I have same problem. Unlocking bootloader will disable Knox but instead you will get warning messages after every phone restart.

Did you use "CF Method" or "Root De La Vega" method?
I have a N900 and guess KNOX is not active on my phone. I hence used CF Root method.

yeah i used the cf auto root method and now its stuck, kies says its not responding but it picks up in odin, should i try to flash a stock firmware on via odin?
Since Knox is probably triggered, why not try a custom recovery and rom? If the stock firmware isn't working try custom...
Couldn't hurt... The Note 3 seems to be a different beast to most other samsung devices thanks to their new security features...

If you know the original firmware and csc try the de la vega root method. It might work and kill two birds with one stone. Make sure you use ODIN 3.09 and have both the firmware, should find on the page for de la vega and the csc, again on the de la vega page.
At this point it can't hurt. It also shouldn't trigger knox but there have been reports mj3 firmware has been triggering knox...

Hi,
How can I test that bootloader(Download mode) is locked on my Samsung Note 3(N9005) after I installed CyanogenMod?
Fastboot command tool doesn't see my device(I can see device with adb outside the Download Mode).
Is it possible to lock Download mode on Samsung device?
Thanks.

Only verizon version(sm-n900v?) is bootloader locked. N9005 is international so it isn't locked.

Why you need to lock it?. Never see anybody asking how to lock bl. Samsung didn't make it lockable anyway.

It's recommended for security purposes. Google shows a lot of reasons to do that(can't post links due to new account, but search for "android bootloader lock security" will give plenty of examples)
So for Samsung it's impossible to lock or to replace it with something that could be locked?
Locking and all other things fastboot is made for is NOT MADE/WORKING for Samsung Devices except the Galaxy Nexus. You have a open bootloader and you can only flash by bootloader if you use ODIN.
An att note 3 900a running kk also has a locked bootloader.

Sure, but he has a N9005 ^^
I know, I was just commenting on the fact that the note 3 from att also has a locked bootloader. The remaining note 3 variants do not have a locked bootloader and they cannot be locked unless the locking is done by Samsung.
Hi guys hope you all fine.
I've a weird problem. Samsung pass/secure folder says that my device is rooted. While im on one UI Android 9.0 beta 3 ZSAI and my device status is official. Model#SM-G950F.
I've not rooted my phone after Flashing ZSAI update via adb.
Can't find any helpful thread on internet about my problem. Please help me to solve this.
Thanks in advance.
Have you ever rooted your device before?

As the post above say's once you trip your Knox that's it. Flashing ROMs will not fix it. So no more Knox apps/features will work.
Once rooted, knox writes that root and never goes back to its default state. I was having the same problem as you, too. After researching a lot, unfortunately I had to accept :crying:
I currently have an unlocked USA Samsung Galaxy s8 on Android Pie (latest patch, bootloader 6) and would like to revert to Android 8.0. I found this guide here on XDA, but I was wondering if there was a way to do this without removing the fingerprint scanner functionality and will I trip Knox? Also, I'd like to install PartCyborg, is that in any way possible, and do I still need bootloader version 1 or 2? Thanks for any and all help.
Did you ever get anywhere with it?

If you are already on bit 6, No you cannot. Anti roll back stops it. As for part cyborg rom if you follow the jrkruse edl method you can have cyborg rom and root on nougat only.

I decided against doing this anyways, didn't want to loose the fingerprint scanner or trip Knox.
