Can I dual boot this phone so I can run a stock version and rooted version on my phone as I want to use the barclays banking app

After updating to the latest SamsungPay software, I'm no longer able to use my SamsungPay wallet to access my loyalty cards here in Canada. I know the application is yet to be supported in canada but it used to work before updating. I used to have my cards on the app. Removed the application to reinstall it and see if that helped. Tried clearing cache but no luck. Now I'm stuck with no cards on my digital wallet.
Any help would be appreciated.
Running Android 6.0.1
SM-G935FD (dual SIM version)
SamsungPay 2.4.02
SamsungPay Framework 2.5.0
Hi I just bought second hand verizon galaxy s7 flat SM-G930V , the sim has been unlocked so I can use any sim card on it, it runs android 6.0.1 , baseband version is G930VVRS4APH1, I want to root it, install xposed and debloat it, my questions are:
1-if I follow this method, does it affect the baseband, I mean will my sim still be unlocked? or do I have to unlock it again?
2-if I upgrade to nougat does it also upgrade the baseband, and will it also relock the sim? if so can I unlock it?
thanks
3-which one should I flash the V version or U version? I mean Verizon fw or Unlocked fw

I would go with the u firmware also if you want Xposed then you have to be on Android 6.0.1
Is any work being done to try to unlock the bootloader of the SM-G955U model? Just got the phone so I'm out of the loop and was wondering what the hold up is. Bought a simple mobile version and put my T-Mbile sim in it. Works great so it is definitely carrier unlocked, but the bootloader is locked which means I cannot install a custom recovery. Not very happy with Touchwiz...

As far as I no one's doing anything on that side of stuff, you can still get root and there is a custom rom out there by a user named Partcyborg, do not expect to see any aosp/lineageos roms out, there isn't events fully working one for the exynos version
Hello, I am trying to root my Samsung s8 G950w. It is the Canadian model and was locked to Virgin Mobile.
Since the oreo 8.0 upgrade, I no longer have the unlock OEM option.
Baseband and build info is as follows
dreamqltevl/dreamqltecan/R16NW G950WVLU4BRF/
Ive tried samPWND and PartyCyborg tutorials and neither of them worked either.
Please help i have tried flashing twrp with Odin but it fails everytime. I have frp bypassed, unlocked and rooted many phones but this one is killing me

You have a snapdragon version that has a locked bootloader, there is no current standalone root method, if you have the latest bootloader installed then the mentioned methods you've used won't work as they haven't patched it yet. Blame the network providers for all this.
same issue

5th digit back from end is bootloader revision there is now a method of rooting nougat only. No oreo or pie. Fortuanatly the method installs safestrap where you can flash a nougat system img. Su and busybox. On top of a revision 5 combination nougat bootloader. Look up s8 safestrap edl
As a side note more than likely you will convert your model to a U model instead of a w
I just found out that my SM-G935P has a locked bootloader and is therefore stuck at Android 8.0.
If I want to buy another S7 Edge that is upgradable, I just have to make sure that it has the Exynos chipset, correct?
All s7 only had an official update up to android 8. When you say update, are you referring to having other possibilities using custom roms or are you referring to the rom stock update ?? If it refers to rom stock, it is better to buy an s9 or s10.
