I have read everything I can find about the mixer_paths.xml & mixer_gain.xml now. All files I have seen are different to my one and changing my one step by step has no success (just sounnd errors).... What I want is to increase my bluetooth headset.
Attached are my original mixer_paths.xml and mixer_gain.xml (just flashed the firmware from Switzerland with Odin, so there should no EU limitation in)
Because I tried everything to change, maybe I need to add something? Hope that someone can help me.
Just to add... it's Oreo 8.0
No one an idea?

This will help. Galaxy S forum also has extra quality knowledge.
(Extract JMA.tar (for example) using 7zip to a directory. Then use MagicISO to open the cache.rfs to find a folder called "Recovery" Inside are two files. One says "command" and one says "sec_csc.zip")

if i get you right then roto backup is what you need.
This is a solution to increase sound volume for Note 3 N9002 4.3 . Should work on all android version 4.3 on N9002 only..
Do not use on any other model as you do not have a dual sim slot. other models use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470890
This is a moderate sound boost.
Download File
1. Unzip file "snd_soc_msm_Taiko_CDP.zip"
2. Do a backup in recovery (optional but I always do one when messing with system files)
3. Use a file manager like root explorer and navigate to "system/etc/snd_soc_msm" folder
4. Create a backup of "snd_soc_msm_Taiko_CDP" by renaming it something like "snd_soc_msm_Taiko_CDP org"
or simple copy file and most software will call it "snd_soc_msm_Taiko_CDP copy"
5. Transfer the modified "snd_soc_msm_Taiko_CDP" that I posted to that same directory
6. Reboot
7. Enjoy
Alternatively you can use Flash update file however please back up first..
Just Flash It Using Any Custom Recovery
Please say thank you if it works for you..

and a few hours work by me
I think many of us who are using a n910t (t mobile) note 4 are looking for a method to run volte on their devices.
Here is the trick and it may work on other imported devices too.
REQUISITES:-
1. A rooted rom (Touch wiz) with multi csc.
(Those who are unaware of musti csc rom, can go for Ramrom...its a multicsc rom and perfectly working. If you want, you can try to install INU CSC on any other rom too.
2. INU CSC (drive.google.com/file/d/0B6jA0kmOqDu9aTF4dlFTZWNoOGM/view?usp=drivesdk)
Steps:-
1. Install a rooted rom with multiple csc ...Preferred is ram rom v9 (search xda for ramrom v9).
2.Open ES file explorer, grant root permissions (if not given already), go to /efs/imei/mps_code.dat, open it with text editor and change the pre wrtitten text to INU. Save it.
3. Go to system/csc folder, Look for INU folder,(if your are on ram rom, else link is given below, download from there), go to INU/system/csc folder. You will see 4 files here.
4.Copy all 4 files. Go back to system/csc folder, overwrite/replace the the 4 files present in this folder by the copied one.
5.Check the permissions of the copied files. It should be rw-r--r--
6. Reboot
Now under Apn settings, create a new apn:- Nae:- ims; apn: ims; protocol:ipv4/v6
Do not change anything else, Save it. However it will be not shown in apn names. So don't worry.
And jionet apn should be already present in the apn setting, and it must be selected.
Now remove battery,,,remove sim...wait for 10 secs. Restart.
Voila....You got volte...
I have provided a link for INU csc, you can download and try on other roms too.
Inu csc link

I tried this on N910C Exynos model. With you solution I am getting LTE only as additional option under network modes. but I am not getting VOLTE.
I have tried almost everything possible. Do you have any more ideas?
Will it work on lineage 14.1 is?

Sent from my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4 using XDA Labs
Where can I found mixer_paths.xml in pie
There are too many of them in /system/vendor/etc
Like mixer_paths DIC/PLE/ND1 .... .xml
By changing which of them will increase my phone's loudspeaker volume
I found some configs to boost volume in Nokia 5, and it requires root and mixer_paths
Will make a thread about it soon
Hi. Some time ago i was change phone for Redmi 7A and have question about file mixer_paths. I unlock bootloader and flash twrp. Now i have access to system folders and files.
Just now make change in mixer_paths file to increase volume. Delete old file and replace with my. Restart and nothing happens. It's sound exactly like before.
But there's like 15 different mixer_paths in vendor/etc files so i think i must change other.
Anyone help me solve this issue? Thanks!
