Well, I have in my hands an xperia xz premium, from which I need to remove the pattern. Well after being goooooogleando, hands to work and surprise installed rom but still asking me for the pattern. I keep searching, searching and reading and I don't give anything with it. The rom I installed was this "G8141_Customized CE1_1308-5321_47.2.A.10.107_R1C".
Do you have any suggestions?

I have had my xperia for quite sometime now and finally i am feeling confident to hard spl, and start adding custom ROMs. My Question is fairly simple, "What ROM would you recommend, and why?"
P.S i have read about all the Major ROMs, and a lot look promising, but a little advice would be appreciated.

I think you should try them for yourself ... It's like having a car ... each has something for someone. Your job is to find out which is the one you like best.
I for one use WM6.5 W4X.23 Barebone (SEX1) but before that I used a WM6.1 nX1 barebone.
But I just like speed over fancy effects ....
P.S. I think there's been someone asking the same question around here. Try and see if you can find it and maybe you'll find more answers there
im looking to add some nice apps and possibly a theme and ive read somethings on installing cabs or exe's but im still having some small problems with them....was wondering if any experienced hd2 users would mind speakign with me possibly over msn so they come give me a few tips and reccomendations.....thanks in advance and great forum

best way to start is by reading and playing. lost of people come here every day and say 'where do i start' without reading first. No one is being rude if you dont get an answer, but theyd be answering the same question every day.

Play with your device, and once you have a feel for it, you can ask more specific questions.
i have read many diff articles but to be honest ive never done much with editing of phones and dont want to do something to mess it up...im jus looking for someone to speak to for a bit and jus ask a few questions and some feedback on some apps and such....again anyone whos willing to help me i will give a donation to
Hehe, None of the tweaks and tips will damage your device, the worst that can happen is you have to hard reset (factory default).
(well, unless you start flashing roms, but you shouldnt go anywhere near that until you are confortable with the device.)

dude, you are going to get different answers from different people, and only a few people too, and chances are not everyone flashed every rom here...
only you can determine the best rom for you, by testing and keeping the best and narrow down each to one you love...
asking a question like this is just like paying attention to polls, what if everyone you asked during the election survey were all tea-baggers? you think u can give an answer close to the real facts?
this question was asked more than a dozen times already.... try before you buy

have a search in general sub forum, you will find "what is the best rom..." threads there in case you do like some alternate opinions
in rom dev there should be an "incomplete comparison..." that might give additional insight, but all said and done it's your decision

Hey guys, I'd like to introduce myself first. I usually go by "Thewaffle1" on most forums, dont ask how I came up with it haha. I'm very new to the HD2 community, but not so new to the whole "phone hacking" scene or whatever you want to call it. I used to have an iphone for a long time and I jailbroke it and customized it and all that jazz.
As of two days ago, I bought my very own HTC HD2, and am so far very happy with it. I must say though, I know there are many things I have yet to do on this phone because Im afraid im going to mess it up, or "brick" it. I come to you today for some guidance; Are there any threads I should read besides the stickies?
I kept reading about this .net microsoft compact framework thing, and I installed it on my PC but im not too sure what it does or how to use it.
I also have now idea how to install it on my Phone either.
I would greatly appreciate it if any of you fine folks here could set me off on the right path.

Like you mention it's useful to start with reading the sticky threads.
On this thread most of the simply but most in commend questions new users ask are bean treat, so take a look on it.

After that there is one important rule; "reading and following the informations mention in each post"
Maybe you will say this is obvious, but I must say the most of the problems that users make is by not following the instructions.

For ways to install .net framework look here....
You dont "use it" as such........ its something that is just there because it needs to be if you know what I mean....... once its installed you dont need to really think about it ever again.........
most custom ROMS will come with it cooked in anyway and if you had your old iPhone jailbroken your probably the kind of person thats going to want to flash a custom rom at some point........

.net is a needed application fore some other application can work.
it have nothing to see with rom.

I'm really sorry to do this but it seems every thread i post just goes unanswered and it's getting very frustrating. So yes I'm being that person just this one time. This forum is so disappointing lately. usually so helpful but the past 6 months or so, anything ive asked gets ignored.
im wanting to breathe more life into my device, but i sit around for weeks if not months waiting for some help from someone with more experience than me. Its really quite frustrating.
If there is anywhere more appropriate that i need to ask for help, please by all means direct me there. But, nobody has given me anything to go on.
