Which rom?
1. Turn off your phone
2. Turn on with hold volume up + down + power button at the same time

Hi, I have a nexus 4 with purity rom. My screen broke and I have to send it to the warranty provider.
I am following this guide http://www.androidrootz.com/2012/12/how-to-unroot-nexus-4-to-stock-42-jelly.html to unroot the phone, but I have a problem.
I'm stuck at point 11
"You will now see a "dead Android". Keep pressing the volume up, volume down, and power button all at the same time until you see stock "Recovery", shown in the image below."

When I boot in recovery mode, I see a dead android with an esclamation mark over it:

Hence I cannot enter the recovery...
What's the problem?

I solved it..power button + vol up, without vol down
I tried to root my phone using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/how-to/how-to-root-s7-edge-t3410470 but I think I failed that.
Now my phone looks like this and I can't get out of this no matter what I press.
Even if I try to hold down VOL-DOWN + POWER + HOME it gets me back to here.

anyone with a solution ?
flash twrp
You go into the Android settings and do the reset from there or flash TWRP and do it using that.
Ok I was trying to root my phone using twrp and lineage 15.1. I am using the latest 10/04 build from TDMs post. The magisk installation kept on failing and giving me error one. So i wiped the cache and davilk partition. Then I hit reboot. The phone just wont turn on. But it does give me this response. Whenever I press and hold the power button to start it, it give these very short vibrations. The sound like a beeping sound in the hand they feel like heart beats. It gives these even when it is charging or not. What is going on.

You have TWRP installed?
Hello, I rooted my device. Then I wanted to unlock the bootloader again. Unfortunately my tablet won't turn on anymore. How can I recover my device?

}
First charge it to make sure it has power.
Then with the device off, press vol up and vol down and insert usb cable while holding the buttons and see if you can get into download mode.
