Freezes on boot animation for 10 secs then bootloops - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
So I've faced the bootloop of death a year ago on this device and applied the BLOD patch and everything went fine till now. I found my device bootlooping like it happened before but this time it passes the Google logo then starts the 4 circles animation but freezes after 5-10 seconds then bootloops and never reaches the animation again. I tried doing the bootloop fixes with stock ROMS (7.1.2 and 8.1.0) but nothing is working now. The TWRP is running fine so I believe the hardware is fine?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

[Q] Problem: Phone stuck at ROM Booting animation.

Hello everybody.
I am a Defy Red Lense user with a recently flashed PA 2.14 build (coming from 2.00 version of same ROM). At first 3-4 boots everything was ok, till I made some changes on phone config (namely enabling 16 bit transparency as recommended by it's maker, and then some small changes in Paranoid Android Settings) and asked me to reboot. Ok so I went to reboot and as usual, it booted me into bootmenu, and I chose "boot" and "2ndinit" as usual. After a odd bootloop (where the phone wouldn't go through the blue, then green LED sequence and would then reboot, show Moto logo boot animation, rinse and repeat, etc) that I ended by pressing vol - and entering, again, into bootmenu, I chose again boot and 2ndinit and then something really weird happened:
After almost half an hour i'm still stuck at the very ROM booting animation (the Paranoid Android one, no the Moto logo), just like the guys that tried that new kernel that were reporting 15+ min first boot times. As a clarification, my first boot with just flashed 2.14 took, at most, 5 minutes. And there is another odd vehaviour, concerning the PA boot animation: it gets randomly stuck for a few secs and continues as usual, with no looping from 0 just like the normal loopboot.
So here comes the questions:
- What is really happening? is it really booting or the phone is just stuck in ROM bootanimation? How long should I wait to consider shutting it down?
- Is there some way to get out of it/shutting it down without damaging the device? Can I just pull the battery off without bricking the device?
Looking fowardd for some theories behind this issue :good:
Well, seems like it was OK to unmount the battery while on ROM booting animation, since I haven't had mayor problems after doing so and rebooting. Now the phone works just fine.
Tho im still curious the reason behind this pseudo-bootloop. Thanks for reading anyways :good:

Infinite bootloop after oct 5 ota update

I'm on 7.0 (w/ twrp-3.0.2-2). Phone was all fine until the oct 5 update.[flashed via flashfire]
It turned off suddenly and then boot loops continuously even if I flash a fresh stock roms.
Never had such issues before.
I get to boot it back after a twrp restore but it randomly shuts down and continue to bootloop.
What might have gone wrong? Anyone has a solution?

Restart Problem

Hi guys,
Few days ago I tried to reflash the stock rom (8.0 & 9.0) but the phone got into bootloop.
Since then I tried everything and nothing helped it was booting upto the point that there's Android One logo and as I said it would bootloop, I don't know how but yestetday I managed somehow to get the phone to boot up but while I'm in setup the phone restarts over over, sometimes it's restsrting when I'm entering my name and sometimes in any other section (depends on the speed that I'm doing the setup...
Any ideas how to fix this issue ?

ZE551KL Z00TD stuck in recovery

I flashed Lineage OS 16 and after 4 days to a week my phone rebooted into TWRP and is stuck in that loop. I flashed a second time and the same thing happened. When it was functional, it would randomly freeze up, where I could see the notification bar but the rest of the screen would be blacked out and I would have to restart the device.
Any thoughts?

weird bootloop

I flashed a custom kernel recently on my phone that's compatible with Android 10 roms. After the reboot all seemed fine. I waited 30 minutes just like for any other custom kernel then I turned my screen on, the substratum theme I was using wasn't applied then my phone randomly reboot so I let it do so. After the reboot I turned it on immediately and it randomly reboot a few seconds later so I force reboot to recovery to reflash the kernel. It didn't work and now I'm stuck in bootloop so I prepared my phone for a clean flash and did so. After the clean flash Havoc booted up into setup wizard then about a minute into the setup my phone rebooted again(soft reboot) and it rebooted into the setup wizard with the progress from before already done. I gave it about an hour and it kept doing the same thing over and over again so I clean flashed a different rom this time thinking it would fix the issue but the same thing still happens, it's still happening till now and I can't think of any way to fix this
tl;dr
I flashed a custom kernel and I'm stuck with a weird kind of bootloop where it does boot but then restarts a minute later over and over
is there any way to fix this? And if so if I need to flash the fastboot rom can I do it without losing twrp and stuff so I can reinstall my cusrom?
