I followed directions to a T when I unlocked my bootloader and installed custom ROMs. I installed the latest factory image before I did anything. No matter what ROM I flash on my Nexus 6P, I've noticed that in landscape mode there is graphical "flickering" on screen-updates (moving anything on the screen) that is isolated to the NavBar. My experience has told me that this is because of firmware, but if I am on the latest and the ROMs are build for the latest how could this happen? Any ideas?
Edit: I have attached a picture of the issue I am having on what seems like every single custom ROM available right now.
Well I downloaded Resurrection remix ROM update from 11/26/16 and for some reason the phone icon was not working mind you I have a 1 + 2 now everything works on that run when I put it on my phone everything was working but the phone was the only thing that wasn't working it was forced closing so I tell myself reinstall it and I do that still didn't work then I said wipe everything and install it again I do that again it didn't work so before messing up my flash I said wait a minute something else came out pixel experience so I installed Resurrection Remix and then I experience on top of that and everything's working fine this is probably one of the best ever encounter especially all the customisations that I can do in the settings in the system UI so I'm going to be with this for a while now
Hello,
when having installed a custom Rom on Oneplus 5 and in the Initial setup-wizard I want to restroe a cloud-backup, the Screen just goes white.
No matter which gapps I use.
Any help?
Any help?
Not exactly help but that crap never really worked for me except back in Nexus 5x times.
But due to custom ROM it is possible that the corresponding service was disabled so you get a blank screen
After having had a 1 month experience with the rom pixel experience I wanted to return to the rom stock of miui by downloading it from the official pages, I installed them normal as I would with a custom rom (clean installation) but at the time of starting the system at load the first steps and the different configurations the fps drops appear on the screen and it is blocked for 5 to 10 seconds.
I would like to know if I am doing something wrong and I need your help to return to the rom stock and that it works smoothly as before.
Thanks :'(

As said by the other member (joke19), the best solution is to use the mi tool so as to bring the phone back to its original condition, certainly one of the partitions (probably The vendor partition or persist) (it's just a guess) but ... did you install the latest firmware available in the version of the rom that you then installed?(you said you did a clean install, which means formatting sistem data cache vendor ... And then before installing the new rom reinstalled the Appropriate firmware ...) Personally only once did I return from custom to MIUI (not MIUI stock, however, and at the time I lost the IMEI despite all the correct steps) but it was a long time ago However, these are things that can happen even when you switch from one custom to another, even if one does all the steps. Correct "formatting" from twrp is never a formatting Really clean ... only from fastboot or using the xiaomi tool you usually have a Complete formatting And I would like to underline COMPLETE because in twrp only some partitions are cleaned and this can sometimes lead to small problems
I have a problem with my xiaomi note 7, I decided to install a custom rom because it worked very badly with the latest version of miui. I tried installing HavocOs but on the third day of use the applications started to stop and the phone restarted randomly. Then I installed pixel experience, exactly the same thing happened.
So I decided to try installing the official miui 11 again with the miflash tool, more of the same, added to the fact that it drained the battery a lot. And finally I decided to reinstall the newest version of pixel experience trying to add xiaomi firmware and pixel recovery. And so it has resulted in the same.
I know that something is damaged, but I don't know what to do and I can't know it immediately because errors always take 2-3 days to appear.
