Miui.Eu Room safe to flash? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

I have a version of Rn7 PFGMIXM 48mp cam unlocked bootloader I wonder if it safe to flash Miui.eu Rom? Some user said eu.rom based on China rom? So if if flash it and lock my bootloader it will brick my device?

I flashed 2 RN7 yesterday with the eu rom. Everything is fine. It is based on the China Version but it will not brick your device. At least it didn't brick mine

Thank you for reply, if I lock bootloader my Rn7 it will brick my device? Since the EU Rom based on China rom?

Yes, it's based on china ROM, but technically it's a custom ROM. You can only lock bootloader if your phone has an unmodified stock ROM, which is matching your phone's original region. For example if your phone ran global MIUI out of the box, you can't use chinese MIUI ROM, or any other ROM with locked bootloader, it would brick your device.

I use xiaomi eu on note7 and i used it on my previous xiaomi phones. If you want to stay on miui but a bit cleaner version, xiaomi eu is a way to go.

I'm using it already now thank you for those who answered my question.
What if i decide to flash my official global stock rom and lock bootloader again of my Rn7 it is safe to do that?

Yes it's safe, as long you use a Fastboot ROM for your stock rom (EEA, Global, CN) then flash it with MIFlashTool from official site and the phone will be as new one. :good:

Bootloader and modem question

How do I know which bootloader do I have? I'm currently running build B35.
Can someone direct me to a thread how to flash universal bootloader and modem?
If I use bkores flash toolkit, it said you have to flash universal bootloader, modem along with Rom and Gapps but in which order?
If using twrp for future flash do I need to flash universal bootloader and modem every time I switch ROM?
I'm not an expert but here's what I understand.
1. You don't have to worry which version you have unless you're flashing a custom ROM, usually for Nougat you want the B15 and for Oreo you want the B35.
2.Universal Bootloader>Modem>ROM>GApps>Magisk/SuperSU
3.You only need to flash it once if you're switching ROMs with the same android version.

If you haven't you need to unlock your bootloader before you can start flashing custom ROM. You can find a guide on how to do it here.

Install GLOBAL firmware after root and unlock bootloader

Hello everyone.
I will give my wife my grade 7.
My redmi note 7 is rooted with magisk and twrp installed.
I would like to leave him a clean phone, without custom ROMs etc ... and with a recovery stock.
I would like to flash him a Global ROM from MIUI.
For that :
1 / Do I use Miflash to install a global firmware?
2 / Is it better to check the box relock bootloader? I read that this could lead to some hard brick xiaomi ?
thank's for your answer
Miflash? Why not.
Looked? Why
Unlocked. Maybe u can fix it!
Stock? Why?
Batterylfe?
Adaption?
Hello
Quick question about using a Firwmare MIUI stock version and OTA updates.
Can OTA updates be done automatically if the bootloader is unblocked (no root / stock recovery) ?
Thank you in advance.
