I read several times here that the EU ROM is better than the Global ROM in terms of Software. It also supposedly has a faster fingerprint unlock. Can anyone confirm that this is true? I still have til Friday until my Bootloader unlock but then I want to root my MI 9T and flash the EU ROM.
EU ROM includes some extra features and remove some bloatware.
Fingerprint is slow in all ROMs. Some users say that thanks to updates it's faster now, but I don't think so.

I have exactly same situation but You can remove bloatware and disable apps without root and battery life after that on Global ROM is very nice. I think I will stick to Global ROM for now.

Yeah after using the Global ROM for almost a week now and being without Root I actually now decided to leave everything as is. The only thing I miss is adblocking via Root. I just hope that Xiaomi fixes the major bug that Android Auto doesn't work for anyone who uses a K20/Mi9T.
Also did you try Google Pay? I have for the very first time but it didn't work.

If you're using it on Boost network the fix is easy. Just go back to stock and update the PRL and profile. but if you're trying to use it on a different network you're out of luck. They locked all that stuff out.
Ok stock rom is working 100% but when I go to twrp wipe then flash any custom rom the radio is off and no data that's the issue I've tryed the config boost fix did not work so I used backup and am now on stock because lte is working on it.

Best stay there until versed in the scope of the radio issue and whether you can adequately address it using known fixes. Rooted stock is not a bad choice when combined with Magisk, Xposed and a few essential modules. Everything functionally works which is probably why you purchased the device in the first place.

Recent OTA updates have made this more challenging than it once was. I'd stay away unless you have the skills/stomach for a rough ride.

All incoming calls are Unknown number (no caller number visible) when VoLTE is activated. No issues with outgoing calls (that does make sense). When VoLTE is deactivated, everything works okay. Turning the feature on/off, also with enable/disable carrier check, does not solve anything. Multiple reboots done. Everything worked okay on my Mi Mix 2S with the same SIM-card yesterday, so I'm guessing it's a software issue.
MIUI Global 10.3.7 (PFJEUXM)
Anyone with the same issue? Is it working okay for anyone?
This used to happen to me on the note 5 AI.. And it got fixed after an update.
Hi, where did you find the VoLTE setting?
You probably have to disable carrier check first (*#*#86583#*#* and dial). Then you will have VoLTE option in call settings. Today was a new OTA but the issue is still present for me.
same here... Mi 9t activated volte and now unknown caller.
I wanted to try VOLTE since my calls are so bad I cant understand what callers are saying.
I have the same problem
K20 Pro
MIUI China 10.3.17
I have a MI 9T Global running version 10.3.11.0 PFJMIXM (and if I'm not mistaken the OP's version 10.3.7 (PFJEUXM) is not global but China based EU..)
My provider is T-Mobile Germany and caller-ID with VoLTE is working just fine.
Can it be that it's a problem with china based ROMs (like the EU version)?
Cheers Helmuth
Well, I managed to get in contact with distributer for Mi phones for our country, got their unit (mine was bought from Amazon ES) and reproduced the problem - I didn't pay attention to ROM version on their unit. They've logged it and said that they've forwarded the issue to the devs. Hopefully it'll get resolved sometime in the near future - for now the issue is the same on 10.3.12.0 (PFJEUXM).
I have same issue on global as eu. My provider checked everything and there was no misconfiguration on their side. so, reading these posts I think its phone related. CallerId outgoing is ok, incoming no name.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the top part of the guide with three different methods to access DIAG Mode. For me the IMEI is also fine.
If you are using the miui rom you may also try this; https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80159761&postcount=83 (specifically the two steps Additionnal fixing can be made using the app "Activity Manager" listed at the beginning), for this you need Activity Manager (also mentioned by Ratje_nl); https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-activity-manager-hidden-activity-t3797985. This does not work on AOSP roms I think, I couldn't find the apks at least. I know this is all kind of messy, since there's little information we have to use a lot of different guides.
I am using Pixel Experience by the way.

Bro thank you very much for your compilations and Roms for the Redmi 3 Ido. Based on your experience and previous suggestions (Mokee Rom) I would like to see if you could recommend a stable ROMs based on MIUI, whether Android Oreo, Android Pie or Android Q ... I would like the MIUI experience but I do not like the idea of having to downgrade the Android version.
Or inclusive if you can give me your Top of stable custom or final version ROMS for the Redmi 3 Ido (If you included a MIUI based ROM it would be perfect).

Yes it does, pretty much is a global rom, has less ads than global and complies with GDPR.
Exactly, complies tot EU privacy law.
I unlocked and rooted it yesterday and debloated it further with Titanium backup.
Runs fine although Playstore failed to certify it for Play Protect so gives a fail for CtsProfile of safetynet.
Causes no problems so far.

Wipe play store data?
I'm on xiaomi.eu and I'm failing ctsprofile also but play store is certified.
Google apparently checking boot loader status.

Today I tried to flash the 3.4.2B version of the current TWRP.
Tried it 10 times but it flashes but won't boot to it.
Flashing the 3.4.1B version is immediately succesfull so something is wrong with te 2B version.
So beware to use it.
Can this work with the k30 pro zoom without issues? Does the camera still work?

Better ask this in a K30 Pro Zoom thread because this thread is solely about the Poco F2 Pro Global EEA version.

Is NOT the same device and other users with a F2 Pro reported version b2 doesn't work, b1 still does.
I got this phone this week, but i'm still on miui 11.
When i run to check update it says there is any update available.
The miui 12 is rolling out for this model already?

hmmm, interesting. I brought mine as a POCO F2 Pro but the 128gb/6gb and b2 worked fine on my device. Flashed 12.0.0.2/magisk without issues.
I just got miui 12 on EU, we're going checking we are assessing

Hi.
I don't know why, but information about unofficial release of LOS never have been posted here. If there's some legal issues, just delete my post. I have 18.1 running perfectly on my nitrogen. Maybe this is good moment to revive some of our old big nitrogens
Enjoy. It's really great.

I can't detect any bug. Everything is just great. I highly recommend los. It's way more smooth and battery friendly than miui 12.

I've just installed it myself - the latest JoysKo version from 4pda.ru. Have not tested it thoroughly, though. Will report more soon. But...
GCam works. After having tried some two dozen versions (which either stopped immediately or did not install at all), I used MGC_6.2.030_FinalRelease_Bulkin043_V9Q, which is known to work on AOSP-9 based custom roms. I am not entirely sure it's perfect, but the basics work. (One may have to change the saving location, though.)
The only issue so far once fully booted - but I barely tested it - is that I seem to have deep sleep problems with third-party launchers (Nova, Lawnchair 2 etc.); Trebuchet works. It does not seem to be caused by widgets - but I need to explore more.
Another problem is common from AOSP9-based 3rd party roms: sometimes, on rebooting, the phone gets stuck (the "Unlocked" logo phase). A simple restart resolved it.
I have not sorted out passing SafetyNet yet (Magisk props fingerprints are apparently not enough).
Happy to report the terrible scrolling issues plaguing AOSP9-based roms here on XDA are completely absent.
Finally, battery life, even without deep sleep, is very good.
How did you recognized deep sleep issue? I am currently running Lawnchair 2 having 94% deep sleep while screen off.
Maybe it's gapps issue/play services? I am using open gapps test version for 11.

Same gapps here. I use Accu Battery and it reports it. I have the same problem if very unreliable sleep on two other phones using los18.
This thread deserves more views. I happened to try the android 11 based Havoc rom from April 2021 and it runs smooth. Everything works perfectly, and I've been using it as a daily driver for the last week.
Thank you JoysKo!
If anyone can point me how to replace the stock cam with gcam- it would be much appreciated!

Do you have any evolution of this Rom that I am not aware of?

I tried the more recent versions of LOS uploaded by JoysKo and reverted to 0124. For me, it's the best. With the 2 others I had janky scrolling, malfunctioning gestures.

With the LOS 20210124, I just installed one of the few working gcams. Specifically 6.2.030 Final Bulkin043 V9Q.

Yeah I tried that one you mentioned however I get app not installed error message.
Is there another version that might work?

I tired several that did not. Works for me on Lineage-18.1-FORK-vanilla-20210124-nitrogen-JoysKo, though. (I installed both newer versions of the ROM and as far as I remember it worked on them too - but I replaced them later.)
Thank you so much for this thread. Installing Lineage is like a walk in the park like this. The only problem I come across is when I want to play back videos in some apps or Chrome. I get errors like video can not be played and SOURCE_STREAM_TYPE_NOT_SUPPORTED. I think this might be a firmware issue or is there another solution available?
Hello together
With last Lineage OS 18.1 fork-vanilla I've problems with loosing fingerprints after a while and GBoard-function with full NikiGapps is buggy.
Now I'm back to preversion and fingerprint problems are solved. Only changing to GBoard was not so good idea

I installed arrow and Los but all meet same problem. The message can not be received. Try to install global FW+ vendor at first but Stuck on the boot screen . Any good suggestion?
Hi, I was also very pleased to see Lineage on the Mi Max 3, still using this device due to the large screen I love.
Has anyone exerperienced bluetooth connection issues?
It connects to my speaker and then immediately disconnects and of course then wont play any music?
ROM version I used is lineage-18.1-20210608-nitrogen-experimental-PRGroup.zip
Any known fix as yet?
Previous versions do not have bluetooth issues like this?
Thanks.

P.S.: For DT2W use this module…

Thanks. Got it from Telegram a few days ago. I can confirm it works great. Better than the January version, which was the best before in my view. Do try to install from Orange Fox, however, not TWRP.
