Any idea where the current live wallpaper file is stored on the S8? I have moved from Galaxy S8 to Galaxy S10. On my old Galaxy S8 I had a live wallpaper that was created from a saved Snapchat video. It's not saved in photos or anywhere else I can find on the device. It's an important little video snippet to me and I'd like to save it at least and at best move it to a live wallpaper on my S10.

for those of you who cant be bothered cropping and whatnot here is a wallpaper i made which i thought was a bit special.
Nice Thanks for sharing...
whats the best directory to drop these in? preferably one that plays nice w/ MyPhone??
nice background, gonna use it right away!!
i tend to put them into my documents/wallpapers. then they will be available to select if you go through the manila settings tab to change your wallpaper. its a shame that once you apply the picture as your wallpaper that it loses some sharpness. also when i uploaded the jpeg, it was 122kb, and the forum has resized it to 26 or so. it has lost some definition.
I think that my original firmware contained a widget to create a playlist for the TouchWiz Musicplayer. In newer firmwares I can't find this widget. So I wonder a) did such a widget really existed ? (My memories might be colored) and if so, b) can someone extract the widget from the system/app directory? (or tell me the firmware you have and I will try to get it myself)
Thanks in advance
I have the stock original running on my Galaxy S and there's nothing showing in either the Samsung or Android Widget sections.
Having said that I have seen the widget you are referring to.
I'll have a dig around later.....
EDITED 1:
Found it.... Pure Music Widget.
Read it here
EDITED 2:
There may be a problem... see post 324 on that link.
Bit I know I have seen it on a Galaxy S screen. It was shown running on a screen over at hardwarezone.com
I'd like to find a music widget for the samsung Mp3 Player but Pure Music Widget does not work.. any ideas without installing another app for music?

Well that's so weird. I definitely thought that I could create shortcuts to playlists on my desktop with my original firmware. Maybe from the musicplayer itself? Or maybe it is just some retrospective wishfull thinking (is that possible? )
Hi
just got a galaxy s on tmobile in the UK.
It's good but it seems that lots of images in the browser and displaying in low res, they all look blocky.
It's happening in apps too - the thumbs of peoples faces in facebook are blurred/blocky, images from the engadget app are blocky etc.
I've compared to another galaxy S and the images on that look fine.
Would anyone have any idea whats causing it? thanks
Edit - It seems to be intermittent too. For example, if i do a google image search, the thumbs are sharp, but if I click on a pic and it goes into the slideshow view all the images are REALLY blocky. If I click the link to the original page were the image is coming from the image loads up fine.
It seems to be my carrier, tmobile.
When i put other sim cards in the phone it works fine.
Very annoying, makes buying a nice phone like this for web browsing kind of pointless.
Anyone know of a way to bypass this?
Hi Guys,
Wow, not long after I upgraded my Galaxy S to 2.3.3 and totally happy with the increased performance, my phone plan came due for renewal and I secured a Galaxy S2. Two great phones.
But I don't seem to be able to find the Daily Briefing or the really neat "Disc View" in the music section on the S2. Am I pathetic at finding things or are they missing?? If missing, why would Samsung remove the great animation of the Disc View, I really liked that feature.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Daily briefing look under Samsung apps for an update.
Not a clue what disc view is .

ok, I have probably called it by an incorrect name. Sorry 'bout that. What I am referring to is the animation of the albums turning into LP's with the album art on the face, when you turn into landscape mode. You can then thumb thru the cd icons and tap-select the one you want. It then rolls to the left of screen and the song list appears to the right. Have you seen this on the Galaxy S?? What is that feature called??
also... I have checked the Samsung apps and no mention there of Daily Briefing... Did you find it there?? Cause I can't spot it.
Hi everyone...
I am brand new here! After being an iPhone guy for years I am finally considering making the switch to Android by getting a Samsung S8.
I have been lucky enough to get a free Samsung S6 to give me a taste of Android before I make my decision, and I was pretty much sold when I found I could set up multiple images to run as a slideshow on the lock screen, so that (basically) every time I turned the screen on it would display a different image (a series of movie posters, in my case).
However, when Googling to confirm that this was still possible on S8, apparently the ability to do this has been removed (??). Is anyone able to confirm whether this can still be done, as it was the one feature that had pretty much sold me on switching.
I have found an app (Multipicture Live Wallpaper) that kinda does this, but its clunky and it changes the homescreen background also. I also worry that it might deplete the battery a little too much. Has anyone had experience with using this app on an S8?
Otherwise... are there are any other apps out there that would achieve what I am after on an S8?
Thanks in advance!

Smart wallpaper lets you set wallpapers for every day of the week. Make sure you move the app to your internal storage otherwise the wallpaper occasionally disappears.
