We know how much you like to stream, ahem, "videos", and so cellular data is mega-important. Rate this thread to express how you think the Realme 5 Pro's LTE performs. A higher rating indicates that it's fantastic: throughput is excellent and signal strength is top-notch.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add.
Very good signal reception. I use a 4G and 3G SIM simultaneously and both have good signals strength at all times. Even better than my last Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. Didn't get to use the WiFi fully yet. I'll update later when I get the results.

Ah, I see. I'm from Hungary and I've already ordered my Realme 5 Pro. It's just that our providers use B7 and B20 but the device doesn't support either. Hopefully it'll be just fine.
I sucked a cucumber with the signal reception here in Hungary with default settings. After doing some tweaking though the network stabilized itself and now I'm having no problems.

Is it possible to get the mobile signal strength on GT 7.7
I had try lots of ways but can't successful.
What you mean "get"? To get it as a function in your own app's code or just you want to see it?
Turn off WiFi and you'll see strength bars in notification popup (on the place where you usually see WiFi signal bars).
There are plenty of apps like this one that display signal info:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cellsignaltester.moby
You can also get that in the About page of the device settings. What exactly are you after?
nooooo, use this one instead, this Widget is better

It's all the same data obtained from the phone. A widget tends to suck battery and performance so that's why I recommended a simpler app. Since there are a ton of them, it's really incumbent on the end user to decide what they like.
All of that apps doesn't work on SGS2/Tab7.7 (Exynos-based chipsets).
No, they work (run), but unable to show correct signal level due to a "bug" in modem FW. They always show +85dbm. So the only way to see correct signal strength is the system signal meter in statusbar.
Any way to update the modem driver to fix the Bug ?

Don't think so. Samsung does not care about it - still not fixed even on SGS2, which is already on the market for a long time. Maybe it will be fixed with ICS release, nobody knows.
Just thought I would ask what kind of speeds others are getting on the DC-HSDPA data. I was amazed with regular download speeds of over 15Mbps but tested just today and got 26.2 Mbps down and 3.38Mbps up.
This is unbeleivable, who needs 4G.
This is on the 3 network by the way.

where are you ? London im guessing.
The best i have got like 5mbs on 3, but im on the outskirts of birmingham, need to go into city centre to see
Best I have got so far 24mb down and 3mb up on 3G with EE
AW: HTC One Data Speeds
German VF LTE, look @ signal strenght
one'ed....
i think he meant the bbc news APP is back ...because it was incompatible with the htc one at the beginning (sorry wrong thread )
From my understanding DC-HSDPA (DC=dual channel) requires you to have good reception from TWO base stations. So you need to be in a city centre or densely covered area. If you are on the outskirts of anywhere, you are likely only to get one strong connection. So far the highest I saw was 14Meg on Three, but I haven't been into London with the One yet.
LTE will be better because you only need a good connection with one base station to get those kinds of numbers.
So while it is true that DC-HSDPA gets very close to LTE...LTE will be more consistent once its widespread.
Wow I need to get one of those phones I'm on 3 and in London my one X only gets like 3mbps

Hi,
I decide to get Mate 8 to replace my good Note 3, I have Tmobile service in Bay Area, CA, do you think I made a right choice, will I get LTE speed or just 4G.
Please share if you have any experiences.
Thanks in advance.

I'm on Tmobile in LA, also upgraded from note 3. It shows 4g but I'm not complaining about the speed!

CCLDB, Thank you for sharing, is it fast enough for netflix, hulu, youtube ? Does 4G connection get dropped sometime ?
Thanks again for sharing.

LTE is a type of 4G. You're getting LTE speeds. I'm on At&t and getting LTE as well.
T-Mobile phones show LTE when it's LTE. Overseas phones show 4G when it's LTE. If it says 4G, you have LTE.
Do see this for more issues clearance.

Never had a problem dropping the connection. YouTube has no problem on 1080, I don't use the other two.
Only problem with YouTube is I can't seem to redirect a video from web browser to be played by the YouTube app.
Would you say that the OnePlus 7T Pro is "fast" in day-to-day use? A higher rating indicates that you think the OnePlus 7T Pro exhibits fantastic performance. Like, is it as fast as your tears when you watch The Titanic?
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
It is as fast as lightning
Better performance and great battery life makes it incredible
i got second place on Antutu Benchmark...
The speed is amazing. The 90hz screen refresh rate adds to this speed feeling.
i have the oneplus 7t pro cannot brake 465000-469000 on antutu v8.3 latest version ...i did try run multiple time no luck at all...have the lastest update..maybe there is bug somewhere in the soft...I have read this..
what do you think ?
its fast like a chita
i like this for speed but whats the better one new?
2021 nearly over and I gave up my s21 ultra after a month went back to my day to day. OnePlus 7t pro McLaren . Low band 5g and it's fast as lighting. battery seems great still. Not an s21 ultra but still I make it through the day. One thing. The s21 ultras great but big heavy slippery even with a case. The McLaren just fits different in my hand. And for some reason I had issues on my service providers data with the s21 ultra yet I've never had an issue with the McLaren . Take it how u want.

As I can see there is a weak signal strength, that maybe the problem. Try going around a strong signal strength area and check if it stays, Or you can also try changing the carrier provider which have a good signal strength in your area. (Only a guess)
tnks for you replay, but the weak singal in no problem because this also happens with a strong signal(check by mobile telephone). Maybe with some upgrade I can do something, but I'm afraid because all the other functions work normally
