I have the Galaxy S5, it is Verizon the SM-G900V model. I am selling it. I did activate it on the AT&T network but I am selling it as a Verizon phone because I did bought it from Verizon a couple of months ago. I do not have the Verizon SIM anymore. When I sell it and I do not want anything on it of course including important and confidential information. So, how do I wipe it completely like it came out of the box? Thank you!

I recently had to switch from Verizon to T-mobile as I had no signal at my new apartment. I just got the sim (T-mobile) from a friend, did not buy phone from them. Using my existing Verizon S5. I am having couple of issues i.e., (a) Wifi calling do not work (tech support guy told me unofficially that I should install custom T-mobile ROM) (b) Dial pad entry at automated prompt does not work!
My question is:
1. Can I install custom T-mobile ROM on my Verizon phone?
2. If yes, then which one is the best? (is it ROOTed?)
3. If no, then which one is the best? (is it ROOTed?)
I would very much appreciate if you can direct me to best method of flashing S5

I have a strange issue.
My router doesn't accept my girlfriends phone.
It's a Lenovo Moto G4 Plus with stock firmware Android 6.0.1
The problem is the device name "Google(Android)" without the quotes. The problem is the "(" & ")" characters.
Is there an option to change the device name without rooting the phone?

No, without rooting not. What router do you have? And what wifi security are you running? Which method did you use to bind the mobile to your router? Try adding the mac address of the gf mobile to the routers Mac table if you have mac security enabled.
Maybe there's some sort of filtering on that stops her from connecting

So I have a Moto G5 Plus Indian Model (XT1686) and I was using Pixel Experience ROM on it and then when I tried to revert to the stock ROM, I unknowingly deleted IMEI number and I'm left with no network and Sim Card detection.
I have tried every possible ways to probably get it working again, but I have messed up very much for that to work.
So now if there is anyone who is having a Moto G5 Plus Indian Model (XT1686) and is using Pixel Experience ROM and is still having VoLTE, network and Sim Cards detection, then please upload an image of your persist partition and efs partition too (I know restoring other device's EFS partition on mine wouldn't work but I still want to try EVERY possible way to get it working again.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.
