I have just installed a CML-PLAY 8702 and the screen is displaying in reverse, first time I hook up the radio to the car is was displaying the screen normally and after I hooked up the speaker wiring the screen is now displaying in reverse.
I did remove the speaker wires just in case and it is still showing the screen in reverse
I can enter the factory setting but that is all in chinese.

I have managed to get the Developer Options and set Force RTL Layout Direction and switch this off and all it does is move the backwards text to the left.
Is there a build.prop file for this device I looked in internal systems and couldn't find one.

Engineering Mode - Changing settings for telephone and connections
Engineering setup - Series of switches to switch DVD/DVR on/off ect
In the end the company gave me a 30% refund and I bought another from a different supplier.
Everything worked on installation.

i had a problem like this, probably not related but ill explain anyway now that ive mentioned it
*linking a .lnk directly to the "advanced" tab caused me to have issues like the one your having = unable to make/edit a connection.
*for some reason it needs to load the connection in "tasks" before showing it in "advanced" so linking me .lnk to the "tasks" tab fixed my issue.
however, i suggest you run the htc connection setup, or ConnectionSetupAuto.exe.
this will add a new connection and youl be able to see/edit the connection settings

Hardly, I suppose. The menu interface should be visible without any connection setup. Example - stock rom for any non-htc device.
My old Asus has no first boot setup or whatever like my Leo but Connection menu interface is available for manual setup.
It looks like either OP has problems with mui, or some "interface tweaks" had ruined the menu....
Suggestions:
1. Check mui
2. Do not cook in your custom tsk and all graphic custom **** and try to make close to stock rom.
Greetings. Well my connection was added but i wasnt see it
I find the solution, the problem was in the .rgu in ExtendedPkg from oem directory was changed by mistake. im using osbuilder. im just dump again my stock rom and change it, Now work fine.
Thanks all
Hi all,
I bit the bullet and picked up a 2nd hand OrangeUK Flipout (details available if I need to prove I bought it legally)... but the seller cannot remember the pattern to draw to access the phone.
How might I resolve this issue, please?
I can access the Bootloader, which is on v91.10, but that's all I've found so far.
I have found RSD Lite v5.6 and the USB Drivers from the MotoDev website.
Will flashing RUTEM_U3_01.19.2 (or any other RUTEM) onto the device ie following the Debranding Guide, reset this and allow me to start playing with Android?
What about the FlipOut Recovery?
Thank-you,
Dylan.
Wow. Err, okay, I wasn't expecting it to be that easy.
It only took a simple Hard Reset and it's fine - Back to the start as if seting up a brand new out-the-box phone!
In case any other fellow Noobie-Noobs encounters this issue, here's what I did:
Motorola Flipout (MB511) - Step by step hard reset
1/. Switch the device off - Hold the power button for a couple of seconds and then press Power Off
2/. With the device off, open it up, hold the X key and hold down the Power button until you see the Motorola M.
3/. Shortly after, an image like this will appear:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
4/. TAP the power button to enter the Android System Recovery menu.
5/. Use the little D-Pad to select the 4th option - Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
6/. Press Enter to confirm.
7/. Confirm you want to reset the device.
8/. After the reset, go back into the System Recovery menu and select the 1st option - Reboot.
You should now have one factory-fresh phone!
Gratefully translated from Portuguese instructions at the EIL forum!
I did a factory reset and wiped the cache, several times in a row last night, because I got sick of a few things and wanted to run a test.
I wanted to install IceBox Apps Freezer. You don't need root, so long as you set it to be 'Device Owner' using ADB shell:
Code:
adb shell dpm set-device-owner com.catchingnow.icebox/.receiver.DPMReceiver
The app says to remove all accounts associated with the device in order for that to work. On our tablets (all models) this isn't possible. So I had to find out a way that would clear all 'device owners.' Google itself is very specific about how this is to be done: Factory reset.
Caution: If provisioning has already started, affected devices must be factory reset first.

Since I did that, and didn't register the tablet with Amazon, Managed Provisioning shouldn't apply. However, I followed all the steps, made sure WiFi was and still is off and went into ADB and this is what I got in return:

Um what? Is that even legal?
have you seen anyone having success with Amazon devices?
it's possible they didn't include this feature

As far as I can tell, through all possible methods to gain Device Owner, Amazon has provisioned the devices, en mass, before they are even purchased. Likely done with NFC which is included on the Fires, but is another piece of software Amazon blocks us from accessing and or using. Even a factory reset and attempt to add device owner on language selection screen failed.
IMHO this really should be illegal. What the hell did we actually buy then if we don't own these?

There is a setting for the orientation in the PIN protected menu. Search for it.
When I received my F9212B (for a Holden Cruze) it was separate from the mounting frame. I noted it was possible to mount the unit upside-down in the frame. Maybe take it out and check to see that your mic hole etc are at the top-left and not the bottom-right?

Not installed correctly, the problem appeared after the update
Just change orientation in engineering menu as suggested earlier.
Try to do reset to factory default. It will keep the os, but will return to orig config. It happen to me
In my case, the bug is in screen mode forced setting. If I change it, it will make the screen upside down.
Disclaimer: Above worked for my unit, not sure though if other cases are same as mine. Still do some research

Hi guys,
I recently purchased the Allwinner QUAD-CORE T3 k2001-nwd head unit and desperately need help with two things:
1) Tried all options but cannot find out the Factory Setting Password.
2) So many options are not available, I can’t change the default launcher, can’t change the boot logo, can’t change the ringtones - how can I fix this?
Please help me out guys. Grateful to all. Cheers.

Thanks for the swift response, I will try these in a couple of hours. What about the features, will I be able to change anything at all? How are the reviews of the unit that I have - I am a little concerned as it says Tablet and not Car Unit.
