Hi,
I wanted to give my international n910f to my granmda in turkey, the problem is that currently the turkey takes huge fees to use german phones in their country permanently, I heard there is a Method whith which I can change the Imei of the phone to an existing old phone from turkey, I Know I have to edit the qcn file and for that I need qpst, but Qpst does not find my phone.
Is there any alternative method for that maybe someone here can help me I would be really glad.
Can no one help me with this?
I also need to edit / restore my IMEI number in SM-N910c variant
After flashing a Custom ROM the singnals are gone I can't make calls
I've read and followed many things but no luck still
There are few computer software like Octaplus Box and Samsung Pro Tools etc...
Can someone guide me how to edit IMEI number using these programs?

Hi, I live in China but am not Chinese and have inherited a 14mth old Note3 SM-N9008 from my wife, who is Chinese. Just wanted to clarify this point as a lot of other posters with an SM-N9008 have been shot down for having one instead of getting a model relative to where they live
OK, with that out of the way, I have no issues with voiding the warranty as it's gone anyway (14 mth old).
My key question is after reading the "how-to-change-csc-in-samsung-galaxy-phones" (sorry cannot include the offsite link being new here) topic, and perhaps my understanding is wrong and so please correct me if I am, if I change the PDA, PHONE and CSC codes to match correctly to another locale NOT China (eg UK), then I am a) basically changing my 9008 to a 9005 in principle & b) my 9008 will accept ROM's for a 9005 and work fine.
Or is this 'trick' of manipulating these codes to give a new locale only for the purpose of if you have a 9005 in Chile which has not uploaded a new Stock ROM but say Spain has, I make my 9005 look like it is now from Spain and will therefore be able to get the new 9005 Stock ROM?
I have only ever rooted and applied another Stock ROM to one other mobile device before, about 2 years or more ago, which was a Chinese model of the Note 10.1 and it's worked perfectly fine in all that time on the Intl Stock ROM - except for updates online which I don't do (I do manual app updates where required) because the updates give me the Chinese version due to the CSC etc not being changed and so thinking I am Chinese.
Has anyone tried this before at all? Changing the PDA, PHONE and CSC codes from one model to anothers so as to have access to other Stock ROM's in your preferred language and without the locale's bloatware, as well as being able to have appz like Intl google play etc (which cannot be included in any 9008 Stock ROM)?
I've looked at detailed specs for both the 9008 and the 9005 models and they seem exactly the same, just the PDA, PHONE and CSC codes make each different.
If anyone has, please can they help tell me the process steps I need to follow (such as do I root 1st and then change the codes, or change the codes 1st and then root?
I do hope someone can give me some positive feedback please. Thanks in anticipation for any help you can offer me.

Hope this will help you. Note if you search it in youtube there is a vid will teach you how to do this if you are new about it.

Greetings,
In most countries, it is unlawful to change IMEI. In XDA land, it is forbidden to discuss this process.

CSC G900FOXA1BOC7
Pl. can you anyone point to right path?
Sorry fella, discussion of how to modify IMEI numbers is against XDA rules as it is illegal to tamper with it in many countries. I understand your reason for posting and that you are simply trying to get your device back in working order, but any methods or information posted here in answer to your question could be seen and used by somebody 'less honest' so unfortunately for you, you're not going to get your answer on this site.
The only bit of info we can give would be to take your device to a repair centre where they have the equipment needed to re-write your IMEI.
Hi, friends! I tried some custom ROMs.
Well, but one issue occured: one of them changed my IMEI to a stranger number '004999010640000'!
1) I did restore, but I see that backup files do not contains the EFS files (that contains the IMEI code).
2) I tried go back to stock* ROM, but the IMEI did not recovered.

Anybody may help me?
Thank you in advance.
ive only ever seem IMEI repair done with paid services. I know that idoneapps.com can probably fix it at a cost. I believe $35 USD. they have a forum there too that they could make the determination of whether they can fix it for you or not. Worth a shot at least. They do great work! @idone @Nodial
Hello
I dont know if this is the correct place to post(please correct me if so )
I have a SHV-E300L with its imei and baseband null (got it for cheap just to look into this case)
previous owner told me it happened without him doing anything but by the phone itself
Phone is not rooted. So no efs backups.
I have read that you can Force write the imei code if you know it?
What about the baseband?
What if i convert it to international version ? (i9500/i9505)
Or
Is it posiible to swap a motherboard of a i9500(idk the model no but i need 4g)
and the usb also?
it will cure the imei and baseband right? (since the motherboard carries its own?)
Please help me
Im just a newbie to the s4 I have a S2 and ive rooted flashed reflashed and stuff
Thanks All
Boot into download and verify the model number. Then go to sammobile.com and flash the latest stock ROM using Odin.
You can not convert a phone from one model to another model.
