VoLTE not working - Xiaomi Redmi 3s Questions & Answers

Is there any hardware issue which may lead to inactivity of VoLTE on sim slot 2 and inactivity of mobile data on sim slot 1? Mobile data and VoLTE won't work on sim slot 1 and when I switch to sim slot 2 VoLTE won't work. I have tried using a different sim card in my phone to get the same results. Whereas the previous sim is working fine in another phone. Please look into it.

No data on 2nd SIM card

Hi all,
Does anybody have a problem with data on the second SIM?
You can choose on which SIM you want to use data.
It works on SIM 1 but doesn't on SIM 2.
APN settings are 100% correct.
I have tested the SIM in another phone and data works there.
I've now ordered a nano-SIM to micro-SIM adapter from ebay to test it in the SIM 1 slot.
Quite annoying.
Maybe bcause sim 2 slot works only in 2g

Dual Sim

When i have 2 sim in the phone only one work in 4g,3g ( sim with data mobile) second with voice work only in 2g mode. I try to change the slot and nothing. When i have only 1 sim all is ok, but is normal ? Only sim with data mobile active work in 4g,3g and second sim only in 2g mode ?
yes all dual sim phones work that way 1 slot for 4g-3g-gsm and the other only gsm but at least u can select from menu wich sim for 4g

SIM slots

Hi guys!
I've just oredered my ze520kl and i was looking for informations about SIM slots configuration.
From the ASUS site:
Dual SIM card
SIM 1: 2G/3G/4G Micro SIM Card
SIM 2: 2G/3G/4G Nano SIM Card
Dual SIM Dual Standby
Only use the nano SIM card or the microSD card at a time
Both SIM card slots support 3G WCDMA/ 4G LTE network band. But only one SIM card can connect to 3G WCDMA/ 4G LTE service at a time.
So, SIM1 slot is for micro SIM and SIM2 slot is for nano SIM. Which SIM shall I use for data connection? SIM1 or SIM2?
With Zenfone 2 i could only use SIM1 for data connection.
Thanks,
TooMAX
Hi, you can choose any of two SIM for data, but only one at the time. Means that both has call reception but only one with data connection.

Samsung A7 Dual SIM issues after OS upgrade to Mashmallow

I just upgraded my SM-A700FD to Android 6.0.1 and had trouble with Dual SIM operations.
My SIM 1 is on LTE data whereas SIM 2 has no data. Whenever I make a call on SIM 2 (incoming or outgoing) my data connection on SIM 1 is lost. I have enabled Dual SIM Always On in SIMCard Manager under Setting.
I tried in Safe Mode and still the same. Does anyone has the same issue? This seriously render the Dual SIM phone unusable.
The SIM Card Manager also force SIM 2 to 2G if SIM 1 is set to LTE/3G/2G (Autoconnect), even though my SIM 2 is on 3G network but using only voice and text.
When I am using data on SIM 1 to browse or running Apps, I can receive SMS text on SIM 2 without interrupting SIM 1 data, but as soon a voice call is established on SIM 2 the data on SIM 1 is lost.
Would appreciate it if anyone can help.
Thanks!

If you use two sims together, the secondary (non-data) sim only supports 2G networks so, if neither sim has 2G support, only one will work at a time.
