Which G6 model works (or can be ROM-flashed to work) on all 4 major US networks?
Unless I'm mistaken, the US997 will work on 3 of the 4 networks, but not Sprint. And from what I've heard, you have to use a stock LS993 for Sprint, because flashing a US997 to a LS993 either won't work on Sprint, or Sprint won't approve it for their network (even though the hardware is the same.) If that's true (and I'm not positive that it is), would it feasible to start with a LS993 instead, then flash that to a US997 should I want to use it on the other 3 networks?
Thanks.

Hello Guys,
What's up? I was wondering if I could buy a sprint LG G2 and can use it for my ATT carrier with unofficial unlock. Pls let me know everything works on sprint LG G2! (4G, ESN etc) Thanks in advance.
Even if Sprint "officially" unlocks your LG G2, it won't work with domestic GSM carriers like AT&T or TMobile. It will work unlocked with international SIM cards and international networks.
So, no.
Hello,
I recently received an LG G6 model # US997 and have been trying to activate it on Sprint.
Sprint Customer Service and retail employees are unable to add the IMEI to their system/inventory.
I've been told even though the phone supports the Sprint LTE, band 25 it will not work on the Sprint network.
My questions:
-Is this true or just a lie so they don't have to deal with a technical issue?
-Would swapping the modem stack allow me to activate on Sprint or no?
-Do I have any course of action or do I have a beautiful paperweight?
Thanks for the help!
Hi
Recently my LG 20 VS995 was die and now is not detect it as it did before ... in mode QDL9008, well .. this equipment was a refurbish equipment and I want think was a defecting phone and well the question for now is
Which is the best model variant of LG V20 ? ... VS995, H990,LS996,US996,H910, etc ?
...I am considering the possibility of acquiring a new equipment after having had a phone like this
Thanks
for me it was a toss up between the H918 and the US996 ... because I had a VS995 but on TMobile service it was horrible.. and it looks like the US996 has almost all of the bands.. but I went with the H918 because I knew it would have Wifi Calling baked in plus ALL of the bands for T-Mobile Service..
I've had this thing since early winter, and at first verizon thought it would work. I've even had it log onto verizon towers (via looking at phone info in settings) before
I know the radios for CDMA are missing, but the LTE bands are there. Verizon does NOT REQUIRE phones to support CDMA anymore. Why can't we make the h918 work/register properly on verizon? Yes, it is unlocked.
I'm very interested in this as well.
I have a H918 LG V20, I travel internationally and I use this phone with all SIM cards... But why doesn't it work with a Verizon SIM card?
I have problems with AT&T also for some reason.
I've had previous Android devices like the LG G5 variant and that worked fine on Verizon, AT&T, and Internationally.

I don't use Verizon, but here's my guess:
For calls and SMS to work on a carrier on LTE only, you'll need VoLTE support. And at least for the major U.S. carriers, they each decide through some sort of certification which phones are allowed to get VoLTE. This will be more important in a few years when all the carriers go LTE-only after dropping all 2G/3G/CDMA networks. Currently on Verizon, if a phone can't get VoLTE, it would rely on CDMA for calls and text messages. Since the H918 isn't whitelisted for VoLTE and doesn't have CDMA bands, it won't work properly on Verizon's network. It can only get VoLTE on the T-Mobile network in the U.S.
I have the model V350ULM purchased from bhphotovideo. According to them this is the unlocked version that works on all 3 US networks including Verizon. Is this the same as the Amazon version except for the fact that the Amazon version has more bloatware?
The AT&T version V350AWM I believe is GSM only and would not work on Verizon, correct?
Is it fair to say that the ULM version is "better" than the AWM version since the ULM can work on Verizon? Or is there a way to root and load a custom rom on the ULM version so that the AT&T version also works on Verizon?
Reason for asking is that I am getting ready to sell the ULM model on ebay and want to be honest and accurate in the listing and description.
I think all of my V35 were AT&T version and I flashed the ULM software on all of them. Recently I tried both Verizon and Sprint sims in one of them. Verizon worked fine but that may be because Verizon has mostly moved away from CDMA. When I tried a working Sprint sim card in it, it did restart and adapted to it showing MEID number, other CDMA settings, and it also automatically put in APN settings as well. I can't be sure if this is the function of ULM software that it did that or it actually has CDMA bands but my hunch is that similar to Samsung (they started with Note 8 and may be even earlier) starting with LG V30, LG is also making just one hardware unit and using software (KDZ) to set it for different regions and carriers.
To help answer your actual question, I can confirm that it will work on Verizon and it should work on Sprint but in Sprint's case you will actually have to request that it's ESN be added to some list through Sprint customer service which it seems is a headache. If you or anyone wanted detailed information about this and how to convert an AWM unit to a ULM one, check out this thread, particularly post #6 and also thank the author of the guide while there:
