Offline music Android Wear 1.5? - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I wanna be able to listen to music offline from my Sony smartwatch 3. How do you sync/download music to android wear 1.5 nowadays?
I have always used Google play music for this before but i think Google have removed the offline support for android wear 1.5 now unfortunately.

[Q] Without custom ROM, the Q completely dead?

After the new Play Music apps released, I no longer able to stream music to the Q.
Do you think this is the Q last breath?
I'm also really sad about this issue. My current workaround is to use my old Nexus One with a 4.5 version of the play music app. I have 5 Nexus Q in my place and integrated them completely into my ambiance automation for volume changes & mute control in every room. My escape route from this lingering doom is to write some kind of RTP receiver for the Q's and a UPnP renderer app that doesn't just play locally but also broadcasts to the other Q's. Since I want to keep using Google Music the source will be provided by BubbleUPnP, it has an option to provide your Google Music account as a UPnP media server. I will most certainly miss the beauty of the official Google Music app for remote control, but I don't see another way without loosing the Q's.

Google Play Music V7?

Does anyone know if Google are going to ever update Play Music for the Nexus Player? All my other devices have the new interface.

Looking for a standalone music player app for Android Wear with Equalizer!

I'm looking for a standalone music player app for Android Wear with Equalizer!
I'd like to listen to music on my Bluetooth headphone without my phone. (just music on my watch + headphone)
I found an app for this, which is called "Wear Media - Music Gallery". It works perfectly, but sounds awful. No EQ settings in the app at all.
So I'm looking for something similar to Wear Media with EQ settings option!
OR:
I'm looking for a standalone headphone Equalizer app for Android Wear that I could use for any music player apps. I found one on Google Play that is called "Headphones Equalizer by ManyThingsDev", but it seems like a big lie. It says it has full support for Android Wear. No it doesn't. It doesn't even appear on my watch in the list of apps, nor in the Google Play section of my watch as an installable app.
So a real, working, standalone EQ app for the watch would be nice. If anyone knows one, please let me know!
Hi,
I've never seen any wear app with equalizer.
I'm using Musio and the sound is quite good, i.e. the same than with my Smartphone through Bluetooth.

Xtrons Google Assistant and Amazon Music

Hello. Iv recently installed my Xtrons TE706PL and it been great. One thing I can seem to get working is Google Assistant and Amazon Music.
When I say "Ok Google play xxxxx" Google assistant will open my prefered player (Amazon Music) but it will not actually play the music I have selected or any music for that matter. Is there somethung I need to do or does Google Assistant and Amazon Music not play well together? Thanks

Play Music on Android Wear <1.5 and Phone with Android >8.0

Hey folks,
After I paired my Sony Smartwatch 3 with my new Note 9, I couldn't get the Play Music app installed. (In fact, almost every Google app had to be sideloaded.) I downloaded an old Play Music apk which still had the micro apk for the watch itself inside and sideloaded that to the watch (FYI: extracted from the res>raw directory inside the apk) .
Great. Now I get a message "Your paired phone is running Android 8.0 or higher, which is not compatible with the Wear 1.0 version of Google Play Music. To use Google Play Music, upgrade your watch to Wear 2.0", as soon as I try to start the app on the watch.
I couldn't find a compatible apk that has API level <23 for use with Android Wear 1.5 on the latest version of the OS on the Sony SWR50 and still accepts paired phones with >Android 8.0. Any suggestions? The Galaxy Note 9 came with Android 8.0
Cheers, JD
I have an LG G watch 1st gen running Wear OS 1.5.0 and I really want an offline music apk too. Anyone have any ideas?
