Do I need to flash the vdmeta? If yes what is the command. I'm on stock MIUI rom & just unlock the bootloader. I want to flash Resurrection Remix rom.
I didn't flash it, and I just installed RR and AEX without issue.

So, I have got an idea. After flashing my RR CustomRom, I realized I can go for next step and do a MultiRom Adventure. I was wondering if it's possible to flash a STOCK Rom besides the current RR CustomRom and have both of them into my MultiRom Recovery.
What do you think ?
If you think it's possible and OK, please give me link to STOCK Rom preferably 5.1.1 international. My BL is unlocked and I am rooted ofc.

Isn't that the thread which should be used in case the user encounters any problem when reverting from OOS3/H2OS based roms ?
I guess the OP asked for instructions on how to get back to CM after flashing OOS3 , until and unless he screws up , he wont be needing it

I also faced same problem as him, which is I want to revert to CM13 after flash OOS3
Here is the simple way to move back and forth...I do it regularly...sometimes more than once a day! Keep in mind this-CM13 and Oxygen 2 versions are on the old TWRP and Hydrogen MM and Oxygen 3.0 are on the new TWRP. So look up two zips one is the revert2lollipop and flash that before flashing CM13 or Oxygen 2.O Roms. It will boot you into the correct TWRP. Find the zip H2OS_TWRP3+MMFIRMW and flash that before flashing Oxygen 3 or Hydrogen MM. It will boot you into the right TWRP. So my method if I'm on CM13 is just to boot into TWRP flash H2OS_TWRP3+MMFIRMW and it will reboot and then wipe all but internal and then flash either Hydrogen MM or the Oxygen 3 ROM or the appropriate nandroid backup...if you are in Oxygen 3 just flash the revert2lollipop and it will reboot in to the right TWRP then full wipe and flash CM13. I have done it many times with no issues. Some CM13 also require a new modem but just flash that if you get FCs in the setup...

flash the 3.0.2-5, do a clean flash of cm14.1, or downgrade to the stable release

I have also fn and got no problems with rom.
Did you wipe before flashing? Make full wipe and try re flashing rom.

Yeah i wiped everyting but still nothing..which rom do you have?

yeah i flashed back and it works fine...i am on mm bootloader and i cant use Nick's rom so i flashed zonik's which is a port.maybe the problem is with the rom.

That explains a lot. There is many problems with MM bootloader. I couldn't even flash twrp to my bootloader only f version worked correctly.
If you want to use cm you should downgrade to ll first.

No I don't think that would work due to what firmware you need to be on if its zoinks cm 13 its mm firmware if its nicks or RR its ll

Yes i know thar zoniks rom requires mm firmware...but i will downgrade to ll to flash nicks.Because i think that the sim error is a problem of zoniks rom.

I have the H910 version. I was on Lineage 16.1 and decided to downgrade back to 15.1. I did a clean flash and went back to 15.1.. but the fingerprint stopped working. I seen I needed to install 14.1 to get it back.. so I did another clean flash and flashed 14.1 along with gapps. Fingerprint still not working.. What am i gonna have to do?

You may need to flash a stock Rom back then rehash lineage of your choice.......

It probably doesn't matter you only flashing it back to access a reset of the finger print reader......
But to be on the safe side and prevent issues with boot loader go with Oreo......that way lineage will work .

you need to flash back to full nougat firmware and a stock Nougat based Rom.. Setup fingerprint and flash Los 15.1
