I want to flash Indian firmware on my Samsung S7 Edge SM-G935F (Snapdragon Varient). So if anyone can help me, i would really appreciate that.
I have attached below the link of the screenshots from the Phone Info App.

Thanks!
There's something wrong with your phone. First off, it says 935F, but 935F means it's Exynos. Then it says hero2ltetmo, which is tmobile, so thay means it should have been 935T, which is tmobile snapdragon.
At the bottom it says the CSC is 935T, so it's a Tmo snapdragon. Indian firmware is made for Exynos. This means you can't use Indian firmware on it because it won't work. Different CPU.

Damn!!
So can tell me about a stock rom for this phone in which i can use the Indian sim cards? Because when i reset the phone, it installs some bloatware Facebook and all that. So i wanna fix that by flashing the stock rom.
Thanks!
I guess no one is ready to solve my issue. So thank you for that!
Cheers to this awesome community!

Got a Globe S6 Dual SIM 64 gig black sapphire. Seems Globe has locked both SIMs to its network. I can't use my Sun network SIM in any of its SIM trays. Any way to unlock this?

Congrats on the new phone. For Smart issued phones both SM1 & Sim 2 can be used for Smart/Sun sim... Perhaps you need to unlock ur phone.
There's an unlock key available for sammy phones online costs 2k pesos. U might want to try that route.

You are very lucky Sir under Smart. It is stupid of Globe to introduce a dual SIM phone only to lock both SIMs on their network. It's fair to lock only one SIM and leave the other SIM unlocked.
Anyone tried rooting the S6? Or flash a custom ROM?
Got mine from globe as well. Tried 2 online unlocking options with no positive results. They all got refunded. I guess we need to wait more. Now my sun cellular is stuck at home.
BTW!
Rooted mine on the second day from the pick-up date last April 18.
Guys, I saw this while browing, http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...xtrestolite-deodexed-mod-edition-1-0-t3094423
Do you think it can work with our duos version? (Model: SM-G920F/DS via *#1234#)
A samsung store clerk told me that they did not launch the international version to our country, just the duos version, not just sure about the edge version though.
As what I've been told, all non-edge version of the S6 are duos and if there were any international version, they probably are gray units (imported).
Have not tried rooting my S6 since rooting it will disable all future updates.

I think you can flash that but make sure to spare the baseband and kernel as the regular 920F international does not support dual sim. Maybe the closest firmware we can get or copy or flash is the g9200 HK.
Anyhow if u failed or if sim2 fails, you can always flash back to original firmware from sammobile.

Not really concerned about Sim2 though. I think I have to read more about flashing roms, baseband and kernels. ) I'm used to just reading/watching tutorials but not fully understanding what's happening.. Anyway, to my understanding, if I straight up flash that ROM (not keeping the baseband and kernel), it might work with Sim1 only? Also, by flashing, it will automatically trip KNOX even if reflash the stock ROM from sammobile?
Thank you!

Flashing some others official firmware such as from sammobile does not trip knox, flashing unsigned and rooting trips knox. Flashing other regions firmware may disable sim 1&2 or simply sim 2 will not work, its either of the both.
You can go ahead and let me know hahaha so I will follow that route as well.

Sammobile has the openline version of the firmware. Can it work with my device even if it's Globe lock? Or should I need to unlock the device first? I'm not really bothered if my device is locked with globe as I do not intend using it with different carrier
Haha, I don't think I'll flash or even root the device anytime soon as I have yet to see fully stable or even working custom ROM for our version XD
My only concern are the bloatwares that's why I'm up looking for custom ROMs. Nevertheless, current version of TouchWiz is not really that bad..

I have a smart/sun locked s6. If you want to just get rid of Globe pre-installed apps you can change CSC.
Type this on the dialer *#272*your imei# .. By default it is set to GLB since its Globe issued. You can change it to XTC. Then tap install. Once you tap on install your phone will go to download mode and will automatically factoory reset theb it will boot up with a samsung default apps no operator pre installed apps. It will still be locked to Globe though.
Sanmobile FW is for XTC openline and can be flashed to locked phones. W/o issues.

Ok, that's kind of helpful. But, wouldn't it void my Globe/device warranty? Also, how does warranties work with samsung and/or device from carriers? I have only had process one warranty so far and it is with Apple. Their warranty, from my experience, is international and does not require the receipt. You just have to ship the original box of the device, its contents and of course the device itself to their address. I processed it via email with an Apple Specialist something.
Anyway, have you tried flashing the XTC from Sammobile yet?
EDIT:
Also, I'm up for development if anyone wants to create a custom ROM or whatever specifically for the version of our S6. I just need guidance though, as I have no experience in making such but I'm cool with learning. Thank you.
Hi guys, just want to know if we only have the duos version here in the philippines or the single-sim as well?

Hello
Can anyone tell me how to debrand my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
I bought it from Korea and I want it without the settings of their carrier OLLEH.
Do you also mean boot logo?
What does boot logo mean?
I have the Korean Olleh service provider settings and apps and I want to have it like without these configuration
Get whatever firmware you want from Sammobile and debrand away.

sorry you can't debrand it if you wanna stay on official by installing a firmware
but you can try to remove carrier apps by rooting your phone and you also can remove olleh logo from power on screen by updating csc
Yes you can, I did it to mine.
I have official Samsung firmware with no carrier software or settings.
I get updates OTA as they are released.
Which one?

I have the Verizon S7e and iI was able to flash the 935U firmware without any issues. I think as long as it's official, and uses the same CPU it should work. Sorry if I'm wrong about this but maybe someone else can correct me if I am.
Because he uses a korean variant of the S7 Edge, there is no unbranded os for that s7e

hi all,
please can any1 let me know what is the difference with respect to firmware in 935F & 935FD. can I flash the 935F firmware on 935FD version? And if yes then can I use both sims?
And does OTA depends upon the CSC? Means if I have BTU firmware then I would be receiving OTA when available for BTU version?
Further I have been flashing rooting everything on my Galaxy S5. But I've observed that S7 firmware includes 4 different files. Can any1 please explain what is the difference now.
Help in this regard would be appreciated.

Yes, you may flash G935F firmware on your Dual SIM G935FD and you won't lose the Dual SIM function.
Also yes, OTAs will be made available depending on whichever CSC your phone has, so you would indeed be getting the updates whenever they're made available for it.

So it means i can flash any rom with odin without the risk of bricking my phone. And please can you share aome info why now bl/modem files has been seperated. Previously these were bundled in a single file.
Thanks

Flashing a different ROM is a different thing, because that requires rooting so there's always a chance of you bricking your phone though if you follow one of the guides here you should be able to pull it off without bricking it, however flashing a different CSC with Odin shouldn't be a problem and you can use this guide for it
There's some info regarding why they're bundled separate in that guide to, because you can do it without changing the HOME_CSC.

I got my S7 Edge (SM-G935FD) Dual sim from ebay HK, and it has G935FXXU1BPLE ROM.
Where can i download this?
I need to return this to the seller, and want to flash it back to its original rom.

mmm... mine is dual sim exynos version
and i've checked on updato.com, none
Here's the screenshot
Europe/India/Malaysia model. If you never rooted or anything just factory reset it your fine. If you rooted and triggered KNOX they might not accept it back. That depends on the place of purchase.
I thought G935FD was dual sim. G935F was single sim. Did I miss something or do I have my models for Exynos bassackwards?
I suggest you use google to help you find the rom... I tried searching the rom you looking for just now using my phone thru google and managed to find some thread written in chinese and rom download wit pit files... Maybe it is the one you searching...

Not sure the model.
Never rooted, and I did factory reset.
KNOX is not triggered.
I need the rom, because I flash the phone with Indonesia (STOCK from sammobile) ROM, and I need to return the phone back for warranty repair (having problem with restarting and freezing).
If I were to send the phone back with Indonesia ROM, will they still accept the warranty?
And yes, it's a Dual Sim model (FD)
I found this: https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B9jhlAaVBesoOHRuOWhuN1IxTk0&export=download
Looks like it is Taiwan version.
I'm downloading now, how do you tell if the firmware is STOCK or custom/modified?
The file size is 2GB, but normal STOCK firmwares (based on sammobile) are around 1.4 - 1.6GB
I don't want to flash only to triggered my KNOX and I can't get it back for warranty....

Hi, i was trying to buy the international exynos version as i always do with every galaxy phone i buy but this time i would like to know if something bad happens (besides of losing dual sim feature) if i use a original dual sim s8 with a s8 exynos firmware (im not sure if knox will be triggered and odin will let me).
I will get the updates normaly? crutial factor with this red tint issue.
Tnx and sorry for the bad english.
If I remember correctly between the F and the FD version of the s7, you'll get software updates and everything works. Just dual sim wont work.
