Quick question, should DC Dimming and adaptive brightness be turn on at the same time or when DC is on the adaptive brightness should be off?
Thank you

Hi all,
Just wondering if you're experiencing adaptive brightness issues. My adaptive brightness is on but I always find the screen to be much too bright for my liking. I ned to manually change the brightness in every situation I'm in, even with adaptive brightness on.
When I manually change the brightness, the adaptive brightness toggle stays on, but the brightness does successfully change. Is this a feature that "learns" what your preferred brightness is and will eventually act accordingly?
I am running stock ROM 6.0 Canadian and squid kernel 14b, stock everything else.
Does anyone have any suggestions about better automating light levels?
Thanks for your time,
--Mike
P.S. If you're ever bored one night look at this post and take a shot every time you see the word "brightness".

I've noticed that when AOD is on, and the room is dark the brightness level of the AOD is very low, and I'd like to keep it at that low level to minimize battery drain. But I can't figure out how to manually set AOD brightness control?
and before you ask, yes auto brightness is OFF on the phone settings.
Is there any way to calibrate this value? Sometimes its too dark for use. Thanks in advance.
Same here
Sometimes is so bright

Had the same problem. Installed Lux Lite and disabled the native adaptive brightness.
After April update I am finding very low light display in low light condition.I always Keep adaptive brightness on.How to to solve this ?
Just pull down the notification area twice and adjust the brightness, this sets the baseline to your liking, adaptive will still works.
