My Mobile suddenly done a factory reset itself from 4 days ago i tried to stop it but useless so i tried to recover data but useless i lost everything it's so sad cuz i used to do a backup everyday so i installed a custom recovery & once i reset factory the icons & everything not the same soft so i need help in this points urgently :
1- how to unlock a bootloader for free not paid with tools or if not what sites do this & how much?
2-how to backup all phone firmware via computer or mobile like recovery partition etc ?
3-i want to download recovery.img & all firmware for my mobile where ?
4- i want to flash my mobile with the firmware to restore original firmware with original recovery how & what's the steps ?

i wiped data/factory reset my Samsung gs 4 after which all the good apps were erased and i can't access recovery. when i press v up home and power i get this photo (see attachments) so how to fix this? can i fix it by flashing official firmware? what should i exactly do please help
my device isn't rooted.... firmware v 4.2.2

U cannot get back erased applications until u hv a backup. U may restore them from google account in case u opted in option to keep backup there during setting up of ur phone.
For recovery u can download the recovery of ur choice if u want & flash it via odin.
If u want to be on stock just flash stock firmware or wanam stock rom & u would b back to stock.

If you don't know what you are doing my advice would be to
go to http://SamMobile.com and download the official kitkat
4.4.2 SM-900 firmware and flash it using Odin.
Be sure to do a full wipe including system, data, cache, dalvik
and last but not least a factory reset in twrp or cwm recovery
before you start the odin flash.
You will need to re-root your phone afterwards and install twrp
or cwm recovery. This is the surest way to resolve your network
and other issues.
This will give you a fresh clean start.
This will solve it.
Do you have twrp or cwm backup.
if not reflash VN rom 14.1 and you should get it back. secondly you can flash the modem attached.
1. wipe the device including internal memory in the twrp memory. put the phone in download mode. flash the modem via cwm rcovery
2. go back to recovery do just a factory reset.
3 now get any 4.4.2 stock rom for your region from sammobile and flash it using odin.
when the phone is rebooting and you see the Samsung logo pull the battery. put the battery back, go back to recovery do a factory reset. then let the boot complete.
it should be fine.

Hello, How do I reflash the vn? I am new to samsung phones? can you point me in the right direction? how do you do a cwn recovery? i already downloaded the firmware from my region and odin.

try to flash a new kernel might solve the problem

sorry didn't understand you I was answering the op.
if you flashed vn rom earlier you should just do it again. just make sure you do a factory reset , and dalvik wipe.
If you need further help just look in the vn-rom thread for flashing procedure. anyway

in the begining format my phone and enter to download mode and install official rom consist of four files {MODEM+CSC+BOOTLOADER+PDA}
after turn on my phone doing root CWM and install:_
1-for ur phone use terminal emulator,busy box,super su
2-for ur pc use EFS Professional ....turn on EFS Professional and choice EFS Professional and ok then let him connect with ur phone and automatic download efs ..just wait few second ur phone will be ok and same imei in the phone back

will try an let you know hope this works never tried efs professional. well did you have a backup with efs professional or it just worked by itself downloading some files from the internet

I need a simple help i want make my Note 3 like new when you buy it in shop so i now have custom rom and root and twrp but i want flash stock firmware and remove root and twrp can anyone explain how do that very easy and does it possible this make without PC?I must make all stock because i want sell my phone

In recovery mounts and storage format sd card system data cache preload .
Boot to download mode flash the correct stock rom for your phone through Odin .Borrow a PC .
Be aware that the link posted is not for the standard Note N9005 .
2 days ago i flashed twrp on my pure stock note 4, i did backup my rom including EFS using twrp and then flash kyubi rom with nameless kernel, it all went well. just now i wipe data ,system, cache on twrp and restore my backup stock rom and it went well too...and then i try to flash stock rom using odin so i can get back the stock recovery mode for OTA update when MM releases.. the flashing was a sucess and phone booted but my data inside werent wipe.
so i went to recovery mode and saw this dm-verity verification failed on the bottom i proceed to wipe data and reboot my phone, its all working now no problems except i cant reset my phone with the setting inside it will just bring me to recovey mode and stay there with that message.
now i did some research, some saying will bootloop and stuffs but mine is all ok no problem except i cant reset it inside the settings..
anyone can help me get rid of that message/problem?
If you format everything in advance format in twrp and then flash stock firmware this message will go away.
got the same problem. Then I went to a local store. They helped me. Here are steps
1. Pull out your battery, check your serial number (S/N:....)
2. Download smart switch, enter emergency software recovery..... Enter your serial number
3. Turn off your phone. Enter download mode or sth ( I don't remember it clearly. just power + vol down or up. just try it)
4. Smart switch will recognize your phone. Choose a firmware to download. then wait
5. Enjoy stock firmware
Use kies3 reinstall drivers, then use emergency recovery in kies to reinstall your current firmware or opt to update to latest or most recent release or version then follow kies instructions

Hello everyone
I have found a way to fix dm-verity and DRK issues and it works like official, meaning no errors in stock recovery and OTA works with Official firmware, the problem is related to corrupted/deleted 3 files on /efs partition. I have tested it on SM-N910C so I guess it works on other Exynos variants, perhaps even on snapdragon if the partition layout is similar? Kies won't restore DRK or dm-verity check because it doesn't write to EFS. I can fix yours if someone is interested via Team Viewer, you will need the following:
1. PM contact me for Skype ID
2. Stock rom, rooted (any root method)
3. Adb debugging enabled and drivers installed (Kies or SmartSwitch)
After repair you can enter your stock recovery and confirm there is no DRK/dm-verity red letters error.

Mine still says fail. but it also says "need to check drk first" could anyone possibly help me im stuck.the phone loads up and everything. but when i try to root or anything or flash any other firmware than n910pvpu5dqi5 it fails about 4 seconds in to flashing on odin. ive downloaded every possible firmware specific to the SM-N910P but only one worked.
im a big noob with the note 4 this is my first luckily its not my daily phone yet. im very familiar with the note 3 n900t but im finding they are very different. any advice would be appreciated!

If you just unlocked your bootloader and thats it, your rom should still be the stock one.
Hello, so I have a Y625-U21 which had a bootloop issue, I couldn't boot it to recovery in order to wipe data, so I downloaded a random firmware, flashed it via Lenovo flasher, and now it's completly offline, but somehow it still has connection with the pc, i tried several others firmwares but they didn't work, I read an artical about OTA ( FullOTA-MF: Full OTA MF firmware is Full package of firmware and it can unbrick your phone model with any buid number.), is this possible? if so how can I do it, or at least how can install a costum rom on it in this state? or boot it in recovery? any help that this phone may has is much appreciated.
Ps: I can provide its imei or its S/N if that would help.
