Came back from flashing, gotta say, color reproduction is better on the 66 variant, its almost like stock. On the 69hz its on the "pale" side, so if you consider that a vital factor, the one with 66hz works flawlessly.
Personally, I almost didn't find any difference between 66 and 69, it's not as giant as 60hz to 84hz like the other one mod, so, I'll stay on 66, thanks again for sharing!

No, I believe this is a more deep modification than root modules.

It is working on the latest xiaomi.eu 9.8.15 (but flashing back my own dtbo I have bootloop!). The green tint seems not to be there anymore, colors are more vibrant than with the 84Hz mod, the screen is brighter (maybe a bit less than with the 84Hz) but I don't feel it is really smoother than 60Hz.

i really doubt that a 6 hz oveclock is noticable , but the 84 hz on the other hand was too much for the screen to handle most of the times(green tint-distorted colours etc).I wish we could have a more modest 75 hz oc.

Same, 75hz for 9.8.1 (pie) would be perfect, this Q rom is too early access, edxposed doesn't work on it, lots of things don't work.

microphone is ok and camera is quite good
in setting you can chose from stock miui camera to the new miui camera.

this is for the gionee E7 with 32gb rom and 3 gigs of ram.
i think that it's not compatible with the 16gb version. but it can be wrong.

The Rom is already rooted, you don't have to add nothing. If you install an app that require root you simply have to go to security, permissions, and set robot for the app.
Photoshop touch force closes the moment I open the app . I've tried several versions but still same :/

okzz for me its working good so far i notice some time and wana share
if we use a device its good means avg not bad bettery drain but on idle its eat battery about 10 %in night any one else ? on the other hand my meizu m1 note giving me on about 1 or 2% on idle just some one let me know plzzz..
and 2nd thing sound iss very low on poor on hands free even i can proper hear in phone call in hands free
if its beeing fixed its gona be a perfect rom for e7 and sorry for bad english

Since, this is a IUNI U2 port, I was expecting to see same problems here, which are: poor camera app and poor sound quality. Looks like it's the case in here, too.
Have any of you tried to use Kitkat extracted camera app with miui?
As per sound problems, IUNI U2 has already received newer MIUI, so maybe there will be a port of it for E7 too.
Also, as far as I remember, U2 does not have NFC, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing it's missing in this ROM, too.
So far, Kitkat remains my favourite ROM.

Because this variant of the M7 (which have slightly different hardware) was very unpopular outside the Asian market and there was almost no development for it Even in the early days, this device had almost no devs supporting it so it's not really a surprise if nothing new (M or N) is ported to the dual sim today. slim rom doesnt have root. the normal option in the developer settings to enable it is also missing.
the sound gets reduced when you're switching apps and in some option menus ... why? changing sound after this reduction shows that the previous setting wasn't changed, just temporarily overwritten.
background applications like a media players get killed (stopping the music) if you continue to use the phone normally
guess ill try one of the others or restore my backup later.
/edit: ah, and the play restore didnt work either, so i had to manually reinstall all apps (remember, no root so titanium backup didnt work either)

For me all Nougat ROMs have a issue when making phone calls, when you first dial a number it's works fine, but if you cancel the call then when you make a second call you can ear nothing, and the person you call neither.
I have another: All Nougat (and MM roms) have LCD Sleep of Death. If the lcd turns off, it will never turn on, although the device is indeed awake (touch works, vibrations, volumes etc)
Worse, i have 2 M7s, this only hapens on one of them.

It must be a mixture of both. Something unique to a few versions. On LP it works perfectly.. both Sense and GPE.

performance is good but sot is bad compared to miui 8. on epic rom i use to get 8 hours, now its 5.5. i thinks because it's not stable enough and all the garbage Chinese stuff...

Same notifications. Max 1/4sec. 100 ISO Lowest.
Not different so much with MIUI 8, i think better stick with Global stable MIUI 8

use magisk and find widevine supoort for using netflix
good ROM but there is crash of XPOSED when you install GAPPS (cannot confirm if is related to this or not - read below)
EDIT: it is probably related to xposed cannot connect to update server. it is on the first login to new ROM (then network is not configurated). I have disabled xposed at this moment.

so i am on the Mokee ROM nougat release version build 1009 the latest and it's very smooth and perfect overall but i have a teeny tiny problem the camera app also as many other apps that uses the camera such as whatsapp and twitter swap the camera incorrectly for example the swap first the main rear lens then the second rear lens then the first main lens again (this process may be done more than one time) then the front camera it isn't that big of a problem however it makes me take alot of time to snap a picture i am on the latest stable global firmware V10.0.1.0.OCAMIFH i anyone doesn't have this issue or can fix it or know of a workaround i would be very grateful for such info thanks in advance
Has anybody managed to get working 1080p60 on Android 9? I tried GCams, Open Camera, but no luck, it does either record 30 FPS or it records only green screen.
Flash this module via magisk. It allows stable 1080p @60 fps video on Mi a1 on android pie. Tried and tested

Does it work on custom roms where camera2api and EIS is enabled?

So I flashed it via Magisk in my Evolution X rom and it completly broke my camera. Had to restore from backups.

Here, activate this module in Magisk and thats it (ONLY FOR PIE)
I am using it on Lineage os 16 and its working great!
Credits goes to 4PDA, i didnt made this mod!!!
(Be sure to disable Stabilization in Gcam when you chose 60fps option because it will lag, its enough stable in 60fps)

Thanks! This one works! Finally Full HD @ 60 FPS working on Pie (Evolution X). It is also stable in the dark.

Hey it works fine, but if i enable the manual camera controls, like ISO or aperture, it goes to 25 fps. There's any solution for this?
An example is OpenCamera or Manual Camera. If i enable Camera2API in any of them, the FPS drops again.
Any tips?

Hmm strange, i dont know, waiting for new version of module on 4pda then i will upoload if something come out.
change selinux mode to Permissive
some mods only works in permissive mode or if it set to enforcing Camera app shows "Can't connect to Camera"

Hey, i dont know, it stoped working with newer version of magisk.
Now there is a better module: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/p/mi-a1-camera-patches/
This module is not working with newest version of magisk so i recommend to use magisk 19.1, its working really good.
Also after flashing that module, download this gcam (mi a1 edition), its really good combo with module up there
