Hi i am from spain and bought an s6 edge+ that came with an NEE rom...I know in spain with PHE there is samsung pay but i wonder if can make it work without changing the rom.I have installed the samsung pay and samsung pay framework fron apkmirror but after it scans the fingerprint it throws me an error and can not coninue.Says use finger print push it and error....Thanks a lot.
HI i just bought galaxy a5 2017 duos model.
I expected it to have samsungpay, but it is not preinstalled and i can't seem to download it.
it has nfc chip so i am guessing it should support it.
perhaps it's because of the firmware's country stetting.
I found out that it has pakistan firmware installed.
does anyone have a5 2017 dual sim verion which has samsung pay enabled?
if so, would i be able to get samsung pay to work by flashing different country's firmware?
i checked smamobile and there was austrlaian version firmware available, which is perfect as i am in australia and bought the phone form grey import supplier.
does anyone know it is safe to flash SM-A520F firmware onto A520F ds version? i couldnt find ds spesific firmware on sammobile.

I'm using A5 2017 DS version as well and no Samsung pay installed also.
I guess it's only installed based on region which have Samsung pay services running on those selected country
Yeah it works fine flashing the Australian rom. I'm with Telstra so went with that one and Samsung pay is enabled. You also get VoLTE with Telstra.
My phone had the UAE firmware on it originally. Dual SIM function is still there too, not that I use that though.
so for those who got their S8 UNLOCKED from ebay\amazon..etc there is a chance that you might have got the version of the S8 of a country that doesn't support it yet, thus it will not work on your phone, for e.g. (AFG- Afghanistan, EGY- Egypt...etc).
So to solve this issue we need to flash the firmware of a country that has SAMSUNG PAY working on an EXYNOS device (G950F, G950FD).
Last year that fixed the issue for me on my S7 Edge G935F.
An example of a country firmaware that have Samsung Pay working is XSG - UAE
So if someone can provide us with the firmware files for both G950F and G950FD , that will be so much of help for many of us.
Also we need ODIN that works for the S8.

Are you sure that flashing the rom of specific country will make samsung pay work on S8 or S8 Plus
I have an Exynos S8 Plus SMG955FD which was bought in Nepal but there was no pre installed samsung pay as it has not launched its service for S-Pay in Nepal.
If i flash the indian firmware for Exyons S8 Plus on the same Nepal Device as becasue In india now it S-pay service is launched and supported.
Will this work ? 100 %
Both Indian And Nepal device are same model SM G955FD and both country support carries of both countries as well. Only the CSC code is different i.e. India - G955FXXU1AQE5 & Nepal - G955FXXU1AQDG
Since almost all the international S8/S8+s are on the multi CSC ROM, all you need to do is find a SIM from one of the SPAY supported countries (India, Singapore, UAE, UK works) and reset your phone (preferably from the recovery menu) and put in the SIM and reboot. All the regional features are activated, and you get SPAY to work even after changing your SIMs.
I am currently using the India SPAY and it works with all cards (Chase, Amex, Citi are what I have checked). Of course you won't get Samsung rewards since its a program only available in US.
tl;dr No need to flash ROMs. Only reset required.

I'll try this but will this make Samsung Pay work for only that region? I.e. if I use an Indian SIM will it activate the Indian version of Samsung Pay or can I use the US version which has rewards

When i order my phone on amazon, it was on a french rom. (XEF)
I was able to use SpO2 and stress tracker, but when i did the update to oreo. A message appear "you can't use this feature on your phone"
I was wondering why, and after contacting samsung health app support , they told me that it's because in my region, stress tracker is not authorized by the autorities due to some restrictions.
Knowing that, i tried to flash official rom of England and Germania :

I don't understand why it dont change, i don't take HOME_CSC but CSC so it hard reset my phone each time i did the flash, so why i don't pass to DBT or BTU ? i don't understand..

hello guys.i have a samsung j5 2017 phone that I updated on android pie.Unfortunately the software for Romania on samfirmware is for Bulgaria, although it is multi-csc.I have tried to keep up with the one It always enter bulgaria.of this cause i can't use volte and wowifi.i don't want root or custom rom.can anyone edit firmware and delete bulgaria and other files and leave only those in romania?
