Fastboot mode doesnt work - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

Hello,
My issue is really weird. I was using No Limits rom with oos 4.5.1
Later, i've reverted back to stock rom and my actual version is Pie with OOS 9.0.7 . Also my recovery is stock at the moment.
The issue is, i can not enter to fastboot mode. İ am selecting that and pressing power button to start fb mode but my device reboots back to desktop without entering to mode. Device is up and running, no stuck at bootloop or etc.
Now i can not load any recovery, root etc. Tried all combinations to enter but doesnt work at all.
İs there any solution to solve this ?

Instead of trying to enter fastboot mode from android did you tried to enter bootloader by holding power + volume up while powering the device on.
Also if you have enabled USB debugging you should be able to enter fastboot mode by connecting to a pc and using platform tools: adb reboot bootloader

Hello, tried that ways too, and it reboots to the desktop anyway. On pc, when i wrote that command, it reboots again.
İ guess something happened to the bootloader firmware if it exists..

Problem getting TWRP working again

Hello guys, i'm having a problem, i had TWRP working fine, but i've installed a stock rom and it replaced TWRP with stock recovery, i did the Odin thingy again but now when i boot holding volume up+power+home it boots to download mode, and not to twrp... Also, is there some sort of bootloader/fastboot mode on this device? So i can use adb
Device is SM-T230NT
Try going for volume down instead of volume up. Bootloader is already unlocked and fastboot is download mode. Just open USB Debugging and you can access ADB

OP5 Needs Help: Wi-Fi Broken And Unable To Boot Into Fastboot Or Recovery Mode

Hey all, I recently flashed the xXx_NoLimits_3.5_magisk_rom
magisk module and the blu_spark_r136-custom_treble_op5-op5t_d8ba1bb.zip and my Wi-Fi function broke.
I did a backup on TWRP previously but then found out I can't boot into either recovery (not even stock recovery) or fastboot mode. I then uninstalled the xxx magisk module but still can't boot into recovery/fastboot mode. Thus, I suspect the problem is with the custom kernel. Problem is, even if I want to flash a new kernel, I can't use fastboot to install twrp boot.img
I did a factory reset but the phone just did a regular reboot with no data loss at all. Is there something I can do to get fastboot working again?

If you power down the device and power up with pressed power h volume up button what happens? Did you see the menu to select either fastboot or recovery to boot in?
Which stock oos rom do you have?

Hi, adb recovery boot, quick reboot pro app, and OP5 advanced reboot buttons didn't work, but booting into recovery manually (holding vol down + power buttons) worked, so you are right about the method. Thanks for your reply.
If you are running OOS, you flashed the wrong kernel version. Note the difference below:

blu_spark_r136-custom_treble_op5-op5t_d8ba1bb.zip

Hi dude,
if you're on stock rom try this:
reboot in bootloader/fastboot mode, connect the device to your PC,
open the prompt and type fastboot reboot.... you should solve.
Instead if you're on custom rom let me know.
If you installed some software/app and stucked into bootlooping,
you should be aware of which app you installed last and booting in recovery mode (TWRP)
try to delete it manually.
Cheers
Well

Thats the problem.
I can enter in the bootloader, the phone have the TWRP, are now whats happen but i can enter in the custom recovery.
The screen turns black and grey.
youtube com/watch?v=h9oMBpD0MZQ&feature=youtu.be
The phone dont have a custom rom, is the stock rom.
I erase the system and data in the TWRP, because a problem with my google acount in the phone. but it was worse for the phone.
The only thing i have to do is enter in the stock recovery, and the software installer(vol+ vol - and power).
I cant use the ADB minimal and fastboot. The phone is reconized by the PC, but the program no.
I think this is the only possibility, i download many firnwares, but in all the screen shows "Software install failed incompatible with current version"
In the 3% or 10%.

Wow, you erased system and data ? that's the reason because it will not boot dude.
Fortunately fastboot mode and twrp works and i think that will help you
bring your device back to life.
Do you remember latest firmware of your device ?
Which TWRP version are on ?
mmm

You flashed the TWRP but don't work ?
Fastboot mode is bootloader mode so.....
what happen if you turn off the device and restart it
holding vol - and power button until it boot into system/bootloader ?
And vol + vol - and power buttons = three buttons aka DLOAD method are used to flash a firmware
but only in android 6.
Without know the latest firmware you was running on your device
it's very difficult to revive the phone, regardless of the type of device...
Another way to try to revive the phone is a rebrand but it is a bit difficult
and you need the correct files with a working TWRP...
Sorry dude i think i cannot help you anymore...
I wish you the best

Rebooted system from TWRP, and got a Qualcomm CrashDump Mode image.

Hello everyone. Had TWRP up attempting to install Lineage when I realized Lineage does not support Oneplus 7T Pro McLaren. I was planning on either trying to reinstall Oxygen, or maybe the unofficial Lineage. I am pretty sure I was able to reboot the phone a few times holding power & volume down. I ran into some sort of sideloading issue, rebooted using power & volume down, and tried again, and it seemed to resolve it. I was attempting to sideload one of the images, and I was getting a bad zip format message. I tried to reboot the phone holding the buttons, and it wasn't working. I selected the reboot button within TWRP, and chose system.
It rebooted, and I got the Qualcomm CrashDump Mode image.
I can reboot the phone into fastboot mode holding volume up, & volume down, & power. I don't know where to go from here.

LG V35+ won't enter recovery mode

I bought the phone from AliExpress. I've tried holding all the keys in all the combinations and the phone just boots normally. I've run adb reboot bootloader, authorised access from the phone ,and it just reboots normally. I've just used LG UP to update the firmware to V350NO30d. Nothing has changed. Can anyone suggest a fix?
Additional: According to this page it's not the usual power & volume up combination. https://droidrecovery.com/lg-v35-thinq-recovery-mode/
You have to hold volume up and connect the USB cable. I tried the combination to get to download mode (volume down & connect USB) and that works. The bootloader/fastboot combination still didn't.
Update: The phone's bootloader is already unlocked. See screenshot. As I've already flashed new firmware to it using LG UP can I be sure there's not nasty spyware left on it? I wanted to do a full wipe using TWRP and return it to stock. Apparently TWRP isn't easy to use on this phone.

Ok, anyone having issue with phone not going to download mode or fastboot mode? Tried plugging usb cable with volume +/- nothing happens? Could it be because i flashed orange fox recovery? I feel its the only thing that this could happen tried flashing kdz by manually(kings tool) going to download mode but still not going to download mode when pressing volume buttons
