Hi, my zenfone 5 stopped working got bricked, went to install another ROM and gave E: failed to mount, already tried by ADB sideloader, Asus Flash Tool and Fastboot. nothing worked anyone else knows how to repair it? My Zenfone are Locked and can't install other Recovery (TWRP) or anything that is not original.
My zenfone 5 model is (A501CG)

When I tried to flash twrp on my realme 2 pro device with the help of amd a6 processor it shows the command 'write to device failed (invalid arguement)'....help me to fix this
i'm getting Failed to mount '/persist' (Invalid argument) in twrp and orangefox recovery. how to fix it?
UPDATE. fixed it by flashing persist.img from a QFIL firmware. i will attach the img for asus zenfone max pro m1 (X00TD) in the replay. if you are having the same issue with other phones. you could find QFIL firmware for your device and get the persist.img from it, anyway proceed at your own risk. DO NOT FLASH THE IMAGE FROM WRONG DEVICE
here is the persist file i had luck with. only for ASUS ZENFONE MAX PRO M1 (X00TD)
use adb command
fastboot flash persist persist_ASUS_ZENFONE_MAX_PRO_M1_X00TD.img
as usual proceed at your own risk. i'm not responsible for any bricked phones, or i dont own the file that i attached below.
