Outdoor visibility (max brightness) - Blu Bold N1 Real Life Review

Rate this thread to express how well you can see the Blu Bold N1's display outdoors. In case you've been playing Minecraft for 18 months straight, you might not known how to get outside anymore. Well, find the door and walk through it. A higher rating indicates that it has very high maximum brightness and thus fantastic outdoor visibility in direct sunlight.

I've owned this phone for about two days and have had no problems seeing the display in direct sunlight. Comparing the phone outside to my Note 9, they seem pretty close in brightness under direct sun. The Note 9 is a little brighter. One thing I did notice is that the Note 9 is more color accurate, which is to be expected.

According to this test the V30 display has an excellent max outdoor brightness of 886 nits, which is only topped by the note 8.

Got mine today. As the post above says, it's really only topped by the Note 8. However I had zero difficulty seeing it under the bright Texas sun.

The max brightness is great. No issue reading under the sun. IMHO, the only displays that can do better are Super AMOLEDs from Samsung (S9 and iPhone X).
Enough for me

Its fine, no issues found
It sometimes is hard to see the screen in sun. Completely disappointed with so many issues....
Screen brightness was very good with MIUI 10.4.1
It's somewhat decreased with 10.4.2 upgrade.
It's hard to see sometimes not the best brightness

quality its enough to use it easily in sunny days

Outdoor visibility is manageable, but not good. Coming from a Galaxy S9, 100% brightness on the Pixel 5 feels like 75% on the Galaxy. I'm on the latest Android 13 update in 2023 as well. :/
