[Q] Latest firmware?

Is this the latest firmware on my S5? As shown in the pic below just curious because i got it and went to updates and it says latest updates alredy installed

If it tells you it has the latest, then it has the latest for your device and region.
But the absolute latest is ANG7 for the 900F.

ANG9 for the Netherlands (PHN) seems to be newer in build date.

But ANG7 has a way newer change list which has been confirmed by the ROM builders here on XDA.

Edgarf28 is the dev of the ROM I run and he has confirmed it, it is a bit strange of course, but that is Samsung for ya

Yes, VOD CSC.
But it looks like it was also released for XEF (at least via OTA).

Does that mean only Vodaphone users can flash it? What happens if we flash it on a unlocked phone?

Will it give me the bloat of vodaphone?
And will it lock my bootlaoder?
And how do i update if i have root and twrp?

flash the XEF french version and press the update button and you will receive the MM update

Say what? 6.0.1 isn't up for XEF AFAIK. Is it 5.1.1 you want to flash?

Has anyone installed a custom recovery ?The TWRP from MM beta doesn't cooperate :/

Ye please mega or Google drive link. There is a speed with 20Kb/s and with Google 1,6MB/s

It's giving fail when I am trying to flash the XEF firm. Do I need pit file for it?

just installed it and DAMN its fast! and not a hickup! this completly changed the phone for me. MM update I love you

A tab S2 SM-T815 is a tab S2 T815 no matter which region it is from
All T815 firmwares should work on it,
Are you sure you doing it right and no errors from odin ?

I just downloaded the zip file, unzipped it, put it in the AP of Odin and flashed. Odin said FAILED in a few secs.

check the cable, restart pc ....
any thing could be wrong, its not the rom
mine is T815 Iran and the rom works with no problem

my tab s2 t815c is Hongkong edition. this rom is suitable for that edition?

Mine is T710 HK version. I've been using overseas ROM without any issue. Only the Chinese IME is missing so I install Google Chinese IME.

I'm in the UK and haven't received any update. Even connecting to smart share there is no update available. Any ideas why mine isn't coming through? Only been waiting a year for it ???

S7 Edge not Getting the latest update???

Hello guys i am new to Sammy Devices but as i can See on sammobile the dbt Model of the s7edge has a New Firmware Released on the 3 january. But i am on the 22nd of december Version. I am not Getting the update through ota and smart switch also tells me that i am up to Date. Can u help me out please, is this normal Or is my Device faulty.

You may be on carrier firmware which is built from the same build.

Sorry I meant your phone's CSC not the Firmware CSC build. It's usually 3 digits (like BTU)

I was looking on sammobile but when u compare at the dbt Section the newest firmware with Mine installed the pda number is the same but the csc do not Match? I am confused:/

I'm on an unbranded S7 Edge in the UK and i'm still waiting on the OTA
Edit: Looking at that sammobile page, looks like there isn't a firmware for the UK "XEU" CSC (only the UK BTU version is there)
