Jonnyn93 - Congratulations. Once you receive your unit and have updated to the latest version of OxygenOS. Can you please flash TWRP, wipe, then create a backup zip and post a link to it here. Those of us with the Chinese handset flashed with OxygenOS are stuck on the pre-release firmware (OnePlus2Oxygen_14_OTA_002_all_1507251956).
Oneplus have some info on shipping on their website. Not sure if this applies to the Oneplus 2 though.

heh, no. There was a huge OTA update last week which fixed a lot of bugs and improved performance, battery life and the finger print reader. Check out this video for the build no (150807):
Oh **** seriously? And I'm guessing OTA is out of the question? Well **** I didn't know the current t build online was a prebuild

It was online even before the OPT was released in China (4th of August). I have tried the HydrogenOS OTA update. It has quite a few bug fixes and improvements. It's a shame that HydrogenOS is so awful.

With all the devices out there someone should have uploaded the new one? Actually come to think of it why haven't OP uploaded the factory image yet?
Slightly miffed the pre-release can't be OTA'd

I'm not sure. That is a good question. I was just talking with someone who has an international OPT and they have the same build no. So they might not have rolled it out to everyone yet. Which means there is hope. Some of the reviewers definitely got the OTA though as they wrote about it in their reviews. One I read was pissed as they turned down the OTA to download it later, but it never came again and checking for updates manually didn't work.

I'm thinking those of us on beta 7.1.1 may have to roll back to 7.0 to catch OTA but not sure. Good question.. I'm gonna roll back and try and force update, no luck for me thus far on beta 711.. I'll report back later..

Looks like beta people will get ota as well. This article says so..

Great news tnx a lot for this info
I got the stock 7.1.1 OTA yesterday it's running good.
Hit the check now button to check manually, even if it already did automatically you can find the update manually.
Do anyone know if stock nexus builds support f2fs, and if, for which partitions? (I've done some mild google'ing on the topic with no definite answers).
I'm on the beta still no OTA update even when checking it manually

I checked mine about 100 times manually then downloaded full ota and flashed it using FlashFire app yesterday.
Any word on the Bluetooth issue from DP1+DP2 going away?
I had the beta 7.1, and had not received the official OTA.
my wife also has a 5X, but on 7.0, she got the notification the day after I read that they were rolling it out "in the next few weeks"
so I updated hers, then un-enrolled my device and as soon as I restarted mine I got the notification for 7.1.1
So far life is good with it, nothing major
the 2 things I am most peeved about is no Daydream VR and still have the Google search bar front and center (figuratively)
I enrolled my Nexus 5X in the beta program and when I try to side load the official 7.1.1 release it gives me an error: "Can't install this package over newer build. Installation aborted". Is there any significant change taking about stability and battery from the DP2 and the official release? Thanks!
Got the update to stock 7.0 few days ago. This is the fastest I have ever received any android update.
Did not even check manually for updates as I was not expecting this to be available or few weeks!
today I received the new update 8.5 :victory:

This update is only 1/3 the size of the last ones.
Can someone post the link to the update file? I'm not getting the update.
Update Instal ?
I think even though it's something that will never happen, because the BLU R1-HD has been discontinued and BLU does not update its phones so often, we would all have liked this update to be the promised Android-7.0 Nougat!
But unfortunately this New Version 8.5 archive only includes security patches (Until 5 junio, 2017), maybe that's why the size is only 134.53MB!

Same here. This update has apparently been out since the 13th. Why is it taking so long to roll out?
As I currently have 6 (six) BLU R1-HD cellphones and they all received the latest 8.5 update yesterday, it seems very strange that some had not received it yet.
Interestingly, although my 6 BLU R1-HDs were purchashed on different dates: 2 when the cellphone came out, 2 about six months ago and 2 last month, as I said before, they all received the update at the same time!
So, I am starting to believe that maybe BLU has temporarily stopped the v8.5 update, or is releasing it very slowly.
No one can get the update link for us unfortunate ones?

So I was about to go back to either 6.6 or 7.4.2 to see what update is offered. But before i do. What version were on before the update notice came?
I went ahead and reinstalled 7.4.2 and checked for updates. I was offered V8.4
so blu maybe has paused the update for some reason,

I haven't updated because I even didn't receive the update, my phone is branded, but yes, this version causes battery drains, there are many posts online about that. I suggest to quickly update when the b190 rolls out for everyone.
