I am a newbie with these android head units.
I don't like the original ROM and I like to change it to one more fast.
I have a 8227L android 9 2gb ram unit and i use it only for waze and spotify.
Anyone please help me?

These Chinese Headunits rarely give updates. If its running fine, don't mess up with the settings/change. Just install another launcher like
CarWebGuru or
AGAMA or
FCC
What can I do with my device to get the best out of it? What do you recommend bros? How to root this particular device?

Hello Everyone.
I need help identify my headunit if it is based on software that other headunits use, so I can get better support for the built in radio apps etc in launchers like FCC.
The headunit is a custom build unit for the Ford FG Falcon by Kayhan Audio. I think I've seen photos of the same apps on other units on google so I assume Kayhan has used a generic unit to build on. This is my first android headunit so I don't recognize anything.
I have attached some screenshots of apps and the settings about menu, hopefully this will allow someone to identify it for me.

It looks like it could be an allwinner head unit. Do a search for MCU version which should be a forum showing all MCU version manufacturers.

hi friends, i changed my stereo in the car, before i had an mctd and i had no problem changing android, but now i read this model and i see that no one develops, why? can i change mcu? what exactly is this mcu?
I would like to change android, now I have 9 but the rom I don't like what do you recommend?

In response to your questions: these are an obscure model for which there isn't any active development. They're also really buggy.
Have a think about buying a MTCD and being happy with the bugs, replacing with a certified Android Auto head unit or developing your own ROM.

Get rid of it. Unless it is an MTCx unit, there is little point in investing time or money.
Hi Mates, I am looking for by a Android HU for my Car. After studding a lot, seems that that best options are the ones that uses as base PX5 or PX6 SoCs.. (not sure)..
I am not addicted in music, BUT, I like to have mine Android apps installed in the HU with a very stability as fluid...
I was checking the Ownie K5 or K6...however they do not send to Brazil =/
Could you please advise which model actually you guys would buy based on these specs? I am looking for something between USD 200-300...

Hi guys im thinking of buying a new android headunit for my Astra GTC and came across this one TEYES TPRO i really like the way this unit UI looks and everything but it doesent have an external microphone port and no Carplay i have spoken to the seller if they planing to upgrade that unit but they dont .
Question is if i buy a diffrent unit can i flash TEYES T PRO firmware into it ? If not can i replace all the apps and launchers to make the UI look same ?TESLA UNIT
I literally spend whole day reaserching the internet and coulndt find much informations about any new launchers or diffrent softwares for these units .
I previously been using a PX5 unit and there was plenty of diffrent softwares etc .
Could anyone please point me in the right direction ? Would really appreciate that thanks in advance .
Hey all I just purchased a 2012 mazda 6 from a Chinese couple. The car came with an aftermarket android head unit, the couple changed the unit language to English for me. It had a Tlink app that could be used through Bluetooth for apple car play and a few other handy apps but there were still a lot of Chinese apps and settings on there. I regrettably hit the factory reset thinking it would revert back to an English running system but instead reverted to all Chinese and also uninstalled most of the handy apps. To make matters worse I now can’t even pair my ph through Bluetooth anymore. I don’t know anything about android and I’m hoping someone can help me out with getting the unit back up to scratch(installing apps such as Tlink, google chrome, user interface, software updates,etc) It has 4gb ram and 64gb storage I don’t know much else about it
I’m also not familiar with android at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
