plz port cm 13 or android 6.0 rom for ZenFone 5 a501cg
I tried to port it from Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1.
Booting process stuck on the OEM Asus logo. I even did not saw a bootanimation.
I think if someone compile CM13 kernel using zenfone 5 sources, it at least boot.
CM13 compiling from source is impossible due to fatal compilation errors.

Any chance to port it ? And if yes, when ?:crying:
Who ever does this first will put the ZenFone in the top 9 % of android. Any takers?
If CM13 comes, I think that would mean that most users will not be shifting to different phones for a very long time and stick to their Zens.
I just feel that CM13 will be the much needed boost for a x86 device development *fingers crossed*
If CM13 comes to Zenfone 5, I don't need to buy a new phone for a while. :good:

@tank0412 the new kernel you compiled for aosp 6.0 is the cm 13 kernel with zenfone 5 sources right? so why don't use it with the cm 13? when you tried to port cm 13 from galaxy tab 3 10.1 the fatal error was on the kernel or the rom? we can try this....

There is a little more than 5% for P on the device, and even if we do get P it won't be until like December 2018, so forget it
as much as i know android p's source is released for google devices.... what if we try to port them???

Hi everyone! Porting SFOS on Xaiomi Redmi Note 5 pro. In HADK stuck on this: repo init -u git: //github.com/mer-hybris/android.git -b hybris-11.0
hybris-11.0 is the same cm11 base. The max version in the branch is cm14.1. And the manual is written under Nexus 5. But what is the problem: for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro, there is only a lineage-15.1 tree branch on github (cm-14.1 is not). I know, SFOS is ported to Sony XA2, and there is no cm-14.1 for it either. Especially for him assembled mer-hybris. How was this done? I watched https://github.com/mer-hybris/build-script, it is also written there for Nexus 5.
After a long search I found mer-hybris 15.1, yesterday I put 13 gb on the download, I will soon continue porting.
