Suggest Me a Buttery Smooth ROM for Zuk Z1

I have tried more than 7-8 ROMs in this device so far haven't sit on any yet.all I want is the ROM to be super smooth with minimal features. Please help me out guys :angel:

Which luancher do you use with it.. The v luancher or pixel luancher ?

Both are good
But the pixel launcher has an edge bcoz of its force touch gestures

Got any other ROMs guy's?

Go for nuclearom (nougat). Its buttery smooth in animations and user experience.

I tried more than you, if you don't care about features, only you want super fast and smooth rom, then you try either Hexagon rom based on ( lineage)

I tried every rom in this forum.. seriously.. and now i am on RR 5.8.2. Not 5.8.3 because it is still buggy!! All of them gave me minimum 5.5 h SOT
RR 5.8.2 is the best rom till now i have tried.. very very stable, full substratum support, very good battery life (SOT 5.5- 6) as it has equipped with RA kernel.. and finally you have every avalible Android feature on this planet inside it.
Hopefully i was useful, i had your question once upon a time
If you just want battery life.. go for Nuclear rom 6. no rom will give you like it.

The smoothest and most stable rom i have ever tried.
I have modifed animation scale to zero, flashed dolby atom 6, i really have a monster now.
I am getting 15% battery reducing per h on wifi with 1h SOT while network and gps are on and the display at 50%
I am finishing over 20 h with over 5.5 SOT including over 2h web browser, 1h calling, and the rest are mixed consuming.
Dont forget that my battery is really old now, 5.5 would be 6.5 at least with new battery.

Is there any network issue in the ROM or is it perfect ? i have faced network issue on all LOS based ROM's..

No at all!! If you have then i advice you with AOSP-CAF rom like DU 6 or 7 or candy rom nogut i mentioned above, it is the fastest rom i have tried , i did not like it because i had problems only with 60 fps video shoot, other than this, it is very stable, insanely fast, very good battery life, and i am pretty sure will be the best for the hardware compatibility, this means if you flash it and still have problems then think about a hardware defect!

Bro's just try cr droid v3.4 , don't know about latest 3.6, haven't tried it yet, on stock settings 6+ hrs. Sot, even more customisation than rr, still more smooth than nuclear or lineage.
This sot with ambient display on, so all sensors using all time.
For me, i changed kernel settings to multicore-> aggresive and max cpu to 1.2 ghz.....7+ hrs sot regular , full time lte on , no wifi.

Best OnePlus 6T ROM?

Hi!
I use OnePlus 6T since February and I have never had any problem/issue but I would like to try something new on my device, maybe gaining in battery life and performance, as well as appeareance. Could you suggest me any ROM? Main key is that should be stable, then the other aspects I've written before.

Bootleggers. Or AOSiP. But in terms of Battery Life, SkyDragon is the Best. I suggest you flash them one by one and see which one suites you

1 SkyDragon = 8/10
2 HAVOC-OS = 7/10
3 Bootleggers. = 6.5/10
8 months of experience and I am still on it

I never used SkyDragon as Daily Driver. Ran it for a few times when it was maintained by HolyAngel. I haven't even flashed the New Version yet. According to a lot of people, SkyDragon is best for battery life. But Stock OOS + Omega Kernel is also good. It's about personal preference. I really don't like the UI of Omni so I Use Bootleggers as my Daily with Illusion Kernel. I have no problems hitting 7-8 Hrs Screen On with a 24 Hours Standby. With my normal usage.

I can only speak about 9013 OOS because that's when I flashed skydragon. Yes, compared to the older stock OOS release skydragon has better battery. Keep in mind I believe the superb battery life comes from the kernel which you could flash separate to another ROM.

I have no issues with battery life and can't convince myself to switch because the gesture based navigation on OOS is superior to all other options I have seen. I have not tried a third party rom in a while though so no idea if they have improved on that front, but my opinion is that if you use gesture based navigation flash a kernel onto OOS to improve battery life but enjoy the fact that OOS is probably the best OEM Stock rom available to android users.
Another issue with 3rd party roms I have consistently had on the 6T when I have tried them is that when connected to bluetooth in my car, my car does not recognize a cell connection from the phone. This prevents me from dialing out via the car(though I can still accept incoming calls). This can be annoying having to pick up my phone to dial out while driving. I have not seen a way to fix this issue and it is probably a bigger reason than the gesture navigation keeping me on stock OOS. I drive a 2017 Toyota Camry for what it is worth.

I have been in the same boat and have decided to stick with OOS for a while. I found an article or 2 about removing bloat ware on xda, did that. Rooted and unlocked. Used Titanium and AppOps to restrict app permissions and put google on a leash. Downloaded the Pixel 3 camera. Installed OxyTweaker for Magisk ( also on xda )module and my battery has lasted 35+ hours on a charge with moderate use.
Also removed the OOS spyware and OOS bloat.
I may try Lineage with Micro G if and when they get around to an official release to see if my core, must have apps will work without Lord Google, but I am leaning toward keeping OOS now that it is trimmed down and the battery life is insane.

I tried RR, aex, omni, oos, aosip, viperOS, siberiaOS...
And the best one for me is treskmod. The most smooth, the better on battery and it has enough personalization for me.

I like asoip now mainly like it better than omni for working video calling and bromite.

There is no Best rom. There are different roms out there that suits the users needs. If you want a rom that's simple use a rom the lineage or if you like tons of options try Havoc os. To me its all up to the user and what the user wants and is looking for in a rom.. There are a few roms out there check them out and try them see what suits you..

Performance on AOSP vs MIUI

As I install many AOSP, LOS base both CAF and non-CAF ROMs and I feel app loading speed on MIUI is faster, it quite sad because I love smooth animation on AOSP and LOS also background killing behavior
Battery seem to be the same on all ROM.

Also battery drain on MIUI is horrible even on well known optimized ROM xiaomi.eu

Sorry but did you record the exact time when you wait for apps to fully load on each ROM? How many (mili)seconds faster/slower were they? Does 1-2 second difference really matter that much?
Your opinion on battery drain is confusing: First, "Battery seem to be the same on all ROM."; then "Also battery drain on MIUI is horrible".

I flashed Aosip, Mooke etc but always get back to xiaomi.eu Android 10 , I think it's better .

I also like pixel experience but lack of features, and after installing xposed battery drain, back to miuipro.
Also no call recorder in pixel experience. So miui is the thing for now (obviously after debloating)

I've tried several AOSP roms but all of them gave me bad battery back up. MIUI battery backup is much better. I'm using Poco X2.

xiaomi.eu weekly 9.10.17

For me, MIUI is laggy and slow mess. Gets really slow as soon as you start using phone.
I recommend Lineage OS 16 by AmulyaX. This is by far the smoothest ROM available to our phone.

I totally agree. The only thing I'm missing in this ROM is FM radio.

FM Radio is in the Rom and its working

How smooth compare to XPerience ?

I try a lot custom roms aosp PE, LOS, Syberia, etc, all them have poor battery and some bugs
Now i'm in last xiaomi.eu stable (miui 11) veeeery smooth, good batery life and performance. no bugs. And notifications don't dissapear.

Agree, miui 11 has "automated task" it can auto turn off wifi over-night and turn back on in the morning. I use this automated task + naptime almost zero battery drain overnight. I just miss the smooth of caf base rom. Miui has much more useful feature and navigation gesture of miui is far better than Google does

Hi, I'm currently using miui 12.5 (android 10), and I'd like to "renovate" my lavender with a new and updated custom rom. Which one is the best, regarding battery life, performance, smoothness, stability?
I've read few posts about Pixel Experience, AwakenOS and crDroid. I'm a bit concerned about possible battery drain problems. Thanks for your help

So far I've only tried AwakenOS and ArrowOS and it looks like ArrowOS has better battery life.
But I've read positive experiences with SparkOS, so maybe you can try SparkOS.

In the while I tried ArrowOS and the battery life is indeed exceptional! I'm very satisfied

I have used both arrow os and spark os. Each of them for a week now.
Note that I have a 3gb ram phone.
Spark os felt a bit laggy. For example when I taped on a WhatsApp conversation to open it the animation felt not so smooth.
There are battery options to save more battery and other few nice extra features to tweak this and that as well. Spark OS has face unlock. Couldn't keep a few apps open because I got only about 400MB of free RAM.
Arrow OS on the other hand gave me less battery life. Maybe it's just me. But the whole ui was much smoother. Does not have face unlock. When I first installed it without updating firmware, I got about 800mb fee ram and now I have only 400mb left. (as much as spark os)
