extra screen tint when in gallery app only after update - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

ever since applying to do an update on my phone on I've noticed that the gallery app has been tinted extra and it's only that app that has the extra tint applied for some reason. Has anyone else encountered this issue if so do you know of a fix?
I do have the screen filter for night mode on 24/7 but again only in the gallery app it's like extra warm for some reason.

Same issue
I experience this one too. Any workaround on this?

what do you think is it software issue or hardware.
edit: turn the brightness down then on stock browser get a white page then try to get keyboard by touching search bar you won't miss it.

I have it too on i9500.. Ive been wondering why no one reported this.
It's software. I have read the I9500/I9505 aren't the only phones it happens on.

happens to mine too, im from tmobile forums. Def a software issue
Not only that but the hue of the screen changes too.
It's very subtle and most people probably won't recognise it but the screen goes from having a magenta cast to a green cast and back again when keyboard is toggled.
I only noticed this when I was watching a black and white you tube clip, I touched the screen to bring up the pause button and as the menu came up the screen changed hue then when I clicked it again and the menu went the screen hue changed back.
Very weird!
agree..
I noticed the same thing after a couple of days. Really annoying and I'm hoping for a quick fix!

smearing issue after mea update

So the smearing issue was supposed to be fixed on the MEA update, yes it did but only for the settings. There's still smearing issues under notifications.
Try this, make sure you have a lot of notifications, enough so you can scroll up and down, now turn brightness to the lowest or set auto brightness. Now scroll up and down and the smearing effect is back.
To be honest I'm kinda disappointed with Samsung this year.

It isn't completely fixed. I encounter it when scrolling through the list of apps. It is very noticeable if you have the flipboard app or any app with red icons.
They didn't really fix it. They just changed the background color from true black to something close to black and doing the same for the pure white color. So, it doesn't apply to anything other than Settings and Contacts.
Samsung needs to get on the ball.
1. AMOLED problems.
2. Barely usable Gallery. (Lag + terrible thumbnail quality)
3. Slow opening native apps.
It's embarrassing when my old One X is smoother and faster than my de-bloated GS4.

I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy S4 the other day. I will be returning if I am able.
The below website/link can be opened on your cells browser and once on that site you can blatantly see the defected hardware screens... They never fixed the issue they simply hid the issue.
I pray that I can return this thing. This is a hardware issue, a defect, it can't be fixed. My old phone was better.
**URL**
I cant post links because I dont have 10 posts so type "lagom response time test" in google. First link. This site blatantly shows the purple smearing still present in every single Samsung S4 sold... They can hide it in the settings but not online or anywhere else.

Over-sharpness

I have tried to Google and search, maybe I am using the wrong keywords. But anyways, I have noticed at seemingly random times the screen will get really "sharp."
Most noticeable using SwiftKey (latest) keyboard. I'll notice the text hurtful to the eyes. Regardless of auto brightness, high or low it has no effect. Wallpapers, all text on webpages and home screen is very sharp. Has anyone else noticed this on their devices? It is not very frequent and I have not been able to conjure up the effect on demand. I forgot to take a screenshot (though I do not think it will show up in a screenshot?) But I will the next time it occurs.
I can lock it, open apps, video's, clear ram and apps.. it remains sharp. Only way to remedy it is by restarting the device.
Device:
GT-i9505
XXUBMGA
Not rooted, using Nova Launcher Prime.. no other tweaks or modifications.
I've experienced the over-sharpness on previous firmwares as well.
Would you post a screenshot?

[Question] graphical glitch? galaxy s5 verizon 900v

Hi- this screen never appeared before and now it does -.- tried wiping factory resetting and this image wont go away from my homescreen. Idk what happened please help looked everywhere of how to remove this but no one has had this issue. This never appeared on stock until after i unlocked my bootloader and installed cm. Tried to use the repair assistant and its still there.
edit: idk why it does not show in my screenshots. here are some photos taken from my iphone... hard to show but there is a white line that is in the background of my homescreen. Shows an sms icon slightly transparent. Annoying **** to look at when I take pics on snapchat. As you can in google playstore and the snapchat photo a SMS icon appears behind the mic in play store and under the switch to facecam icon in snapchat. Does anyone know a fix??
I still have no idea what you are talking about.

lol. ok before on my screen it will be normal fine no graphical errors no visual glitches. pictures wont show it for some reason but if you had my phone in my hand it would show up as SMS icon at the top of my screen like right below the navi bar. Shows up in camera and on my snapchat. Never happened till now. Idk if my screen got messed up or if its the constant switching of roms etc that gave me that glitch. its like a white line that separates the navibar and the rest of the screen at the bottom shows a menu bar on the left corner and some icons. its very transparent under the homescreen display like if the stock rom overlapped
like it shows a small phone screen is under the home screen. in the background- get me?
It's screen burn in. It happens with amoled screens if they are left on a static image too long. You can try some burn in fix tools in the play store. That's why you don't see it in your screen shots it's a hardware problem.

Issue with Google News feed images

Edit: restarted the Google app, it's fixed now. Must have been changing power modes / resolutions.
Using WQHD+
The images in my feed have the bottom 1/4 or so stretched, makes for some strange headshots.
I have disabled the navbar through ADB, using fluid ng maybe that's causing the issue?
Anyone else seen this?
