lets just wait for LOS O..hehe.. anyone tried it? boit time? camera improvement? or just the number is upgraded? from 8 to 9? what a shame.. so xiaomi wants us to use unofficial port from mi max

Xiaomi is my number 1 most hated mobile brand, still on Android 6 how pathetic, ffs the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 has Nougat planned for it (yes a different brand but still same year)
Stick to v9 - 7.0 never ever going to this tomorrow.
Why did there build this rom when a newer port is working so good???

I dont understand the point of upgrading...
Seriously I wl never go back to miui official ever.finger crossed . Miui 9 port by orochixxx is my daily driver now and Hopefully they will fix the bugs like cam recording, brightness very soon...so *** k miui official.

This is not a port, this is official rom from Xiaomi. This is first Close Beta rom Miui 9 China Developer for rn3pro, 7.8.28 is first close beta for all phones from third batch.
Official link,official rom and md5 its good.
I test on mi4, redmi4, redmi note 2 and redmi3.

8 hrs on moderate to heavy use with 1 days standby time.antutu dnt knw,dnt believe.
Hey is anyone using mi globe rom for their redmi note 7 or was using it? If so I'd appreciate to read your opinions about this rom on the rn7. Ive used the globe rom for rn3 for 2 years and I loved it. Is the rom for rn7 as stable as it was for rn3?

I would also like to switch from crDroid 6.3 to mi-globe, mainly to have easier usage of ANX and GCam. Currently the MIUI Custom-ROM Builder for Xiaomi RedMi Note 7 shows MIUI 20.11.12 (Android 10 / MIUI 12 2020-11-13 00:19:56) based on xiaomi.eu Builds as latest build you can customize, which I would love.
Also interested in any user experience with mi-globe

I read that they are updating the redmi note 7 / pro to Android 10 with MIUI 11.0.2 for a few days, and that in a few months they will launch MIUI 12.
But what I do not understand is how it is possible that they will launch 11.0.2 with Android 10 and I have MIUI 11.0.6 and it has Android 9, I do not have a newer version?

I was in this same situation, using miui 11.0.6 with android 9, updated via OTA to miui 11.0.1 with android 10 without problems.
I am downloading the miui 12 beta of this topic, and I will try to install it.

You can update manually, rom file is available on official site. I also updated manually my k20. Battery life is little less than 11 but ui is smooth and fingerprint is faster than before.

On my Redmi Note 7 I have installed MIUI11 based on Android 9. I'm considering to flash newer version. What is your opinions about:
- MIUI11 Android 10
- MIUI 12
- MIUI 12.5
on Redmi Note 7 (lavender).
Issues, problems, advantages and disadvantages. Which version do you prefer the most? How about battery life?
Do you have any advices?
PS. I prefer stable versions.
My device is only 3GB and none of the miui versions above 10 gives me good performance. Especially the miui 12+ makes the phone so slow with about 200mb of ram
