Question about loggings. (Stock recovery).

Hello all,
I'm just new, and sorry for my bad English. But i wanted to share this information/question with you guys.
Oke so i'm not a scripter or what so ever, but if I f**k things up i like to find out and research it myself. And the problem was when I got my s7 edge , ofc I wanted to rooted it. And I did make a backup, but I felt there was something wrong and I forgot to put the backup on my pc . So after a few weeks of reflashing rerooting etc to find out why my phone somehow managed to bypass all the rom and csc tweaks. But last night I saw a log flashing by it wasn't able to restore my boot.img and it was already patched. And allot started bugging. So after hours of searching I couldn't find any fix for my boot img. So I bissicly drag it out of the .tar.md5 file , and signed it with a tool i found on the internet.
So I flashed all kinds of ways in hoping I could fix it. (Not sure if I did it or not). Here it comes ussualy when I check the logs I only see some settings flying by , what my model firmware is etc etc etc.
But now I see a log with dev notes all over the place , explaining stuf. Hope you guys still can follow me.
If I read the logs and combine the logs, I can actually see partitions geting mounted for (rw?) but failed to unmount after due some weird check he can't do.
I see partitions getting mounted where he is storing his ro.boot ETC1 compressed files.
ro.boot.warranty_bit = 1
ro.warranty_bit=1
config_always_enforce - true; enforcing=1 old_enforcing=1
And allot others of those with <dev-notes>
So is this editable? Like I said I'm really new to this. I somehow have a feeling my bootloader is locked for a part. Because I can do oem unlock an I can do root and install xposed etc. . But tweaked csc items etc from custom roms, always get resetted.
So my phone is still open in this log for a hour, like I said I'm a noob in this stuf. Trying to figure out how to fix my boot.img back to normal.
Hope someone can clarify what these settings are and if they are editable, Thank you!

Some additional info why I also post this.
I reflashed the homemade images allot with odin, without auto reboot. I wanted to make sure it really did flash correctly. I also formatted everything in twrp before I started flashing. So at the final flash I ticked auto reboot, knowing it would say applying update and so on. But the figure went dead instantly and booted me into recovery. And saw those logs comming by.

Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime IMEI null with no EFS backup

This is my first post on xda even after using these forums for years. But today I cant find a solution on here or anywhere for that fact, and was literally hoping that I've missed something somewhere.
So to start. I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (SM-G570F). The other day I was flashing a custom rom when something went wrong during the flashing process and left me with a bricked device. Now I did do a full backup before flashing as I've learned the hard way how important this is. During the flashing it also asked me for a full wipe and to backup the EFS. Even though I did do all the backups and wiped everything< I've ticked both boxes and proceeded with the installation. Everything seemed fine but on 99.9% it froze. Not wanting to do anything I left it until it rebooted the phone by itself, where I was greeted with the download/flash screen. Didn't even give the warning about installing custom software and asked to continue. It just booted straight to the download screen. Tried getting back into recovery only to be greeted with download screen. No matter what I did it just kept booting into download mode. So I then re-flashed TWRP. Getting into the recovery I was able to mount EFS, System, Data, etc. Bu all showed 0mb of 0mb available. I then went to restore everything only to find that the SD Card was also wiped by the process. Thinking that maybe the recovery isn't reading everything correctly, I found the SD Card empty in windows also. No call me names or whatever, (I know my own stupidity) but I never backed up my backups on my PC. So I just proceeded flashing stock firmware as to start from scratch. Everything went as planned until the device got reset by odin. I was greeted with a screen saying "installing system update", but as soon as it reach 32% it changes to "erasing" and then "error" with the "DRK Missing" error. Then it boots to recovery where an error message is saying "unable to mount: EFS (Device or Recourse busy). I cleared cache and did a factory reset and it booted the system (Though mount error still appears in recovery even in custom TWRP/CWM recoveries also). Now I have a 00000..... IMEI number and no network connection. I've spent the last week on the web trying to find a solution with no luck. I'm tired AF because I didn't sleep trying to solve this. I tried flashing stock and custom roms, recovery's, boot-loaders, modems. Tried different software's like Samsung Tool, IMEI repair tool, Strings of adb commands, xposed modules, apps, terminals, etc. I even flashed factory binaries with no luck as to how to change it back.
So in short.
My EFS got wiped.
I lost my IMEI.
I don't have any backups.
Been awake for a week searching for solutions with no luck.
So please if anyone knows of a way to change the IMEI, please help me. I know It's illegal to change IMEI (though not in my country). But I down't want to change it for all the wrong reasons. I just want to change it back to the original found on the back of the phone and on the box. This can't do any harm can it? Please I just want my phone back please!

If this problem is still open, then on Your Phone box is writen imei, or take battery out and under serial number there will be your imei, root your device and use IMEI changer grant root access and type your imei in it, after that reboot and your imei should pop up! I had same issue and this steps made my day! THIS WORKS ONLY ON YOUR IMEI, YOU CAN'T CRACK, STEAL IMEI By this method, don't believe those Dumb ****'s from YouTube!

So I realized that You are Also facing a problem Like me and now Mine is Solved
Just dont upgrade Your Mobile and Downgrade to android 6.0.1
and try to flash someone else efs and then it wil give u ur own imei and u will be hapy

N910F Stock firmware corrupted.

My note 4, randomly crashed, running completely stock.
Began bootlooping and hasn't stopped.
Have downloaded firmwares from Samsung-Firmware . org, as SamMobile will literally not allow me to download anything for free??
No firmware has worked on the device, Have tried numerous PDA versions as I am unsure which the phone originally is.
The first firmware gave the error "dm-verity verification failed" in the recovery menu.
Have wiped cache and data.
Note: This is actually the second N910F which had corrupted itself and stopped working.

Do you want to recover some data from it?
If Not than you can try factory reset from Recovery menu.
Other than that it might be memory corrupted or your battery.
Try to change the battery.

No data to recover, have tried factory reset from recovery menu, sure will try another battery.

New battery: Allowed the phone to boot past the first "Samsung Note 4" screen to : "Samsung" logo, but the phone made a loud beep/screech.

If you want to reflash the Stock ROM search for a version on https://updato.com
I just reflashed mine (g910f) even twice as I had an Infini-Boot, too. After cleaning Dalvik/Cache and formatting data, taking out the battery, after some time it suddenly displayed that it's going to setup apps and it works since then ...
So maybe just be patient.

to get the latest stock rom for your device, free and fast
look what you have to do:
download this (windows ) application and install it on your windows pc.
This is the aplication that will allow you to search and download the latest stock rom for your phone.
It connect to Samsung servers and in very little time you will have a new stock rom on your pc.
choose samfirm 3.06
extract it on a folder on your PC and run samfirm.exe
in the opening menu type
SM-N910F(or T/V/W etc your phones model)
REGION..... xxx (your region code)
these 2 you can find in a sticker under your battery if you open the phone and take off the battery
tick '' BINARY NATURE''
(If you dont tick BINARY...'' you will get the whole stock rom in one file xxxx.tar.md5 to flash it in the oding using the AP tab)
CHECK UPDATES>DOWNLOAD
THIS WAY YOU WILL GET THE LATEST STOCK ROM FOR YOUR PHONE/REGION
Binary nature means the rom split in 4 files
1. BL- bootloader
2.AP - rom
3. CP - modem
4. CSC - Customer support code(region/country)
This is what a stock rom is consist of
this kind of rom is also called REPAIR ROM, because you can use it to repair your phone.
If you look in odin you will find exactly these 4 entries.
So you can put each in the appropriate box and flash them all and so have a stock rom.
push start
Wait until rom flashes and phone reboots.
Hopefully it will solve your problem and everything will go as we all wish to.
BUT, from what you are describing, i am afraid for 2 things:
1. Your battery is almost dead, thats the good scenario .
With 20 $ you will solve it.
So new battery, new rom> problem solved, or
2. You are starting to have the emmc failure on your phone.
Thats a tough one.
Lets hope its not the case.

some basic questions on sm-t235 re: root/custom rom/custom recovery

Hi,
the other day a friend gave me her old Samsung tab 4 7.0 (SM-T235). It's in its default state, running Android 5.1.1 stock ROM with all the most recent (5 year old) updates. "KNOX" appears to be ok, afaik.
This is my first Samsung device, up to the date I had experience with HTC Desire, Sony Xperia (2x) and OnePlus devices. I unlocked / rooted and installed custom ROMs on all of them.
Done quite a bit of googling and playing around with my "new" Samsung to see where it's different compared to my other devices. But there still are some blank spots, and there doesn't seem to be too much information out there regarding that specific tab 4 device. Before I start messing around I'd love to have some input from experienced Samsung users in regards to custom recoveries and ROMs, and possibly rooting. If there are comprehensive guides etc. out there that I simply didn't find don't hesitate to give me some hints:
First of all it appears to me that this device is going under the codename "degas". Correct? (meanwhile confirmed)
I hooked up the device to my PC, made sure that adb found it alright, then called "adb reboot recovery". That worked nicely, got me into Samsung recovery
Next I again tried to connect through ADB to the device still being in recovery, but that didn't work. To be expected?
Still in recovery I chose the "boot to bootloader" option, but that got me back into system instead.
So from system I again connected to adb then called "adb reboot bootloader". Device booted alright, but again it just rebooted into system.

Trying to find out what has to be done in order to flash a custom ROM (rooted or not): from what I get, and unlike my other devices, I do not have to unlock the device / bootloader to begin with. It looks as if it was sufficient to boot into what they call "download mode", then hook up the device to my PC where ODIN is waiting already. Following this thread (and others) it then is sufficient to just flash TWRP from ODIN, boot to recovery and then do what is usually done here (like flash custom ROM, flash Gapps and possibly Magisk etc.). Is there something else / important I should know / observe?
Speaking about TWRP and Custom ROMs: TWRP.me lists that device on their site. So has anyone here flashed latest TWRP (3.6.2_x)? Or should I rather start with an older version like the one listed here, then possibly upgrade from there?
In regards to Custom ROMs I basically just found this LOS 16 thread (which is the same linked in the previous "TWRP" bullet). I assume that's it, or does anyone know about a newer android version (which I didn't find so far)? There seems to be lots of activity around "matisse" and "millet", but apparently those aren't the right devices, right?
Back to recovery: I see that in stock recovery there is an option to "wipe data/factory reset": should I do that before flashing TWRP from ODIN, or is it sufficient to wipe everything once I booted into TWRP?
I'm aware that I'll lose "Knox" as soon as I flash a different ROM / Recovery. As I don't want to use the tab 4 in some critical "BYOD" area I don't care (neither do I care about warranty, that's long gone anyways). But just to be sure: is it true that I'll lose "Knox" access?
In case I would decide to "go back" to stock ROM one day, how would I proceed then? Would ODIN still work so that I can flash latest stock ROM? Would Knox then be restored, or is that a thing of the past once I leave the stock ROM path?
Again: if you think I've done a bad job searching for answers don't hesitate to let me know but please be so kind then to hint the phrases I should look for ("SM-T235" really doesn't bring up that much valuable info)

Update 2022-08-03: meanwhile I realized that the device is connected to my PC through generic drivers. Would it help to install specific Samsung drivers although both ADB and ODIN are acknowledging the device? Or can I just neglect that?

Since no answers came in I dared to just try. Meanwhile I'm running the device on LOS 16 with TWRP 3.5.2_9. Then flashed MindTheGapps (arm/Android 9 flavour)The switch wasn't as easy as I expected for some reason not obvious to me (somehow I couldn't get into TWRP after flashing it through ODIN. Then after the ~25th attempt it suddenly worked). Meanwhile I installed the official Samsung drivers, and maybe that helped, in combination with other adjustments I lost trace of...
I'll answer some of the above questions, for anyone who's interested:
#3: while in recovery (TWRP 3.5.2, as it is now) I still cannot access the device through adb. But I have access from windows' file explorer, so at least I can exchange files while being in recovery. Strange thing, this is the only one of my devices that behaves this way. The other day I'll try again from a Linux machine. maybe that works...
#4/5/6: boot to bootloader still doesn't work no matter what I try - devices always boots back into system
#7: Once I managed to get into TWRP the rest was a breeze
#8: I tried TWRP 3.6.0_9-0 which worked but on every boot into recovery it shows first a red notice that recovery was not enforcing SEAndroid. The notice then turns into blue and a second later TWRP logo shows up. This dowsn't happen with TWRP 3.5.2_9, so I stay there for the time being. Then I felt lucky and installed TWRP 3.6.2_9 image from running TWRP recovery, then rebooted. That again showed the red "not enforcing" message - and got stuck there. Solution was to get back into "Download mode" then re-flash TWRP 3.5.2 through ODIN.
Conclusion TWRP 3.6.2 is not fit to be used on that device (no, I didn't try 3.6.1...)
#9: since there aren't any more security updates released by google for A9 ROMs it would really be great to be able to upgrade to an A10 or even A11 ROM... anyone ever tried to use a "matisse" or "millet" ROM?
#10: I decided to use that - wiping everything that was on the device then doing a factory reset as well before flashing LOS 16. Then after first boot into LOS 16 a strange thing happened: when I made a basic setting (in regards to location services" the device told me that in a previous version I had decided to NOT allow google to use those services: after all that wiping and factory resetting: how could the device know that? By that time I had not yet logged myself into Google. Very mysterious!
#11/12: I guess I know the answer: I'm out of "Knox" now once and forever. And apparently ODIN is still working and recognizing the device.

[issue found][archived] FRP / OEM locked device that won't start OS

Edit 3: TL;DR: This is appears to be an S8 exclusive error, it's shown in the recovery:
"Product device tree not found, couldn't verify firmware" or something like that. For solutions, please look that up.
So, I bought a bootlooping S8 in the hopes of fixing it.
Since OEM and FRP lock are on, I went with installing Samsung firmware on it, as installing a custom recovery at this point is not possible.
The default recovery wouldn't work, so I wasn't able to know which firmware exactly to flash, because I couldn't find out which model exactly I have bought.
I do not know the carrier of the device either, but it should be from some german provider.
All of the firmwares I tried just bootlooped, but the recovery works again, except for ADB, which is quite unfortunate, and I have no idea why it fails, the device shows up when I'm in the recovery menu, but as soon as I activate ADB, it's gone from the list of connected devices.
Combination firmwares sometimes show some turning gears animations, but then crash with some, thought often memory related, pretty random crash issue.
Another problem I am now facing is that in the process of trying to find a working firmware I now upgraded the devices "binary level"? (forgot what exactly it was called) to 6, so I can't flash any older firmware or combination firmware than 6, since downgrading isn't allowed.
I received the device with either binary level 1 oder 2.
My theory is that I don't have the right firmware, since I keep seeing dm-verity and license errors...
I am happy to provide logs if necessary.
The goal is to have an unlocked bootloader/ custom recovery.
I literally am going INSANE over this FRP blocking me from flashing TWRP and being done with this in under 10 minutes, please help :c

Edit 1: With the IMEI code i found while opening the phone I now know my model number: SM-G950FZKADBT.
Any tips for finding the PDA code of the originally installed system? Or finding a matching firmware?
Is this even neccesary? Why do official firmwares not work for me? :c
Edit 2: Somewhat solution: I think the only way to recover this device would be to find it's firmware, which is just NOT to be found...
So, until a miracle happens I'm gonna keep reading "Firmware is not valid" errors in the log

Did you look in samfrew.com ? ? ? I just grabbed a fw from there.
The dnld was loooong so I purchased a privilege for faster speed . . .
