Hey everyone.
I've created a post a few months ago - but after giving it a second look, I think it's in the wrong forum.
So here I go again.
I am unable to change mobile network providers.
I try to disable "Automatically select network" to change my provider manually.
An error occurs:
Couldn't find networks. Try again.

Click to collapse
When enabling the slider again, the following appears:
Already in automatic selection.
Click to collapse
(when I don't re-enable the slider, but rather back out of the menu and go in again, the slider is enabled by itself)
Has anyone ever run into the same problem or got an idea what could cause the problem?
Any help and ideas are very much appreciated.

Hi
Sometimes when I boot Vista it doesnt display the network and volume notification icons, and sometimes not the power one either. When I go to properties the checkboxes for these icons are greyed out and cannot be selected. Its usually fixed by a reboot but this isnt ideal - has anyone else seen this? I've not seen it on any of my other Vista machines before and I have applied all available updates?

Hi, have you checked the settings to make sure it's not silent? Check my screen shot. You'd have to tap where it says silent.

Is there a "Do Not Disturb" setting in Sounds and Notifications? I don't have mine yet, so I can't check for myself. but that has tripped my up a few times on my HTC 10.
If Do Not Disturb is not on, look for a setting called "Smart settings".... it is under General > Smart Functions [Label] > Smart Settings.... if you set the home screen settings to enable the Smart Bulletin Screen you can also get to it from there
Appreciate the replies folks..I just downloaded Textra, but the stock messaging App is still silenced
Same problem

I figured it would be a matter of time before someone else chimed in with the same problem..I still haven't found a solution other than a new app for messaging..
Went to t mobile today. They did a warranty swap for.me. LG told.me.to.send it to them for as service after factory reset did not work.

Maybe I'll do the same cause I'd rather not use textra
This is a feature of android 7.0. When you receive the message, swipe down from the top to show your notifications, press and hold the messaging notification and then you should get an option to select that states Don't silence. It's probably set to Show Notifications silently.
Thank you sir!!

Hello,
I keep searching through the XDA and on the web because I can not see any additional information on lock screen. I found that the S7 users got the same trouble but they can resolve it when turning lock screen "none" but unfortunately I can only use "swipe" as for now (B05). SS below

Solved by factory reset
