I understand what your saying but it will encourage the wrong thing. Lets have the moderators close this thread and the developers can post in the other thread. Already a good discusion started there.

I agree, some guy posted "new version is up" compared to the developer actually comes in and posts a nice thread with pictures. Can't believe people want this one deleted.

Before I download this (older beta version was very hard to uninstall)... How is the landscape support? I use my device almost 50% in landscape mode.

It seems to work fine i landscape mode, but S2U2 1.00 has some trouble.
When pressing power button to activate S2U2, it won't activate properly. Pointui overrides S2U2... Also when the phone times-out, and S2U2 activates, I can press power twice to unlock the phone...
Anyone knows how to fix this?

Personally, if someone told me to close one of my own ROM's threads or any of my kitchen's threads, and join a thread someone else created about the ROM, I would NOT want to do it. I wouldn't be able to update the Original post with anything. The first post SHOULD be the developer's thread. What they CAN do is merge the threads by adding that other thread into the end of this one.

Point One: I suspect he's only trying to help and so probably doesn't deserve your little rant - what exactly qualifies you to issue orders here?
Point Two: Perhaps the person opening the thread should have followed the rules of the forum and checked for another thread on the same topic (which was right at the top of this thread for most of yesterday evening) before starting a new one.
Importantly, no crime was committed here so let's lighten up a bit.

This thread was aparently started by the developer. My little rant is acceptable. I don't issue orders, and this guy shouldn't either bud, that was exactly my point because that is exactly what HE is trying to do.

That really isnt the type of contribution that we need here either. I made about 50+ posts before i ever made a real contribution, let alone went almost a year before ever making a first post. So do not judge someone by post count or what you feel is useful or not. Half of the good things that come from us here at XDA is just in ideas that lead to great things.
So i say bring on the shell 3 themes!

I also eagerly await Spb MS 3 skins!!!

It might not be right what he did, i'm not here to judge but it is really the time to talk about it. Since the default skin is not very impressive maybe some skiners are willing to start building some. I want to install the new version but thats not going to happen as long as the only skin out there is the default one. Besides the functionality i want my phone to look good as well.

here is my contribution stay on topic and perhaps folks can post a list of what they know to be files that are easily changed to mod some of the basic graphics in SPBMS3.

Sorry but I am very bad speak English and I can not explain.

Adding some walls I tried with the lifestyle layout. All of them where found lying around on the web.

I dont know about you guys but i think someone that ACTUALLY knows how to structure a thread for SKINS should create a thread for SPB 3.0 skins and maybe this thread belongs here.

mvp. there is no difference between a 30k post member and yourself. It is tho, suggested, that instead of opening this thread to just suggest the creation of SPBMS3 skins, you, or whoever else that designed one and would like to keep it neat, would open it.
No hard feelings. I will now close this thread. If you (or anyone else for that matter) is willing to open a new thread, with a new skin, and is willing to keep it tidy enough, I will sticky it since this is gonna be a huge one and it's preferable to start it without a bunch of argumentative posts.
I will also EDIT the thread created to contain the rules on posting the skins (just like in the M2D thread, which is tidy and doesn't contain lots of posts since I delete posts which aren't new skins).

Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever seen any. Actually up until just now, I had never heard of the Amico before. Sorry.

Haha! Yes, upgrade frenzy. I also have a galaxy tab 10.1 silver and have had an iPad and two Viewsonic gtabs. I'm addicted!

I installed VegaComb 3.2 and it's definitely the best Rom yet. Excellent job! The only problem I'm having is with my keyboard add-on. It worked with Paul's 1.09 Rom with the USB switcher, but is there anyway to get it working with VegaComb 3.2, as it's not being recognized when it's plugged in.

You need to put Vegacomb into USB Host mode by holding the back button down during boot up.

I am pissed off @ xda because of the unfriendly treatment of new members (even though I am a dev, with enough experience). I will never post my ROM on a ****ty site like XDA, I had to spam 13 posts (deeply sorry for it) and still I cannot make my own thread in development, well I give up. If you want my ROM here it is

Did you PM the moderator that is dedicated to this forum abut getting the limit lowered/removed? - No.
Did you contact the forum admin team about the same? - No.
Have you filled in a Recognised Developer application form? - No.
Instead of using a bit of common sense you decide to "spam" (as you put it) XDA & then whinge.
The limit is removed when the user database is updated, usually every 6 hours. But you would of known that had you just searched.
Shut the door on your way out.

I'm using vegacomb in my viewpad. I want to change into viewcomb. However, I can't install driver to my window XP by doing same procedure when I upgraded my viewpad from android 2.2 to 3.2 previously. So, windowXP cannot recognize my hardware and I can't execute my viewcomb file in window. What can I do? Please help!!

so here are some tips,
-NEVER EVER PANIC!,
i know some of us are new and have no experience with android, and suddenly we did something wrong and our phone got bricked...
please don't post:
"Please help my phone is brick, Im desperate!!!!, help me please, i dont know what to do!!!" (Dont ever do this!)
Do it in a proper manner like this:
Make sure to write every detail you did before doing something so that you can narrate what happened and hopefully we can try and fix it
"Please help me, I tried to flash XYZ rom and when i tried to install it using recovery mode by Vol Up+Home+Power i get a successful install message, however when i turned on my phone it got stuck on bootloop, can u help me with this?, i tried download mode Vol Down+Home+Power and tried odin too but it does not work

-any rom/kernel release question should go to the development thread, also its rude to ask for ETA's (estimated time at)

Additional Suggestions for New Users Posting Threads
Here are a couple of suggestions:
1. Make your thread titles meaningful. I know this has been said many, many, many times before but some users really don't have the notion as to what the purpose of thread titles are. Some even make titles which are highly irrelevant. As much as possible, your thread title must be consistent with the contents of your post. Don't be afraid or lazy to describe your content with a few more words.
2. Use tags. This ever-underutilized feature of the board needs exploitation. For those who are not aware, tags help users find relevant information more easily. You'll get more thanks if you tag your posts because the chances of someone searching for information to hit them are higher, trust me.

Cow Rom discussion thread

I want to release a themed cm10.1 rom and the purpose of this thread is to discuss colors, icons, bootanimations useful apps and all sort of things that will be included into the rom. As usual in XDA there will be no ETA but there will be a cow rom soon.
On topic for development. . I'm really looking forward to all the nice pictures, drawings, wallpapers, useful suggestions you will post my friends.
Everybody who likes to join in is welcome.
So please everybody use this thread only for rom related discussion, for off topic use the relevant threads.:angel:

Any ideas about what to remove? IMHO the list of excluded apps as seen in Asylum is a good base. I addition maybe the useless file and DSP manager.
Any tweaks like CrossBreeder, or addon.d scripts?

Download the above file. It has 41 frames, extract the jpegs separately because Macs tend to get lot of hidden files. Add your text file. The pixels are 800/1280.

So, is this a new "Official Off-topic thread? Not official but with a cow as camouflage?
For my part I liked the calmness and concentration on the device after the closing of the "Offical Off-Topic"-thread.
That's why I ask if this is a reanimation or has a real N7000-related background.

No offence - but what's your problem man? camouflage? no real background? That's strong stuff in my eyes!
There's a new dev - vet-note. And there will be an new rom very, very soon. If you gave yourself the chance to read a bit - you would know.
And the difference is - the team around the dev dislikes to discuss about development as dry as a bone.
There is already a bootanimation, parts of the theme and a rom in alpha-stadium. but already flashed and running. not published yet - truely. As you know - threads in dev sections aren't allowed until the rom is released. So the team meets here to support the dev in the alpha and beta stadium. Later here will be the discussion thread for the new Cow-Rom.
You think it's a fake regarding the name? You are wrong!
And be asured - this discussion might be slightly different from the way you prefer.... :angel:
So if you don't like it, why don't you concentrate on your really good work around XXLSZ?
So this is an open forum. As long as there is no breaking of rules - let the people do the job the way they like it. And please don't asume any "bad". ok?
