Aosp extended was a best rom and it will more better when flashing a custom kernel...no doubt. But recently i switch to other rom because the aops extend has a problem(bug) with bluetooth connection(cant find my Mi band). The miui rom is not bad to...but i get little bored with the interface

Right now the best combination is AOSIP rom +wolf kernel(oc), gives amazing battery life and also great gaming experience with no lag,

For more improvement you can install a magisk file called 'NFS Injector'

Stock Rom with @Sev3n kernel. Battery life's pretty good! Try it yourself
And don't forget to use Greenify, Amplify and modify the kernel with the Best settings (you can found them on a thread that I started about the most battery friendly kernel for stock ROM).

Resurrection renix 2.1 is best. Or stockmod with seven kernel. No other
motion rom 17
Ita depent of your needs. Simply I prefer clean experience and rich ways to customize my rom, debugging and battery life -> so my choise is cm11 plus cm11 kernel. Cm 12.1 is pretty good, but with renix kernel. Just read all pages from your rom choise and make a decision.

You want extreme performance..?? Then, you better stay with CM11. Been there, done that. Tried most of the ROMs and the conclusion is, for gaming and battery life, CM11 stands way ahead than other ROMs. AnTuTu scores with CM11 are >38k while other custom ROMs have <30k. Stock LP and KK has AnTuTu score ~22K
P.S. I'm a gamer too. Played asphalt, gta, nfs most wanted, nova 3, brothers in arms, wild blood, dead trigger, mc5,........,etc. and finally stuck with MC4 :silly:
Use latest cm 11 by flourmo ... Along with mostock kernel...Tune the kernel.... And enjoy...
Cm 11 is best so far rom.....

Lol if that's true then i shouldn't .. Thanks for the headsup .......although it could've been great if there would be a MM or LP awesome performing ROM .. BTW hats off to DEVELopers who gave us options and atleast they tried their best .. because there's been a lot of development on LA6000/plus which i couldn't even thought of..!

As long as all the apps and features run perfectly, why will one need LP or MM. And yeah, all the credits goes to developers. Every other day, there is some new rom, kernel or something. They have made us able to get the most out of our device.
And, definitely MoStock with CM11 is a made for each other combo.
For MoStock on CM11 flash this.
WiFi bug solution by @opswiz
1) Download attached zip, extract and place file *01wlanon* to /system/etc/init.d/
2) Reboot and done!!
After this you would be able to use wifi without any problem. But you'll have to reboot each time you use wifi tethering (like in shareit and for other stuff). [You should better enable advanced power menu in developer options, then you can choose soft reboot in power menu, to reboot your phone in just 5-8secs]:silly:
But, for chappil's MoStock Kernel, its worth it.
You can try these customizations for CM11.
Here are the AnTuTu scores in CM11, MIUI7 and stock KK---
@MukulGamer, I just found this post. Here he is using CM12.1 64bit by stagass and is getting 39k score amd good 3D score. You should definitely give it a try.

Alucard governer is suggested. But, I prefer interactive which has a balance of performance with good battery. Alucard, I found, lags a lot while gaming. And, I don't know how but performance of interactive is better even than performance Governor itself.
Use these settings
Governor - interactive
Min freq - 200
Max freq - 1209
CPU hotplug - msm hotplug (alucard hotplug is also okay)
I/O scheduler - fiops with 1024kb read ahead for internal and external memory
usb fast charge (use charger with more than 1A output for fast charge, more than 2A might harm your devive)
Misc controls - tcp congestion - westwood
Gpu - msm-adreno-tz
This is my configuration for good battery and performance.
P.S. Dont forget to check apply on boot section on each setting page.

Settings not opening in miui v8 6.6.23

After flashing miui v8 I flashed gods kernel simultaneously. Everything seems to work fine but settings does not opens. After clicking it just closes....it does not even shows up in recents.....plz help
do the clean install
in twrp wipe data, system, dalvik, cache - then reboot again in twrp after this wipe
then do zip install
Probably because of gods kernel,it overclocks the cpu and changes the frequency, usually in settings it says quadcore 1.2 ghz and now it just forcecloses because of the different frequency.
Had a similar problem with the vibe ui 2.9 rom.

If you dont care about the android version,go with cm11 or carbon kitkat.
Anyway, with phantom kernel the battery life is the same on cm12.1 and xosp 6.0.1 .Cm12.1 is bugless right now, when on the xosp there are minimal bugs.MIUI 8 is also really good. You can try Resurrection remix M 5.7.0,too.

I will recommend stock with Franco kernel. Very stable and great battery life.
There is no best custom roms/kernels. It always depends on how you use it. Comparing roms to one another is bad for the community and forum.

If you are not concern with your battery life, you can try DOT OS or HAVOC and also, you can try flashing a custom kernels like Darkonah, PHB or Azure, both have overclocked feature for squeezing more power. but for me, better stick with stock rom for better battery and decent performance. :good::good:

Ok, man. The rom which has best gaming performance, least memory usage in this forum is LineageOS but it doesn't have many customization. Look for a Balanced ROM? Try DotOS.

Havoc is a heavy customized ROM and will not give good performance. I tried it and don't have good game performance.

HAVOC is no good imho (bad gps lock and random phone shutdowns)
i tried a LOT of roms over the last year and i just reverted back to latest stockrom since each and every rom seems to have its drawbacks
what works in one rom doesnt work in the other and vice versa
what i would like is a fully debloated stock rom with a battery saving kernel but i have been able to find a rom that has that
