Since I've bought my AirPods2 all was fine, after some time I've experienced strange quality drop on calls. Music was ok. Than I paried other AirPods and second pair worked fine, so I realized that my AirPods might be broken and repleaced it with Apple. Got my new AirPods worked fine, for one month, and same situation. I face rapid sound quality drop only on calls. I've tried clearing app data, resetting AirPods, changing bluetooth codec, but AirPods uses on AAC, no change. AirPods work fine with my MacBook. Any ideas what could be the issue and how to solve ? I didn't install any apps and/or upgrade OOS.
OOS 9.0.16, previous pair was on 9.0.15.
Have you tried going into the Audio tuner? Set it to Apple airpods and see if that works maybe ....me personally never had any issues with my airpods but Just throwing it out there since no one has responded.
Hi, tuner is only for music quality as a equalizer, has nothing to do with that issue. I have no issue with AirPods(1gen), since now I have 2nd gen it happend twice within 3 months.

I'm using gen 1 works flawlessly. I don't see any need for gen 2. Maybe the best go back to gen 1 or wait for OnePlus update next month might help it.

Completly no sense, there is no change in way of comunication gen 1 vs gen 2. Tested on 9.0.15 and 9.0.16, same result.

Then is the apple airpods gen 2 problem I guess. I don't own a pair of gen 2 so I don't know how to help lol

Totally agree! I'm still on gen1 and like I said I've had no issues but just wanted to throw things out there to get the ball rolling. Doesn't gen2 have a different chipset?

Yes I think gen 2 is W1 chipset. But a lot of youtuber said they are no different only connect time is 0.6 second faster lol and the price difference in UK Gen 1 159, Gen 2 199. For faster connection lol

Have you got the airbattery app from Google play store? If not give it a try might solve your problems. After installed select airpods gen 2 support. Give it a try this is a free app.

I didnt buy gen2 ISO gen1, I used gen1 before but I didnt own them, since I bought mine only gen2 was available... so sayin that gen2 isnt worth over gen1 is not in sensce at that moment... Back to topic, I left airpods again with apple and waiting for their respond, will update You asap.

After few hours, and two calls, same problem. So app nor resetting doesnt have any thing to do.
Two choices. Get an iPhone, or get some different headphones. Simple.

Have you tried connecting it to an iPhone if you have one or Any of your friends iPhone and update them?

Received from apple with no problems found. Surprisingly AirPods working fine at the moment. I have no idea how its possible. Meaby they are resetting on factory level ? Ive installed AirBattery app as well. So for now, I don't know what is the soluttion for that problem.

Give it a few days see how it goes. If apple says is okay that they may e already solve the problems without telling you. Is the app great? Works just like using iPhone

That's weird, I'm using the 2nd gen airpods since May and everything works fine here (OOS 9.0.16), try to get some logs to see what happens.

Hmmm, have you try to resetting the phone? Clear cache and stuff like this? Like factory reset?
Ive made factory reset, clearing cache, apps data as well. Problem in my opinion is with bluetooth somehow, since it occurs only while talking (mic in use) on any app and dialer itself. I have no idea how it is possible because for time untill now it was working fine. I didnt change anything, didnt update any apps or OOS, instantly I face quality drop, and same person that I talk with says that my mic is low quality. I've tried many changes in developer options, like AVRCP, codec, bitrates, but no result. This is so weird that when apple gave new pair of airpods it worked perfectly fine... after time problems is back again.

Hi There,
I've just got my Galaxy S today, used to have a HTC Desire.
First problem I had was connecting to Kies. W7 x64 didnt like it, but turn the phone on while the usb was plugged in solved this.
Now for my second problem. Using my HTC Desire, I bought various apps from the market, but some of these such as Caligo Chaser can't be found when I search the market. How can I solve this?
Third: Kies tells me that "This mobile phone is not supported by Samsung Apps" and won't let me download some of the apps i want through there. What can I do?
I also want to use the podcast widget in kies, but when I enable it it tells me "Available after updating to the latest version" even though I have the latest version of Kies. What's wrong?
I would really like to use keys because managing my music and videos works fine.

I've been using it intensely, running all sorts of apps and 720 videos and as of yet, no lagging.
What's the RAM issue?
Not tried GPS yet, will do today.
What about the apps that don't appear?
This is driving me crazy! I keep checking out these forums, trying to figure out what problems are really going on with this device and it's insane how some folks are having issues that if are real, should be happening to all but that doesn't seem to be the case. I have an iPhone 4 and although it's nice, it's lacking in so many features I would call basic. I also have an Evo that has build quality issues but overall performs well. I hate the looks of the Droid X and so I'm trying to decide on the SGS, Evo and iPhone 4.
Going to check out the Captivate today in store and really give it some testing and look for some of the issues mentioned on this forum.......

Here's an issue that no one mentions but is definitely prevalent. Not all headphones with inline mic work on the SGS. I got pissed that my vmoda vibe duo sounded like pure crap but the headphones included worked fine. After a quick forum search I found out that alot of users experience this problem and as far as I know, there's no way to "know" which headphones (with inline mic) will work for sure. There's a "dirty fix" which is to tape down the talk button on the mic but i'd rather not have to deal with that.
I told my bud working at AT&T to check to see if the Captivate has that problem but he only had access to the stock headphones at the time...I'll update if he confirms or denies the same issue on the Captivate

Not sure if you have flashed a new ROM yet but this sounds like you cannot see protected apps (some, but far from all paid apps are protected). Could you post your ROM versions (dial *#1234# to see them). If this is an issue with the protected apps, there is a solution in my FAQ thread.

I personally find it impressive that you got Kies to recognize your phone correctly in Windows 7 x64. I have done everything short of a complete Windows reinstall. So far without success. I personally find it one of the biggest shortcomings of Samsung regarding this phone. Software support this crappy belongs in the previous century and is simply ridiculous in the year 2010!
Im using win7 x64 and kies works ok. I had to install twice because the first time i plugged the phone in too soon and that fubarred the driver install.

I guess I'll add this to the list of things to consider when testing the Captivate. It really seems like there are people who get the device and don't want to hear about problems like parents who don't want to hear about their children doing wrong. Every device has some type of problems but there should be no issues with talking about any problems in a place like this......
So first of all about Kies ... it is not really supporting the android phone if I undesrtood well
For instance the samsung app are not android app
That's why it say's that your phone is not recognized
I think we will have to wait for a new version of Kies
On my side it doens't work on my vista 32 but it doens on another desktop on vista 64.
I already re installed the soft 3 time but still have the problem of MTP failed ( and WM11 doens't work neither )
I had no problems with Kies in Win7 x64 and identifying my device.
I have a problem with Kies in general. It sucks.
win7 64 and kies worked ok for me on me laptop and desktop. but your right it is pants!
I haven't really used Kies yet. What is it supposed to do?

Yeah I know what you mean. Tested the vibrant today with iphone headphones and they didn't have the same issue. I showed the chick working at the t-mobile store what I meant with my own phone and she was pretty surprised at that problem.
My at&t bud told me he told his product manager and she tested it and it was fine. He's gonna personally test it tomorrow as well.

Video calling was working just fine on my XOOM until the above update so.....has anyone got an APK for the previous version that they could possibly link me to?
I dunno if anyone else uses it but today when we tried to call my dad, the XOOM just locked up and was locked in the call with black video window. Very frustrating and my daughter really wanted to see her grandad.
So, any help greatly appreciated. ;-)

Funny you say that, 'cause about an hour after the update I made a ~10-minute Video call to Israel (and one later within Cali, a lot less interesting ) and it worked flawlessly, w/o even any sync or lag issues.
Did you try rebooting? I'm rooted and overclocked, but I suspect that's had very little to do with my good performance.
Well i managed to track down 2.5.0.160 which seems to be the one i had prior to the issues and all is well again.

I have the same problem with my Galaxy S WIFI 5.0. After update, the front/back camera is upside down.
Can place the apk somewhere accessible on the internet? Many many thanks.

Yeh, it's a shame the OP of that one didn't search first...eh? What with this one being dated prior to that one and all......
So far so good, it seems to be more slick feeling than my 900. The weight feels relatively close so anyone that has had a 900 won't feel a difference. So far so good I haven't set it up yet because I need to sync my music on my work PC right quick.
Differences
The Black Color is very slick in hand compared to others.

Found issue cable related had a micro usb for sync at my desk used Nokia now its a lot better
I mentioned the charger, but they didnt have any in stock. They did have the coupon code for it, so they took $50 off the phone price and then I did a 2nd purchase for $50 for the charger and they will mail it to my house. I got an email a few minutes ago saying it has shipped already.

Media works flawless on my old Jabra 620s...... no issues I have even tried hitting the power button repeatedly. And I don't remember my Jabra's being this loud either....

Yeah, same here. It actually shipped before I got home.. looking sweet so far.
Perhaps it's just me being stupid, but no matter what I try, I can't get the bluetooth on my Nexus 4 to work.
If I try and send a file from my Nexus, it simply says "Bluetooth share: File [file name] not sent". If I try to send a file to my Nexus, from my laptop for example, my laptop simply cannot find my Nexus.
Obviously, the bluetooth is on and it's set to visible, but I just cannot transfer files to or from it. At first I thought it may have been a software issue and would be resolved with the latest 4.2.2 update, but it still doesn't work.
Any advice?

I received my N4 yesterday. I can't get the Bluetooth to work at all!
My Bluetooth headset is not visible, I can't share files with an other phone or PC.
I'm running Android 4.2.1.
I hope the lastest 4.2.2 is going to come quick and solve my problem.
EDIT 2:45 : I updated to 4.2.2 and my BT still not works! I called Google Play's support, the problem is not known. I asked for an exchange which I await confirmation. I'm cursed.

I've had mine for 2 months, but I hadn't tried using the bluetooth until a couple of days ago.
I had my Nexus 4 since early December, and my Bluetooth always worked....until I upgraded to PanaroidAndroid 3+ (it worked fine when it was 2.99).
I use my Bluetooth everyday, so this is kind of a pain. Are you on a Rom, or are you having issues with a stock Nexus 4?

If you are on stock 4.2.2 then they will send you a replacement if your Bluetooth doesn't work.
You have a 1 year warranty
People have gotten replacements for much less

Sorry to bump the old thread. I just got my nexus yesterday . I am facing the same Bluetooth problem. I can only transfer files via Bluetooth after a restart. After some time Bluetooth never connects . Tried sending files from multiple devices but to no avail. I reside in India. So sending back the device would not be a better option to me since it would take too much of a cost to get it shipped from here and back. Well i gotta flash a stock image again and see if the problem still exists. A little bit confused and lost
This might not work for you guys at all...but who knows.
If you are using any type of battery saving app, disable it first, restart, and see if BT works for you. My Go Power Master messes up my BT all the time.
Sorry for bumping the old thread . But i have same problem with my Bluetooth. The file transfer works only the first time after restarting my device. The second time it simply fails. None of the devices can send me a file via Bluetooth. Anybody found a solution yet for this ?
I just got my nexus from the US 2 days back. And sending it back for a replacement would be a huge problem since i stay in India.
Any solutions or suggestions would be very helpful.

I had this issue while I was stock and just out of box 1 month ago with a brand new pair of s10 Motorola's BT headset. I had wound up turning both on and off over and over till I got it. I guess its just lg? Or nexus 4 build with 4.0 BT I think it is anyway. Which I had on another device I preffered the 3.+ over the newest BT ...anyway try turning off both and back on several times. Sometimes now I have to hard reset the s10s

I'm fully stock and my Bluetooth is also flaky to say the least.
I know the root method works, but some people say that the camera and flashlight don't work after rooting.
Are there fixes for these issues? (Question is for North American G5 Plus's, like those sold at Best Buy and Amazon with unlockable bootloader)
They work fine after rooting. Not sure where you got that information from.

My G3 broke and the S3 is showing its age.. I'll buy this phone and root it. I need root just for a few apps (DNS changer, TB, Root call block)

You should be fine. Any issues you see will be related to the phone itself right out of the box. You may want to do a quick google search on those.

I bought the phone today and everything works great. Rooting, Flashlight, Camera, TB, DNS Override.

Glad it worked for you. Make sure your WiFi maintains a connection as well. I haven't had problems but others on the Lenovo forums have.

After a day of using it, WiFi seems to work fine.
My issue is bluetooth playback skipping (Google music)
Skips in my car and my portable BT speaker. Trying to find a fix.
Using Spotify seems to have fixed the issue. I'm just going to cancel my GPM and switch if that's what it takes.
edit: Spoke too soon.... going to try a custom ROM soon to see if that fixes the "skip" with bluetooth audio.
