When i buy phone in chinnese page i see band 2 and band 4 support for global version or redmi note 7.
But i cant make those band work in my country.
How to probe something is wrong with my phone other than just put a screenshot of the homepage?
Also rooting will void my guarantee right?

I'm planning to buy T-mobile note 3(N900T). I just want to know if I can install different note 3 roms(ex: N900, N900) or it will brick my note 3? Can somebody explain to me? I don't see a lot of roms on T-mobile note 3 forum. Thank!

I think you can do n5009 but you may have signal problem i put a T-mobile rom on my phone but would not get signal there is probably a way round it
Hello i have bricked my new xioami redmi note WCDMA version dual sim.
I installed chainfire 3D and now by phone wont boot. I cant access recovery as its not letting me select it.
I use to be able to.

Go to en.miui.com and check thread to restore with splash tool. . That worked for me.
Hye, I just bought a new Xiaomi redmi note 4G from a telco in my country as it was recommended by a friend of mine. The problem is that the phone seems to be very laggy after a week of usage. I ask my friend and we did a comparison on the apps called "CPU-z" and my phone's model shown is HM NOTE 1LTE while his was HM NOTE 1LTEW. The build is also different, He said he never experienced any lag. Is my phone another fake xiaomi or what? can you help me?
I don't think you should worry. I bought a Redmi Note 4G last week.
In Settings, Model number says HM NOTE 1LTEW -- i forget build number.
Went to download latest MIUI for the device - my service menus were showing Chinese characters.
I flashed stock MIUI Redmi Note 4G Single SIM Global Version: V6.3.5.0.KHIMIBL （MIUI6）
Now it shows model as HM NOTE 1LTE

Please can someone try to port ditto note 5 to sm-g9287 ? The rom from electron team is installing on my edge+ but no network connection,imei null ,baseband unknown and the phone name changes to sm-g928F .
I guess ditto note 5 rom is for single SIM phones, so if anyone is about do something, the note 5 dual SIM model may be the way for sm-g9287....
As one knows little about coding and porting , I can only imagine using BeyondCompare to compare the files extracted from two stock ROMs between SM-N9200ZDUTGY and SM-G9287, etc...

I'm hear today asking if there's any free way to unlock the Note4 via Service menu like *#197328640# for the Note 2, s3, s4?
I tried *#197328640# and i don't get the menus that it says i should get. is there a note4 modem that will will give me the menus? if so where can i find the modem?
if no modem
is it safe for me to try and install the "ROGERS_MODEM_I317MVLALJ2" note 2 modem on my telus note 4? has anyone tried this?
if not and if I try would flashing Brick my note 4?

flashing a note 2 modem on your note 4 will definitely cause a brick...
