I've had nothing but issues with Android auto on my 2019 VW Tiguan and now it just flat out refuses to work.
Only had the car for about a month and AA worked with spotty results for that entire time. It would randomly disconnect on the head unit and I'd have to reconnect it. The other day I decided to do some troubleshooting, reinstalled and now it doesn't work at all.
Tried new cables, different USB ports and even tried my wife's S10. Both now give me the same result. I tried it again today, it turns AA on my phone but when I click the apps screen on the radio it tries to pass it to the radio, gives me a data permission popup on my screen but then gives me a read error on the radio. It keeps looping and trying to reconnect. I actually tried doing it on some rental cars I was driving a few weeks ago, wouldn't work either on those at all. I've attached the screenshot of the popup that comes up and also what my radio displays. It also displays that for my wife and her phone is bone stock and no customizations.
Any tricks to get this dumb thing to work?

My phone is a Cubot One running MIUI 4.8.29 custom ROM v6. One day, my WiFi spontaneously ceased to work. I thought it was a temporary glitch, so I rebooted. It worked again. Then, it spontaneously ceased to work AGAIN. since then, it had just been off and when I try to turn it on, it just greys out for a few seconds and switches off again. The same thing happens to my Bluetooth. However, twice, randomly, about 4 months ago and 6 months ago, it notifies me of possible WiFi networks. It stays like this for a couple of hours, then returns to the aforementioned state. I have tried a full reset several times with the stock ROM and others to no avail. I've been using mobile data since then. I don't know how this has happened and I am wondering if the altered build properties of the custom ROM have anything to do with it. The WiFi-pertinent ones are attached. Please help - not having Bluetooth or WiFi prevents me from selling the phone. Thanks all!

Hello, I have a problem with my android car unit that it's driving me crazy. I bought this unit 6 months ago (aliexpress . com/item/Two-Din-Android-7-1-1-7-Inch-Car-DVD-Player-For-Mercedes-Benz-W209-W203/32554899913.html(I'm not able to put links)) and it work well until a some weeks ago. It started to slow down and to restart randomly. I decided to investigate to see what could be happening and I saw that now I only have 1GB of ram instead of two. I don't know if any of you had this problem before or has any idea how to solve it.
I would like to try anything before sending it back to China
Regards
UPDATE
So, today going back from work I noticed that the radio started up faster than I used to this last week, and when I went to settings -> ram I see that I got my 2GB back! Sadly after a while the radio crashed, all the buttons stopped working, the screen was white but the music that continue as if nothing happened. After I force the reboot I see that I still have my 2GB. I think defenitivly it's a problem related to the RAM or MCU.
I taked a couple of pictures of the version that I have, here they are:

Hi, I recently bought a shattered Galaxy S7 Edge from facebook marketplace for $45..
Long story, short. When setting it up i noticed it would not let me connect to wifi, anyways i finally got to the home screen and data 4G lte works fine from my SIM card data, but i can not get the wifi to turn on nor the bluetooth to turn on.. it just switches back to off and a circle spins. in the screenshot it shows the spinning circle on wifi and the greyed out bar on bluetooth (from trying to switch on that wont work)

EDIT: So i want to know if there is any like modem file or what not i can try to flash via open to reinstall the "drivers" for the wifi/bluetooth, if that make sense? Or what do i do? Thanks in advance
I suggest you to install this [Rom][VZW_CRI1][Stock_Oreo_PreRooted_Easy_Unroot/Root][Safestrap_Preinstalled] and then unroot (tuto is in there too)
that way you will have flashed stock firmware, which will problbly solve your issue. And then jrkruse rom, which is great. You will end with a perfectly working, debloated phone
Hello, I`ve had this head unit for a couple of years now, it reports it`s on Android 6.1 I believe.
I only have one problem with it, the GPS sometimes takes 10 minutes or more to lock on, sometimes less than a minute?, all the wiring is ok and once its locked in it will be fine (300 mile trips etc).
I think this has been a recent ish issue, can`t remember it doing it last year.
I have read quite a few threads, one mentions removing Google Play Services?, would this apply to mine even though it eventually finds the GPS location and then has no further trouble?. To be honest I do use the Play Store occasionally so would like to keep it if possible.
It takes 30 seconds to boot so presume it is doing a full cold boot every time, is there a program that will remember the last state of GPS to make it quicker to lock on or does it do this automatically anyway?.
We use Co-Pilot Sat Nav at the moment , but it doesn`t seem to matter which app.
Ideally I would like to keep it as a standalone unit, it connects to home WiFi but we don`t have WiFi on the move normally.
Any help appreciated.

Hi everyone,
My head unit started to not go into sleep mode anymore and would take 5 to 15 mins or even more to boot up. I tried all options in the engineering test mode setting. Sometimes it would freeze too.
I've tried doing a factory reset several times as well as re-flashing the firmware (tried two different) ones. I was told not to use the "computer paint brush" firmware, which I do not know what it means.
Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated. Thanks!
Is unit an MTCD type unit, post Android system information including MCU version

I believe it is MTCD.
It booted up this morning, but froze. Now it is stuck on the Android screen.
I put in the USB flash zip file on a stick connected to the USB port, but it does nothing. I think for these radios, you have to get it to boot up before it works.
