This phone dosen't have a SOT Counter,Developers please add that soon officially!
I used chrome, tik tok, and telegram continuously for 6 hrs 25 minutes and 14% battery left with 4g on and wifi off. Watched The Mentalist for 10 hours with 40% battery left. Had bad battery backup and heating issues after first setup. But after unlocking bootloader, battery is good and no heating issues at all.

Realme mentions that unlocking the bootloader will erase all the data on the smartphone, so we would recommend that you take a complete backup before you proceed. Unlocking the bootloader will also downgrade the Widevine certification level from L1 to L3 which means that if you unlock the bootloader, you won't be able to enjoy HD content on some video streaming apps. Realme also mentions that unlocking the bootloader could break the OTA software functionality, so users won't be able to update their Realme X devices to the latest version of ColorOS.

Amazing
Hello ^^ Very Nice Post ^^ I like it ^^
After upgrading to the newly released realme ui my screen on time had drastically reduced. Now one solution I found to this was turning off the "Intelligent power saver". I know it sounds counter intuitive but it really boosted my screen on time and I suggest you give it a try

Can any of the device owners share their experience so far with it?
I'm on xiaomi.eu MIUI 10 open beta so battery life can be better when it's stable. Buts it's pretty decent right now I'm happy with it.
15 percent per hour if display is on. If display off than 0.5 percent.
On my usage I get two days.
Battery life is a good surprise, I'm using xiaomi eu
My MI 8 can reach upto 7h30 on-screen time, how about you #5 and #n?
The battery is what I was looking for in a smartphone. Constantly using it (web browsing, facebooking, gaming, youtubing, etc.) for a day, it could last around 8hrs or more, playing games heavily it could drop to 6hrs. I have been using the phone for around 2hrs per day, and it could last up to 3 days. Ah, I have Always-On enabled. My rom is still China, waiting for bypass time to unlock it.
How do you get that SOT? I'm on xiaomi.eu 8.8.30 and max I get is 5 hours

So you are on miui 10 beta, i am still on miui 9.6.7, i hope it is not the issue. I put most of my apps to "not running in background", some are set with no restriction. But the system still kills all apps once in a while, i am new to xiaomi phone so I still dont know if this can be disabled or not. I have not installed all of my daily drive apps because I want to unlock the bootloader and flash global rom first, i also hope this is not the issue
My normal standby drain is about 12hrs for 10%. Oh, I do go battery settings to solve any detected issues when I am on break. I also hide the notch.
Battery life is solid, running china dev and i get 2 days with total ot 5+ hours SOT. For a non stop use indoor i can go 8+ hours
xiaomi.eu ROM (up to 8.8.30) drains battery fast, 15-20% per hour with screen on, = maximum of 4.5-5h SOT. With global stable or global beta ROM getting around 8-8.5h SOT, 10-15% during usage.
Yesterday i bought the phone, fully charged and at 25% i got 7h+ screen on time.. which is completely amazing!! Global stable 9.6 here..
You can easily get over 7 hours of SOT, and more than 30 hours on one charge.

miui 10 stable global
Hi people I wanna alert everybody: DO NOT UPGRADE TO MIUI 10. It drains so much battery than miui 9.6 stable. I've wiped full data, it drains less than before ,but more than 9.6. global stable. I post screeshots

China developer 8.8.31 . Sync off.
I'm using the Google Pixel Rom.
Having 44Hours since last charge of which 4:40 are SOT with 19% battery left.
With xiaomi.eu oreo i've at least 5h SOT and i can arrive at night with no problem
Wifi - 8h
LTE - 4-6h depends on usage
I've got easy 8 hours on WiFi (YouTube, Facebook and so on)

I use my phone for email(work and gmail) , whatsapp , Youtube and reddit with the odd web search here and there. With a mix of lte and wifi and adaptive brightness off (I adjust brightness from 50% to 100% manualy) I get around 5 to 6 hours Screen on time with the most ive ever gotten being 6hours and 30 minutes. Will try naptime with adb commands and see if I can get better results.
the battery is poor, with my z2 and z3 i got most than 12h without a charge, this poop i got 5 or 6 hours ?? i think is because lcd screen. i regret to downgrade from my z3
Battery is poor due bloatware , I disable all and my phone last up to 2 days with a moderate use . Also , GPS , Wireless , Data and Bluetooth are used only on purpose , all those are OFF . So in my opinion battery is great or at least is trendy...
With naptime the most I got was 7 hours SOT. The phone still lasts a full day before needing a charge and I charge my phone when it reaches 20%.
Generally if I use 4g a lot I get around 5 to 6 hours SOT.

Well I got around 7hrs sot with a bit of moderate usage including YouTube, insta,Reddit and downloading few files, all and all I think that's pretty good. And I still had around 30% left at the end of the day.
I di YouTube streaming, telegram, watch videos and some light games. Easily get 8-9 hours of SoT and charging from 10 to 100 only takes 70-80 minutes. Just over an hour. I plug in the charger and keep using the phone and still it charges stupid fast without heating. Both phone and charger stay cool and stay at 40C max. So happy with the purchase.
Awesome. I was constantly tweaking my phone and apps from 8 am till now today. That means 10 hours SOT with continuous use and I've still 31% left.
still testing my new realme 5 pro...but on my initial observation, it drains battery even if the phone is on standby mode only w/out any apps running on the background...i disabled Power Saver Mode but the Smart Power Saver is still enabled...i also put it in Dark Mode (system wide and all the apps)...disabled all vibrations and everything (GPS, bluetooth, auto-sync)..since i'm only testing this, i put this on Airplane mode (w/out sims) and disabled WiFi...but it still drains battery (around 1% every 20-30mins)..
i don't want to modify it because it is still under warranty...but if you have any ideas/solutions about this, it'll very much appreciate...thanks

Whew. I wish I knew. I'm really against color os so I don't use it much. I've no idea what version back then but let me tell you that firmware version matters a lot too. On RUI C12 it's quite nice and similar. Though I'm on custom rom and kenrel so I cannot tell for sure.

I got the Xiaomi Redmi K30 (4G - 6GB+128GB) directly from China through a friend. My very first Xiaomi and boy what an amazing battery this phone has! Coming from Samsung I've been literally blown away. I thought such battery life was always limited to XDA threads and hence this was truly a dream come true lol. And for $250, this has been the cheapest phone I've ever bought. So much value this has to offer.
This is my first charge cycle of the phone.
I am yet to fully move all my apps to the Redmi K30 yet. Only Gmail, other Google apps including Chrome were mainly used with some very light gaming (I'm no gamer). And I uninstalled many of the apps that came with the phone.
Its running MIUI 11.0.3 on Chinese stock ROM. 4G LTE on all day (not connected to WiFi at all). Screen refresh rate set at 120Hz.
Usage was mainly fiddling around with the phone setting it up and installing Google apps, 2 hours of voice calls, 30 mins of videos on YouTube, 15 mins of games. I am yet to drain my battery fully. So halfway through at 50% mark, I have used the phone for over 24 hrs with 4+ SOT.
Stand by drain has been amazing as I've already slept through two nights where battery drained only 1% (!!!) over 6-7 hrs. For me, this battery life is purely insane!
I will post again once I manage to deplete the battery fully.
-- EDIT -- FULL UPDATE
The battery was finally about to die after 2 days! (48 hrs!!!) With 7 hrs of SOT ?
In addition to the above, I further used the camera to take a few pictures, Maps/GPS and more fiddling around.
4G LTE (mobile data not WiFi) was on and connected throughout using a single SIM. Battery Saver mode was not activated as I wanted to see how far it could stretch. Screen refresh rate set at 120Hz.
Drains fast when 120hz but with 60hz amazing battery life, i must say. Even got 9 hours SOT in 60hz with small games and YouTube on speakers.
11 (ELEVEN) hrs of SOT!!!
3rd Charge Cycle -
Screen refresh rate set at 60Hz
4G LTE on all day (not connected to WiFi at all)
2 hrs of YouTube video/music playback
1 hr of voice calls
Connected to Bluetooth earbuds for media
Lot of messaging on WhatsApp
Random browsing
Installing apps
Battery Saver mode was NOT activated
Face Unlock with Raise to Wake enabled
Verdict on SOT range - 7 hrs (120Hz) to 11 hrs (60Hz)
Redmi K30 (stock CN ROM with MIUI 11.0.3)

How to check SOT btw
Sent from my POCO X2 using Tapatalk
OK got it, It's about 7 and half hours.. Not bad I guess.. Use 120 hz.. Though use battery saver and location off.. Data is on most of the time
Sent from my POCO X2 using Tapatalk
10-11 hrs on avg(120hz) or even more
0% battery drain
I dont play any games just normal apps like social apps, spotify, reddit, chrome, etc
I am using pixel experience plus rom(with location and auto sync off)
Coming from Galaxy Note 8, the battery life is really impressive. Im on china rom with google play install. 60hz and on wifi all the time. No games. Just watch some videos and surfing the web. And social media such as whatsapp, instagram and telegram is also used. Planning to switch to xiaomu.eu rom after my bootloader has been unlock which I need to wait for 168 hours.
Edit: since I could not upload the image I will just say it. 23 since last charge with over 7 hours sot with 50% battery left.

in my Poco X2, before i got maximum 4 hours SOT with 120hz, then i uninstalled mi pay, security, credit, music, video, browser, mi drop, mi mover, getapps and signed out from miui...cant believe ...my bluetooth, net, hotspot is always on for my office work...but after that i got 11 hours SOT....i recharged my phone now 2 days back...now i know mi bloatware is the main culprit for battery draining and security

I also did remove all those bloatware except security... I have heard that removing security causes some problem, please comment. Also right now i am getting almost 7 hours of screen of time with video streaming, social media and gaming most of the time
6 month old phone, I'm getting only 4hrs SOT on 120hz and 5hrs on 60hz. I don't game, no heavy use, I've almost tried all custom roms and supee debloating my mi rom, still no profit. Idk how to get better battery life at this point, I used to get 12hrs sot in my op5t
120hz
WiFi(when i was home)
LTE(outside)
Miui 12.0.2.0
30%-50% brightness
i removed almost all bloatware in adb. no power saving turned on, no games, just browsing ,YouTube and Termux
got around 12:30 hrs SOT with 5% left

Hy guys! I have never had such an amazing phone with a such a great battery! My last phone was a Mi Max 3 and was very hard for me to let it go because of the humongous battery of 5500mAh. I am using this Redmi Note 9S for two days and still have juice in it. Remember that it was charged just once and all the installation, backup, and the new start was made during this cycle. 80% i was only in Wifi but in my area the gsm signal is not that great and i choose the 2G network. The drain over night is maximum 1% with 2G and wifi off. Good luck guys!
Bought it for my wife, and she is using over 10hrs SOT with moderate usage (calling, FB, WhatsApp, YouTube). Charging alternate day after reaching down to ~10%. Battery life (and fast charging) is the most likeable feature of this phone.
Use it all day in quarantine, easily lasts me through the day with heavy usage
Not too amazing, Oneplus 5T I had before this had the same SOT, same usage. I blame MIUI, can't wait to get ROMs, ports, etc. I'm here for a long time.
In the 336hr period to unlock bootloader, will try Xaiomi Eu and report it's SOT as well.
This is the best SoT I have gotten till now. Phone is running MIUI 11.0.4 debloated. It is by far the best battery life one can dream of.

My SOT on Xiaomi Eu Rom, fastboot installed, magisk rooted, encrypted, pitch black recovery.
Pretty much the same story, all that debloat still didn't help, it introduced more bugs and stutters actually. Camera says 60fps, but has stutters in the video and UI. Overall, wouldn't recommend. Better off just hiding the bloat and using the phone like I did prior to Xiaomi eu ROM.
WHich apps and feature were you debloated. Tell me...
