Bluetooth stuttering - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Hi,
my Bluetooth audio stutters every time any type of object comes into between the phone and headset (I've tried different ones)...it can be from a wall to my own body...
Anyone is experiencing that and knows how to fix. I'm currently on OOS 9.0.16
Thanks.

[Q] Bluetooth Call Audio Problem

I'm having issues with my car's bluetooth connection and my S4. They pair ok, but after about 10 seconds, the Call Audio checkbox in the bluetooth settings on the phone unchecks itself. I have the OEM bluetooth adapter for my Nissan 350Z which is a pretty basic affair - no address book downloading or media audio, just call audio.
I vaguely remembering having a similar issue a couple of years ago with my Galaxy S2 but everything I've tried so far doesn't appear to have helped...
Maybe someone else has had a similar issue and found a workaround?

Bluetooth audio issue

Hi,
Has anyone had any issues after connecting to some bluetooth audio devices where it shows paired but audio plays out the phone loudspeaker and not the bluetooth device?
The issue can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting to said bluetooth device but it can be very frustrating or dangerous if driving. I've had it happen with a JBL Charge 2+, Logitech bluetooth receiver, and my car.
I'm wondering if anyone has been having or seen the same issue and if anyone might know how to resolve this.
Note: Running stock 7.0 on 5.2" zenfone 3.
Thanks in advance.

[SOLVED] Bluetooth multimedia audio issue

Hi there, i got OP5 with latest OOS 4.5.13, blu_spark kernel 4.4.21 and blu_spark twrp 3.3.1
experiencing a strange behaviour with blurtooth of my car. Pairing works perfectly and connection works without problems. Calls audio working perfectly but the other multimedia audio from the phone doesn't work. No audio from the car stereo.Already tried re-pairing several times, clearing bluetooth cache and data and clearing data cache from recovery without result. In the bluetooth settings i have all 3 checkboxes on (multimedia audio, call audio, contact list). Eveything working good with other bluetooth devices (i.e. deewear fly dark headsets)
anyone else experienced a similar problem? is there a workaround to fix it?
tia,
simone
after many tries deleting and re-pairing, bluetooth in my car magically started to work. Don't ask me why..
I have this problem all the time with my BT earphones. It'll "pair," but without multimedia audio. I just turn it off and on and it usually fixes. I've been blaming my BT earphones, as I've never had this problem with my Beats Studio BT headphones.

Bluetooth Issues since Oreo

Seems like every phone I have owned that android has had Bluetooth issues. But not my S8 Plus, not until Oreo at least.
Since Oreo bluetooth just randomly drops audio for a few seconds here and there when connected to my car stereo and though its told to NOT work for phone audio when I get phone calls it goes ahead and connects to the radio for Call Audio anyway.
anyone else seen weirdness like this?

Problem with Bluetooth audio in the car

When I connect the smartphone with the car via Bluetooth, the music is just intermittent suonds. How do I fix this?
I would like to know this too, anyone?
I started having this same issue after the last/first Tmobile update, before it was fine.
Same thing here. The music would either play through the phone's earpiece or sound like a call playing through the Bluetooth speaker. I read YouMail was a cause so I uninstalled and it still happened I force closed the phone app and it worked normally after that. The issue may definitely be from the T-Mobile update tho.
Yeah been having an issue with volume fading after initial connection, drives me nuts since I use the phone for GPS and music streaming. so I use the v30 for bt music and OnePlus for gps
I'm having an issue with the phone trying to automatically connect to a second Bluetooth device and begin playing music on it. This happened tonight while following behind my wife's car.
Every time we stopped at a light it would connect and I would loose audio in my vehicle and play in hers. No way to stop it connecting other than forget the device or turn off all the functions in that device settings.

I have the T-Mobile 6T and I have this same issue.
It seemed like the previous update fixed it, and was broken by the current update. Anyone know if the international rom has the same problem?

I have converted my TMobile 6t to international and those bugs are fixed.

I'll be updating this on the weekend. Nothing worse than having the beat drop to have the volume drop...

Bluetooth nightmare
I've been having the same issue since I bought my T-Mobile 6T last year and am pulling out my hair trying to figure out how to fix it. I have a "GTA Car Kit" Bluetooth module installed in my '06 Mazda 3 and I use Android Auto with my phone docked in a CD slot mount to give me hands-free text messaging, navigation and music / audiobooks. My phone is also always connected to my android wear watch, so it's technically connected to two Bluetooth devices at once when I use it.
The problem is that audio playback via Pandora, Google Music and my audiobook app that plays on-device mp3's intermittently stutters or skips. It happens immediately sometimes, other times it will work perfectly for half of my commute and then start stuttering every few seconds until I finally just turn off the music/audiobook completely.
I've tried:
Turning bluetooth on and off
Turning my car radio on and off
Changing the developer mode settings for Bluetooth AVRCP Version, Codec, Sample Rate, Playback quality etc.
Clearing storage/cache for Bluetooth
Switching to the international version ROM for the device
Once I got the Oxygen OS v10 update I really though the problem was fixed, but after a few days of working fine it started skipping again.
Does anyone have any idea what's causing this or other things I can try?
[EDIT] I found one more new thing to try on the OnePlus 6T forums https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/bluetooth-stuttering-solved.1076196/
I'll give this a try and report back
