Thinking of buying this phone but couldn't find anywhere, anything mentioning the call quality. I know it's not a deal breaker but an informed decision always beats a whim. So, if anyone could share their experience and maybe give a rated comparison that would much appreciated. Thanks for your help on this guys.

Call quality on this phone is actually excellent. Loud and very clear. Also, the stereo speakers are pretty amazing.
Pretty good. Loud, clear. HD voice calls are excellent. 5/5

When VoLTE on both call members used, quality is best what I listened. Very clear sound.
poor wifi
The best part of half of the people I speak with regularly have commented about voice quality since I switched from an LG G4, even though they didn't know I'd changed 'phones. Most asked if I'd changed mobile carriers, one saying they thought I was in a studio because they couldn't hear the usual whir of server fans in the background. Certainly can't complain about the voice quality (and noise suppression)!
On 3G and 4G quality is amazing.
Specially the person on the other side of the line has no trouble at all hearing me even though I'm in a noisy and windy place.
so far so good
hurts ears at full volume! Brilliant reception too.!
great

No, Iam from Europe O2(Czech republic). VoLTE is default on in Settings/wireless and network/Mobile network/VoLTE. This setting must be supported by operator. Some operators have VoWifi too.

Hi guys,
Just got my OP6 yesterday. It's really a beast.
I'm coming from iPhone 7. The microphone it's a little bit better than on iPhone 7, but on my endpoint, the sound that i get on earpiece speaker has somehow less quality. It's kind of bottomed and fuzzy. The volume it's perfect. I am using max-2 positions.
I even tested my colleagues Nexux5 and it's earpiece speaker it's somehow better.
Has anyone encountered this issue? It's a common thing or just my unit?
Please release an update that makes the sound from earpiece speaker much clear.
Thanks,
Andrei Musat
Tested on T-Mobile USA, call quality excellent.
OnePlus 6 does VoLTE and VoWiFi (IMS Wi-Fi Calling), and it uses EVS codec for HD Voice where supported.

On metro PCS and same thing. HD voice is incredible. As is VoWIFI. The Earpiece could get louder, but I'm coming from a Moto x pure 2015 with dual stereo speakers that got plenty loud.
Eh...
It's a different story on my end.
The call quality is incredible when I am speaking to someone on another cell... Landline calls however, are not up to par. They are quite low on the volume. My device's in call volume is at max, and yet I hear the other caller as if the volume was only on a level of 4/10 or 5/10. This issue is the same result, regardless of who I speak to... Unless they are also on a cellphone. Is this is bug, glitch, etc? How can I fix this? Can I fix this?

For me the call quality is an unbelievable improvement over the OP5. I was constantly having calls disconnect, or people could only get my voicemail. Clarity is so good and people can hear me way better than when I used the OP5
Dealing with the issue where people frequently ask me to speak louder or that they can barely hear me. Seems to occur regardless of OOS/LOS/xxx ROMs.

call quality is good when we have good network coverage.
Since the latest update to the Honor 10 B104 the call quality is a lot better now.
How is the call quality compared to the OnePlus 6. Is it good even when signal is low
no problems with the call quality in low signal areas
I haven't had any issues with the call quality but has anyone else noticed that you can feel the back vibrating when on a call as if the speaker is touching something?

Would you recommend the Honor 10 to someone with a hearing loss? So far, I haven't found any information about the sound quality for the person with the Honor 10. This could potentially be a dealbreaker when buying a phone
I have no problem with call quality on the Honor 10 I'm now using version 146
Voice call not very clear. Have to use speaker. What happen to honor 10?
Quick question, I had the P20 and took it back because I didn't like the fact that I was forced to the same ringtone for messages and email. Is this the same issue with the H10? Overall are you able to set a custom ringtone for messages and then a different one for email?
Call quality is really good. The audio sounds really good for phone calls and hangouts calls.

ok, no one cares. you clearly don't own the phone in the first place and you're just spamming the threads with non sense. I'm looking to buy the phone and looking for a legit answer from a legit owner. Post proof that you own the phone or stop spamming negatives all over
Poor
Medium. Not bad, but not good either. Let's say 5 out of 10.
Surprisingly good enough.
Great. More than expected. No complaints from anyone till now and calls are crisp for me as earpiece isnof high quality.
It is fine. What service you use also matters. Like voip vs using signals from cell tower. Voip is going to be better. Same goes for whatsapp.
Calling fails......
This is the worst thing that is happening in samsung phone . when you call someone it takes about 10sec to take you to the calling screen and after that it sometimes takes 10 more sec to ring. This thing bugs me the whole time. I give 1 out of 10 rating for this call quality. If you have read the above replies , then let me clearly say that iam not the owner of samsung but i request him to make the quality better. If anyone face this problem please reply so that the company makes quick actions against this problem.
Is there any roms that have video calling added? Thanks in advance
I had low quality of call, poor and crispy.
Do you have any solution?
the phone never beat or break its on perfect conditions!
help me please

Call quality over Wi-Fi on fiber is Outstanding !
I have a moth-old issue with WA/Hangout video and audio calls, thru WiFi, when BT is enabled.
Very poor quality of video chats when using the WiFi connection, in fact it seems like Hangout/WA viedo/audio makes a small pause every 3/4 seconds, that is very disappointing.
It seems that Andorid 10 is a bit better than Andorid 9, but the "disabling BT" workaround does not work anymore in Android 10 and the the nasty "pause" remains there.
This is the post in the support forum, about this issue:
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/moto-g...ality-Moto-G8-Plus/m-p/5023887?page=4#5173977
There are alto threads about the wifi/BT interaction problems, and it seems very disappointing for me that Motorola has not fixed this base functionality. Not being able to have a decent Videochat thru Wifi in 2020 with modern phone is IMHO unacceptable.
https://forums.lenovo.com/searchpage/tab/posts?fid=2893&q=wifi+problem
Has anyone found a solution workorund, are there any fix/custom ROM withour this issue?
It looks like they are trying only to make me wait for a "never coming" solution , perhaps you can also report in these threads...
Regards
