Photo quality - Huawei Mate 30 Pro Real Life Review

Say "cheese", then rate this thread to express how photos taken with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro come out. A higher rating indicates that photos offer rich color (without over-saturating), sharp detail (with all subjects in-focus), and appropriate exposure (with even lighting).
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

Here are my samples from Mate 30 PRO - i think it's great camera phone, much better than my older phones like P20 PRO, Samsung Galaxy S9+, LG V30 etc. Only night mode sucks a lot, produce very unnatural photos - good to see on mobile phone screen, not acceptable on big monitor.

Yeah, but I've always had issues with Huawei phones when I had to sideload Google services. I'm hoping that all of these bans are lifted and that Huawei will release an updated international version with Google services baked in. I was really hoping for a Mate 30 X though. ?

Good cam and good phone

Front Camera / Selfie Camera is bad at taking close up photo/portrait (>30cm). It is blurring my face & focusing on the background instead. Even I tried to tap no my face, it just didn't focus to my face at close distance. I have to take my phone further away (>50cm) to get a good detail on my face. Is this normal? Any workaround for this issue? Or am I the only one who have this issue?

Quality is awesome but sometimes in lowlight there's some pink tint in photos .. does anyone else get that?

Some of the pink tint I notice in photos I'll upload . I have the Chinese version , is this more than likely just camera software related?
https://drive.google.com/file/d/10fgW3dbEQ2qksmrebadkz4gX42OEcE2x/view?usp=drivesdk
Not all photos are like that just some lowlight ones.

I think Mate 30 Pro cameras are the best right now.

I hate software process tone too much. Shadow is too dark and lost detail. I need to +shadow in editor to fix it.
Is their permanent way to +shadow in every photo after shot?

Lol.. no one even remember or bother to talk about LG these days... poor almost like no update support plus bootlooping nightmare like no tomorrow...

Yeah, right...
just remember this: v50 murders mate 30 pro in every single aspect, photo, video, audio etc

Has anyone been able to do the video real life segmentation, what they also call multi-instance where you can change the background while recording videos?.

Your picture also reminded me how bad battery life that LG never grow up, even I couldn't find any picture comparison but I know how good LG photos are like and agreed LG can take good picture too, I had G2, 3, 4, 5, 6, v20 last gpad3 but when I changed to Huawei, I wondered how good long battery life can last me almost 2 days never worry to charge or carry second battery on the road, system stability and cooling control are obviously stronger, never feel hot after a long used... all and all... I had enough of LG specially my G4, G6 and gpad3 bootloop issues blown my head off, I then beat the pain so long to LG and never look back!

I'm getting 10-12 hours with pretty heavy usage.

I wa curious about your opinion and checked samples from V50 - i have 32" monitor, this is only objective way to give real opinion about photos. On smaller screen pictures from all phones looks almost the same, only colors are different. In my opinion LG V50 is not even close to Mate 30 PRO. This is the same camera like LG G8 - last amazing camera phone from LG was G5. LG camera generates blurry image without details, looks good when i resize window to 50% only. Of course You can try GCAM or RAW editing, but default app generate trash photos.

I don't know what samples did you downloaded, but I compared my V50 to P30 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, Note 10+, iphone 11 max, and Nokia pure view. I can tell you mate 30 pro and P30 pro looses to all the above phones. V50 is the winner in every single aspect compared to allnof those phones. However Nokia Pure View beat it in some tests, but not overall. Chinese products are still Chinese...

Unless you need a phone desperately, why not wait on the Mate 9? It`ll be out soon with supposedly a much better camera.
Fwiw, i passed on the 8 because of its camera and UI. Loved everything else though.

I think the camera is pretty good, for a pinhole camera. The problem a LOT of people have is they don't know how to take a photograph.
I don't care if it does have OIS, you still need to hold the device STILL. I've been a photographer for over 40 years. If you don't hold it still,
your photo will look like crap. Also, people will shoot into the light, blame the camera, shoot in dark light, blame the camera.
Also, first thing I do when I get a new phone, is DITCH the camera app and use Camera FV-5, which gives you more control over the photo.
People are quick to blame the phone/camera, when 1/2 the time, it's the person pushing the shutter that is the real problem.

I returned my G4 to Amazon after 7 months, it was already giving signs of bootloop... And I took a Mate 8 with the money... I want to be sincere, the phone is Awesome, above all the battery... But the media part is far from being comparable. The camera does below average quality photos during the day, but with low light You'll see a lot of noise... Plus the standard click and shoot sometimes fails to focus where you want... The video are better BUT if you film a concert the audio will be pure crap.

G4 camera is way ahead, unfortunately. That's not to say the Mate8's camera is really bad, but it's not as good as the one in the G4.
Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought the G4's photos were full of noise when you zoom in, and I'm really happy with the Mate 8's photos. I particularly appreciate the automatic sharpening that the Huawei does by taking multiple photos and combining the information. (You can see this happens when it says "sharpening photo, hold the camera steady". It takes about half a second, and it only happens in low light photos.)
The G4 also really bothered me in that it turned on its "beautify" setting all by itself, no matter how many times I turned it off. It made me look like a goddam barbie doll--any photo taken with that setting was worthless and had to be discarded.
On the other hand, I've never had a serious complaint about the Mate 8's camera.

Beauty filter on the Mate8 also auto-enables.
G4 camera simply is better, due to the larger sensor.
But as this is a Huawei thread only the positive things count I guess.
Hey mate 8 users, today i went to the shop but the mate 8 was out of juice, shop owner plugged the device in to the charger after 5 mins of charging device didn't turn on, this went on for 20 mins, after about 30 mins he could start it, soon as power came on i tried to check the camera, device powered down soon as i open the camera. is this normal?
ANyone?
A normal mate 8 works perfectly without any issues.

1) Thanks, didn't know that. My usage patterns must have changed. I didn't realize I stopped taking selfies with girls.
2) It may have a larger sensor size, but the firmware is inferior. See my comments about pixelation on the G4 versus multi-image sharpening on the Mate 8.
3) Only positive things count? Aren't I the only one that said anything negative about the LG G4 camera? The bias is on your side of the court, not mine. I suggest you don't go into data analysis.

P20 vs P10 portrait mode on
Below you can find a comparison on portrait mode quality between P20 and P10.
The photos where shot with portrait mode on and from distance of around 2meters. Same lighting conditions (basically shot in the same time).
The image is cropped a lot so you can see the difference in the detail level. Also the portrait mode recognized the face better and did a better job with the blur (cannot be seen in the sample).
I can also confirm that the low light performance is ... nigh and day difference. Overall, from my point of view, the camera upgrade is very much visible and worth it under most conditions.
with HDR on
Without tripod, night mode
Hi,
Posted this as a separate topic but no feedback so far, as this topic is specifically about the camera I'm looking forward to feedback here
I'm in the market for a new phone and really interested in the P20, it ticks a lot of boxes for me.
However the most important thing for me is the camera: I take a lot of pictures of my kids - often indoors
I went to 2 shops to test the phone and noticed that the pictures came out sharp but dark. The light grey carpet turned out dark grey in many instances.
Only when tapping on the screen (and focusing on the carpet) the brightness was increased but then the focus of the picture was on the carpet instead of the overall picture I wanted to take.
Also the pictures were sometimes not consistent, taking a couple of pictures in a row produced different results.
I tried switching on/off different settings but pictures remained quite dark.
The night mode really took a good picture but asking my kids to sit still for 4 seconds is nearly impossible*
Same thing for the P20 pro, pictures also turned out darker then irl.
The S9 was in the shop as well and this phone actually made everything a bit more bright then irl but the pictures seemed more pleasing.
Where I really had to focus on the picture to see what was in the darker parts in the P20's pictures, the S9's photo revealed all without effort.
Although a samsung user for a long time, I'm not attached to the brand, I was in fact really hoping to make a switch to another brand but the test pictures I took are putting me off a bit.
Anybody else experience this? Any advice on which combo of settings to try?
Cheers
B

i would say that p20 dont have OIS because there is only EIS in movies (there is a crop when recording 1080p video).
if you want a good camera i would choose the LG G6. my girlfriend bought it in the same time as i bought my p20. LG G6 is now cheap as hell, it has OIS, wide angle camea (it worth more than zoom in P20). and even that selfie camera has only 5Mpix in LG there is an autofocus (p20 dont have autofocus in selfie camera). photos from p20 are overexposed, green color is unnatural.
and LG G6 got few days ago Oreo and even that Snapdragon in LG is slower than Kirin the Andrid on LG is buttery smooth (P20 is not so smooth).
It DOES have OIS on both lenses, up to 108030fps, after that, at 108060fps it uses EIS and at 2160p it has zero IS.
Get your facts straight.

Hi @g_oral
I'we owned the LG G6 H870DS variant and I won't come back to LG too soon.
While all the other flagships received Oreo, the G6 was stuck on 7.0. And you know what is more frustating than that ? The annoying 7.0 bug in which the phone idle consumes more power than the screen on time ( which was resolved in 7.1 ).
Overall it was a great phone, but you cannot compare it to P20 which is a lot better than the G6 Also, camera performance was not stelar, I was not impressed.
P.S: G6 does not have autofocus on selfie camera, only HTC 10 does

Selfie camera does much better work in lg g6. The colora are better, not overexposed, you can tap the sceen for exposure balance.
I can say that p20 is not worth the money. I bought it because of the free bose headphones but without them p20 should have price of lg g6. Not more.
Camera is basically overhyped ..not better than even old s7 edge, pixel or HTC U11 unless you love over sharpening and oversaturation..Its worse mostly when you take photos of faces look like oil painting
I like the back camera. Can make some nice pictures that are good for making edits.
Night mode is also impressive.
Overall not disappointed.
Sent from my EML-L29 using XDA Labs
For me, the camera has given pretty good results, the sharpening is good, but in night mode is oversharpened, colors may be a little bit intense, not saturated. In video is a deception just for the stabilization (i fix that with Photos app) and the selfie is good with enough light and if you go to snapseed and use the brush tool with -0.3EV. To summarize, is a great camera if you can spend time fixing its tiny errors, but if you don't, it's just what you can expect from a high-end smartphone this days.
I have a Honor 10, and i would like to change for a P20. Because photos are important for me...But i'm not sure... my question is , Is there a big difference (in photo) between the Honor 10 and the P20 ? Somebody already tried the Honor 10 and the P20 ? I see a lot of comparaison on the web always with different results...
Many thanks guys

I quite like the camera. There are some things to consider though:
- Master AI goes crazy from time to time (too much color) but does really help in other situations (e.g. automatic bokeh effect)
- Even with Master AI turned off there are occasions where the lighting and / or the subject lead to strange effects. E.g. sometimes the hair of our dog looks like a painting when zooming a little bit into the picture.
- The image processing tends to oversharpen
Overall I would say the Pixel 2 and even the S9 take good photos more constantly but for me the combination of screen size, device size, camera quality and battery life is best on the Huawei P20. I hope that they improve the mentioned problems or that a good Pixel Camera app port arrives (not much hope as we have a different processor)

P20 Pro vs Pixel 2 XL...
I have both devices currently and from my very brief short time with the P20 pro , the pictures taken with it don't even come close to the quality you can get from the Pixel 2 XL.
Please tell me its just a case of faulty software, else I think I may be taking this phone back sadly.
Problems so far
Images lack any real detail and are very soft
HDR mode still hidden
Night Mode whilst great is still a 4 sec picture.. (but still soft ) - (The advantage you get from those 4 secs does not seem worth it from my quick test - but i'll keep testing)
Camera UI is rubbish... (subjective i know)
But it will be interesting to know if anyone else as similar experiences , as most reviewers online appear to suggest that this is the best camera phone ever!
---------- Post added at 09:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:40 AM ----------
Soft images.
Photo Quality
Have taken a few shots with the camera, the modes are the same pretty much as in the Mate 10 Pro so you have fully manual "Pro Mode" which shoots RAW plus a range of features including;
HDR
Light Painting
Monochrome
Aperture
Portrait
Night Shot
Panorama
The beauty mode is now a lot less aggressive on 0 setting and in portrait mode you can get some amazing detail and shallow depth of field.
The overall star is night shot which takes a 3 second long exposure which is fully stabilized and its like a super HDR setting which blows away the Mate 10 Pro I had before. Even using zoom (pinch to zoom on screen is enabled) the level of detail and depth is like using a dedicated camera.
I think with photography and equipment there is a large element of variation in the skill of the reviewers and unless you have both cameras in identical circumstances which is nigh on impossible, its difficult to be fair to compare. A lot of reviews I have seen go on about the AI not being perfect, which it isn't yet on any phone but its nice that this technology is developing to allow better shots for average Joe.
I normally use a full frame Sony Alpha and I can honestly say so far the image quality I am getting on the P20 Pro is the best of any phone I have used.
I cant comment on the XL but I have owned the Mate 10 Pro, Note 8, S8+ and IPhone 7 all recently and although these are all good phones with great cameras the shots I have got out of the P20 Pro so far have impressed me a lot more.
As a side note personally I would never use any of the AI modes except Night Shot, I never use the AI enabled render modes which is where many of the reviewers have had problems because its not a perfected science yet.
This is a good phone to benchmark the camera chops of the reviewer, those who can actually do anything more than point n shoot photos are taking amazing shots with this phone. I'm stunned how good a lot of the shots are.
It's the zoom that really makes this phone. You can extract detail from shots that no other phone (especially the pixel 2) could remotely pull off. You can frame a subject at 5x zoom and get a detailed shot whereas the pixel 2 would be a blurry mess.
Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
Disappointing
I'm also comparing shot for shot with the Pixel 2 XL and finding so far, apart from zoom, the P20 Pro is inferior to the Pixel 2. So far using only auto mode on both phones the Pixel shots are visibly superior, picking out more detail and producing better low light pictures. The only exception is the 5x zoom which is absolutely phenomenal on the P20. I've yet to try any night shots because it's been pretty much constant rain since the phone arrived. Considering the hype, I'm really disappointed in it. I know if I pull out the Pixel and grab a shot it's going to be good 99% of the time. I don't want to have to **** around with the settings every time I want to take a photo. Also the front facing camera is a joke. Even with beauty mode turned off, the image lacks detail and is ridiculously overexposed. The AI isn't particularly useful either - tried taking a photo of my dog in the garden and the AI went nuts flicking between the dog and greenery settings. There's a good camera in this phone but the Huawei processing is smothering it.
Huawei camera always more suitable for professional or those who love to play with settings. As a point and shoot I do see Samsung and pixel are capable of shooting better photos. But with a superior hardware I do believe there is nothing Huawei can't fix with a software update.

In P20 pro u use 40mp or 10mp supersampling resolution? Better stick to 10mp dude, and did it has an option to turn off the AI scene recognition? If have, turn it off.

The biggest problem I'm having is the wildly variable greens. Sometimes it will go nuts and make grass look like some kind of weird neon lit alien landscape then in the next shot, perfect. This happens with the AI on and off. Everything else is pretty close to natural, just doesn't seem able to handle grass.
Hello guys.. p20 pro camera is doing well but no perfect!! Im sure that will be an update as fast as possible... but the realy problem isnt the 40 mp camera but the selfie camera witch is 24mp and the quality is very low and some times selfi captures seems discolored!!
anyone else noticed that discolored?
Bad quality for the hardware that's inside. Terribly overprocessed images that looks very fake most of the time. Only way to bypass that is to shot in 40mp but that introduces heavy purple fringe. Someone at Huawei should get fired. Both my iPhone X and LG V10 gives me better images.

Not so bad I think. But I agree often color are overexposed, and I close the Ai suggestion to have better result especially in greenery

Well yes.
It's surprising that Huawei actually managed to load a Smartphone full of a Camera Sensor with 1/1.7" size 1.6 Aperature, OIS on all three cameras and still doesn't manage to make a simple non-progressed picture under daylight conditions that looks like a $50 phone from 2008. Most $100 China-Smartphones from 2017 do manage to make better-looking pictures.
I don't know who in their Software-Devision took drugs to actually **** up that bad but yes - it's purely software releated.
Most likey due to both cameras adding the picture in overlay mode even while shooting with the main-sensor without any after-processing would be more then plenty with that capable hardware.
Actually maybe that Aperature is the only drawback I'm seeing (lens-flare) where the S9+ has a hand over it but aside from that ...
And ****ing the Software so much up is actually a bad thing. I'd recommend anyone to wait a few months to see if they even mange to fix it - unless you're shooting RAW only in Manual Mode.
Maybe if we're lucky we'll see a ported Google Camera with HDR+ on it ...
Sight, that thing is a beast tamed with the worst software I've seen in a long time. Kinda reminding me of the LG when it was going back to down ...
If I were Huawei I'd fire my Software devision and pay Google to actually develop a working Software for them.
Manual Mode or not, there is a limit how stupidly broken you can make an Auto-Mode ... and calling that thing AI-Powered is even more funny.
Just look at the daylight samples of DXoMark ... it should have never gotten such high scores at all at its current stage (that's Huawei for you ...)

That guy had me at *wearing a Stratovarius t-shirt* lol
I recently bought a P20 and as a previous P10 owner, the front 24mp camera of the P20 is AWFUL. I will NOT sugar coat it but this thing has a very very bad front camera. It looks like an upscaled 5MP camera. Images are soft and overexposed. Dynamic range is pretty bad! Huawei just wanted to put a higher resolution since most China OEMs have 24MP cameras these days.
The 8mp f/1.9 front camera of the P10 is much clearer, sharper in ALL lighting conditions. I miss the feature wherein the front camera field of view will change if you are taking a group shot.
Youtube reviewers are too scared to criticize the front camera solely because Huawei have been sponsoring their flights and accommodation on their annual P series events.

I have both. I have tried every possible tweak to the video on the P30 Pro. The camera (for still photos) is much better on the P30 and I don't think anyone can argue differently. However, if video is important there simply isn't a competition. The S10 produced fantastic video and 4K on the front facing camera is nice as well. The P30 Pro has a very difficult time with lighting changes and it throws off color badly. There are times when panning to different scenes will completely change the color palette on the P30. What was brown becomes almost red and there is a lot of oversaturation at times. There is also some stutter to video at times. I have other complaints as well. I'd say if still photos are most important keep it. If the screen quality and video are high on your list the S10 blows it away on both levels. FYI... The microphone is also terrible on the P30 Pro. I use an external mic which solves it - but the built in mic on the S10 is far better.

That red tint which occurs on p30 pro while record videos is very bad...
U think its software thing?
If possible pls name pros and cons for its device.
Appreciate the help.
P30 Pro 256gb Aurora Power
P30 for still photos and for speed I think according to some benchmarks and for battery life according to some users,
S10 for video and screen and much much more refined and better UI really the one ui is amazing ,
Also frankly the s10 gets very good photos and the weak areas in the Samsung camera app is covered by the Gcam port :good:

Oh and stereo speakers on the s10 plus are excellent
Video is the dealbreaker for me. 30fps in 2019? Come on!
The Exynos version of the S10+ is capable of 8K 30 capture, for example!

If video is your priority it's pretty cut and dry. S10.

I had both of them at the same time and I took the same photos and videos at the same time.
I bought the p30 pro because I got convinced by "authoritative" websites and reviewers, luckily thanks to these I managed to sell it without losing too much money.
The dynamic range is poor, the indoor photos go yellow and the outdoor ones tend to purple, a clear blue sky becomes lilac, the ryyb sensor is not so bright, the photos are even darker than the s10plus, the night mode alters the scene and creates a lot of noise, the photos are too compressed.
The only good thing is the 5x zoom.
The gap on the videos is huge.
I understand fashion, I understand sponsorships and collaborations, I understand that youtubers need to make views but I felt cheated.
The p30pro has a good Huawey style camera but not yet like other competitors.
This is my experience.
The reviews of this device were different than the user experience. More so than usual I believe.

4K 150fps 10bit or 8K 30fps is what it's capable of according to Samsung. Of course (software) always dictates what the user experience is. Since the Exynos version will be rooted and soon after development starts, these hardware capabilities will be explored shortly thereafter. That's the chief reason why to pick the "underdog" so to speak.
What's the best place to get a P30 pro on a good deal?
I want to give it a try, if anyone is looking to offload one please let me know
Besides video recording here some advantages of the s10+:
-Better qhd screen
-Better UI
-Unlockable bootloader
-gcam ports
I have both and long story short, the perfect phone will be the front of the s10 including the screen design camera fingerprint and second speaker , the back of the p30 pro design color camera faster wireless charger and battery running oneUI powered by the sd855
Both are good. There are more negatives about the p30pro which can be easily specially yellowish photos can be fixed with snapseed ... that's the price to pay for if u want this marvelous night mode camera and zoom.
If making photos (low-light and possibly zoomed) is your primary focus --> P30+
For just about anything else --> S10+
I have the S10+ and the camera and zoom would be my only reason to switch to the P30+, but just about everything else is better on the S10+ I believe... screen, software, speakers, video.
Batterylife, I can only say I have no issues at all with the S10+ (though I DID specifically go for the 10+ for battery life) and can easily manage 1 day and with some minor effort I'd say 2. Not sure about the P30 Pro, though I heard it's great in that aspect.
The P30 Pro has been proven to phone home to Chinese servers. If you have to use a VPN or special hosts blocker on a phone for security concerns, then I'd never consider it in the first place.

There is no evidence of any links to Chinese servers, only the potential, and iOS and other Google phones have the same potential... Nor is there any evidence of a single piece of classified data being moved via Huawei, its just a bid by Trump and US to get a better trade deal with China, even last week Trump said that the ban on Huawei could be lifted as part of a new trade deal... so one can see its not a security issue but a business one. See here the quote from Trump https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/23/trump-huawei-trade-deal.html
USA is the only country where iPhone sales are strong, 47% use iPhones vs 16% globally. So with Huawei making big inroads (now no.2 after Samsung) Trump needed to protect that 47% (imagine if the iPhone user base in the USA fell by 30% odd..)

Yep and let's not forgot the $200 Huawei phones. I don't think there is anything in that price range that is as feature rich.

Not about specs.
Its about software updates and value of phone. I will personally go for s10+.
And in many countries (like mine - Singapore), shops do not accept huawei phones as trade in anymore.

Photo quality

Say "cheese", then rate this thread to express how photos taken with the OPPO Find X2 Pro come out. A higher rating indicates that photos offer rich color (without over-saturating), sharp detail (with all subjects in-focus), and appropriate exposure (with even lighting).
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Had a brief session today with Find X2 Pro. Compared it to S20 Ultra. Awesome

Random tries in nightmode/48MP....
Have the phone since yesterday and used a Pixel 4xl before. Will post some comparison here later but till now I would say that for landscape the oppo is superior but for portraits the Pixel is by far better. Skin tones and also the perfection of the bokeh is just amazing. Playing around with gcam produces good results for portraits but still not on par.
Any recommendations for ports and configs for the Find X2 pro?
does gcam work with the Oppo?

Today I made a photo comparison between the oppo find x2 pro and the huawei p30 pro. Daylight and at 21:30. I find it frightening that in many cases the Huawei easily keeps up and sometimes takes better photos. The Oppo often has a red cast in low light. Even the wide angle of the Oppo is not superior, despite the imx586. I can only hope that Oppo will improve the software.

I compared it quite a bit to the P20 Pro, where detail is superior in the oppo most of the time, but also not extraordinarily better. HDR scenes and color reproduction are way better on the Oppo though.
In lowlight or even medium light(shaded forests for example) it casts the whole frame in the most prominent color it sees. You can try this at dusk in front of a TV for example. Nightmode increases this problem quite dramatically. Of note, GCam nightsight doesnt do this, so it definitly is a software thing.
In bright sunny conditions, lensflare is also quite apparent in certain angles. Most of the time you can tilt the phone a few degrees and get rid of it without messing too much with the shot you want to take. For stills this is ok, but in video you get really bad lensflares in sunny conditions for which you cannot correct.
I also contacted Oppo support for some of the things, but they dont answer so far.
Has anyone noticed lense flare or pictures looking like they've been taken behind a screen or window? So disappointed with the camera, considering sending it back.
Oppo is a selfie expert mobile. Obviously, the photo qualify is awesome. But I don't know the radiation to take photos. That's the first thing we have to know. Is it omits many radiations when we take photos or videos? Can any known person please share the details here
Stunning
Best camera iv had on a smart phone!
HDR blows out quite a bit compared to competitors.
I often try to catch some views of the night sky. Since I got the Find X2 Pro I just played along with night mode and not with the pro settings - I think this would increase quality massively.
Attached you'll find some night mode photos and a photo that was shot directly towards the mid-day sun.
Btw: If you have some special settings for astrophotography with Oppo Find X2 Pro, it would be nice to know.
To be honest: Don't buy this phone for camera quality.
The sensors are great, they should be able to beat most other phones quite easily or at least compare to them but that's not the case because of some serious software problems. I don't want to go in depth but this phone isn't about camera or battery. It's about performance and display but even there is lacking. The Display problems from the 8pro also affect oppos devices. It's a shame and makes the whole phone pointless.
