Can any developer take a look and get a good start in kernel development. Back up is good by default stock kernel and stock rom btw.. its giving 7:15-7:20hrs of SOT everyday (HSPA & WiFi). Wondering whether hotplug could improve further to 8hrs sot in a single charge

Thank you soo much for considering my request
I attempted myself for compiling as i had no response from anyone whom i tagged. Succeeded building kernel, booted fine with all 18 modules. But for some reason WiFi couldn't Turn_ON even though i was able to compile prima/pronto Wlan modules and strip it for flashing. Did numerous attempts still didn't success. On top i am running a 10 years old Pentium D processor which is heck slow takes me 3:30hrs to complete compiling one build of kernel.
I am looking forward for your build as i remember your kernel for 1st gen was doing great. And thank you again for responding and considering to my tag

Thanks . But I don't know who help me with ,,repair,, this bootloop
tanx for job
My pc is incapable of running a Linux setup and rom build would take ages, so I can't help with that.
I can advise you to take a logcat to find where the problem is coming from and why the rom isn't booting. When we know the reason of the error, we can focus on fixing this specific bug, by using patches for ports, for other devices with the same chipset. Patches for MT6735 should be on Github.
Good luck with the development of this rom, if you need any help or if you have questions you can pm me.

Nice idea. You should also add past updated date next to the name.
I am currently on Aosoextended 3rd march build with its kernel.
Still can't hear audio on Bluetooth calls. The other day I found that I was not able to get any files using WiFi direct. But its far better than 7.x ROMs.
Resurrection remix6???

All are similar, good enough for daily use
Used extended and firehound. Felt almost similar experience in both.
Are we at daily driver level yet with Oreo roms? I am tired of EUI and wanted to try something new and I prefer pure android anyway.
Thanks in advance. :good:

first you made a comment with tagging all roms developers and said
"They keep on building new rom everyday with a new name but they don't work on basic requirement. All are maintaining minimum two roms, which is useless"
and now again you made a thread tagging us all with mentioning all roms showing users that we are having this much oreo roms, lets choose right one...

Dear, I think there is nothing wrong. This post is just to create a list of Oreo roms available. Which will help users to go directly to there favourite Rom without searching any where.
Please don't take it to other direction. And for your kind information. I didn't create any thread which you are talking about.

How do I know if my Poco is Juice or Chime model ?

Hi,
I want to install crDroid and in this page https://crdroid.net/downloads there is two type of Poco M3 : Juice or Chime. How do I know which one I should get please ? I currently have MIUI Global 12.5.7 in Android 11. I'm waiting for Miunlock 98hours time to unlock it.
EDIT : It seem that juice = ROMs based on stock MIUI vendor. And chime = ROMs based on OSS vendor.
Since I have MIUI on my phone I guess it's a juice model.

It's M2010J19CG. Should I first install a juice rom first and a chime rom after ? For example crDroid V7 first and crDroid V8 after.

Both codenames is unified codename made by 3rd party devs for POCO M3 (citrus) & Redmi Note 9 4G/Redmi 9 Power/Redmi 9T (lime, lemon & pomelo).
